Ling leaves the boat after being accused of being disrespectful to one of the twin sisters she and Conner are protecting, leaving Conner as the sold bodyguard for both Emily and Chloe. The real action begins when Conner and the crew fend off an attack by Somali pirates, but are lured into their trap when they go to help a Dutch ship sending out a distress call. Now Conner must come up with a way to save the twins and their future stepmother before one of them gets killed.

The action is fast and furious in this continuation of the story that begins in Hijack. Even though Conner still doubts his abilities as a member of Guardian, he knows if he doesn't try, he will fail. The short chapters and action packed story make this another quick read in the Bodyguard series.

Connor has been on a huge yacht with two girls and their soon-to-be mother. Ling was sent home because she tossed Chloe's boyfriend out. Connor is now guarding the girls on his own. The boat is overrun with some sneaky pirates and is taken to Somalia where governments cannot go. Connor uses some pretty inventive ways to escape. The pirates don't hesitate to kill and the worry for Connor increases in this book. It looks pretty grim until he gets some help from an unusual source. You got to hand it to this kid and his methods.

I love reading this series and I don't want it to end. But sadly I'm reading through these books like people eat candy. I love the come back Connor makes when he is captured. I also like the big bang at the end of the book, when the oil tanker explodes.
I also like the way it ends with Connor saving the day again by detecting that there was a bomb on the speed boat. I like the way how Connor gets a very short break from each mission he does. I also like the way Ling has to leave, because Chloe doesn't like Ling. I like how chloe tries to flirt with Connor but Connor doesn't fall for it.

This book picks up where the last book ended. Connor is stranded in the ocean without any back up. Even with his team back in headquarters he is pretty much operating by himself. Connor has to deal with figuring out how to help the twins get free and how to protect him self so he can make it back home safely. I believe any middle school aged student or anyone who is older would enjoy this action packed book.

It was a really good book I’ve read it two times. the style of writing is very good to me but I dunno about you so I guess you should read it. If you don’t like my review (probably not that good anyway) no offense I don’t really like it anyway.📙

More action-packed, but less believable than the others in the series. We've ordered the U.K. versions of the next books so we don't have to wait!

A little more graphic than the others but still a good spy adventure for teens and their moms and dads 🙂
