Astrea is closer than ever to her destination of Illumia, but she's never felt further from what she wants. Can she make it out of the Mist in time, and what's waiting for her on the other side of the dragon range? Or underneath, for that matter...
Marked is Part 4 of Running Toward Illumia and completes the first book in the series. Also available are: Banned, Part 1 of Running Toward Illumia Lost, Part 2 of Running Toward Illumia Drenched, Part 3 of Running Toward Illumia
Angel Leya is a hopeless romantic who’s been dreaming about her OTP (one true pairing) for as long as she can remember. She’s a lover of the paranormal and believer in the supernatural, and she infuses all her stories with at least a touch of that magic.
Leya is a USA Today bestselling author and Readers’ Favorite 5-star recipient.
Her claim to letters came from joining the Shifter Academy universe with four other incredible authors, all of whom are bestsellers and/or award winners in the paranormal romance and urban fantasy genres. You can learn more at www.TheShifterAcademy.com.
When not writing, she can be found reading, binging on sweets, and reigning over her four beautiful children like the evil queen she’s always wanted to be (just ask them).
Although she tries to read widely, she prefers her books from the young adult category, like JK Rowling’s Harry Potter series, Suzanne Collin’s Hunger Games, and AL Knorr’s Elemental Origins series.
The final part of book 1. While part 3 was a bit slower than the rest, this installment picked up the pace again. Dragons, fairies and all sorts of magical creatures get involved in Astrea's fate and she is forced into a destiny she is not sure she wants or is able to fulfill. I hope the next book will be out soon as there is a lot left open at the end of the book.
This installment of Running Toward Illumia brings Astrea and her friends through dragon infested tunnels to a waiting ambush, culminating in her first confrontation with Xia, the Dragonfae, and current Mouthpiece of the Mythics. Astrea must face the trial designed for moon elves in order to become the Mouthpiece. If she survives, she will only have a multitude of races depending on her, and an angry half-blood whose power and seat on the Council she usurped. Overcoming her lineage is only one problem she faces in Illumia.
