FULL OF ANGRY AND BITTER CHARACTERS

THIS REVIEW CONTAINS SPOILERS BE WARNED. DO NOT READ FURTHER IF YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW
Sam's mother has been cheating on her husband, she is now moving Sam and herself to her new fiancé's house. But all is not well as said fiancé has two sons Mason and Logan, who despise Sam's mother on sight. As they have accurately summed her up as a gold digger.

Sam's boyfriend has been cheating on her for two years with her best friend while Sam's other BF covered up for them. Mason and Logan are a couple of man whores, there are constant parties at the house which often go on all night, there never seems to be any adults about. All of the characters in this are angry and bitter, and each have an axe to grind with everyone else.

The scene that really turned me off was when Mason, Logan and their friend Nate, physically attacked Sam's mother by forcing a whole bottle of booze down her throat, while Sam stood by and watched. Okay her mother was an unpleasant character, but Sam did nothing, just stood there really!!
First read for me by this author, something I will not be repeating. Too many characters, too many sub plots. It is impossible to feel any empathy with any of the characters as they are all pretty unpleasant. This is not a book I would recommend.

★★★★1/2! Fallen Crest High, book 1 of 7. The slow brewing & lustful romance between Sam & town heartthrob Mason Kade!

“Mason moved back and whispered as his lips teased my skin, "You're going to ride me long and hard tonight." I grinned against his neck. It was what every girl wanted to hear.”

Books in Fallen Crest High series should be read in order:
Book 0.5: Mason- can be read after book 1.
Book 1: Fallen Crest High
Book 2: Fallen Crest Family
Book 3: Fallen Crest Public
Book 4: Fallen Fourth Down
Book 5: Fallen Crest University
Book 5.5: Logan Kade
Book 6: Untitled
Book 7: Untitled

Fallen Crest High (book 1) follows high school junior Samantha Strattan, Sam during some tumultuous weeks after her mom leaves her father and moves in with her new man, the father of their town’s infamous and highly popular Kade brothers. Mason and Logan Kade are star athletes, resident bad boys and school jocks; boys (and men) want to be them and girls what to do them.

Sam has to cope with the devastation of her life and family while juggling the traitorous every-day life her privileged high school. And as she gets to know and falls for the elder Kade brother, Mason Kade her parents, classmates, jealous rivals, friends and ex friends stir the pot with drama, secrets, gossip, lies, betrayals, shockers and more!

Mason James Kade is top-two of my all-time favorite YOUNG alphas. He’s a layers-deep enigma with his quiet, unreadable, observant and cocky persona. It was my absolute pleasure to get to know a little more of the man behind the boy and look forward to more of him unfolding with series.

“As he yawned again and tried to cover it with his hand, I thought he looked adorable. His eyes were softer from the fatigue and his eyelids drooped a bit.”

Samantha Strattan, Sam has her whole world turned upside down yet through it all her determination, loyalty and thoughtfulness get her through. And when all else fails she goes for a run, running for hours. I predict we will learn more about what she is running from.

“She's conquered and proved her loyalty runs deep." He flinched.
"Real deep if I'm guessing at how far Mason goes in her—"

Fallen Crest High, told from Sam’s POV, is the slow brewing and lustful romance of Mason and Sam amidst chaos. It’s like a cult classic for me. I want to be eighteen again, move to Fallen Crest and pine after Mason like every other woman and teen in their town. And now with series nearing its end I look forward to follow them through high school and beyond. Up next is book 2: Fallen Crest Family , but first I will go back in time and get Mason’s POV in, book 0.5, Mason.

Forever special! Drama-filled high school plot! Sexual tension overload! Captivating, swoon-worthy and mysterious Mason Kade! Endearing, worthy-of-Mason and compelling Sam!

“I looked over and held his gaze. The butterflies were long gone now. A storm had started to roll in.”

And her whole, I don't give a fuck what people think about me, I will be who I am. Original and not a fake bimbo!

This book didn't have one HOT jerk, but had two fucking sexy very hot hot hot jerks!!
Gosh, Kept swooning over these two bad boys throughout the book!!
Loved their give a damn attitude even more... fuck, they both had me gushing and blushing throughout the book.

Sans the stubble

The brotherhood Mason and Logan shared.. :') AMAZING!! * hats'off*
It was so 'I'd give my life for you, take a bullet for you' type of a bond they shared.
Their plotting, their protectiveness, their games, their smiles and them... fell in love with it all.

The parents of this book were SERIOUSLY FUCKING MESSED UP, LIKE FUCKING SHIT.

Lydia swooned, swaying on her feet. "I need dry panties."
Even the side characters, Hell, all were FUCKING nuts!! - LMFAO!!
Loved each and every character, all so distinct and amazing.

The book is beautifully written.. some parts seem a little confusing but aren't.
The story, plot, characters, writing.. everything was amazing!!!!

I can't stop gushing about how much I loved and enjoyed this book!!

Can't wait for the second book to come.. 'Fallen Crest Public'
PS- This book did not have a cliffhanger ending.. it just has more to come.. :P

Incoming : the rantings of one crazy person.

Fallen Crest High was entertaining as hell. But still...

Yeah, it might just be that I'm getting too old for this shit.

No, I'm not talking about YA. I'll never be too old for YA. There are far too many great books with fascinating stories out there that the adult market just isn't able to do up the same way.

What I'm talking about getting too old for is stupid drama and the romanticizing of character behavior that is downright scary and appalling. Rarely, does a book make my stomach turn, but the following scene really disturbed me. Some sentences have been removed only for the sake of condensing a long passage. Nothing has been changed to alter the integrity of the passage.
Mason moved again so she couldn't see me. I heard a smacking sound and my mom cried out, "Ouch!"
Logan snapped. "Stop choking like a little bitch. I thought you had bigger balls than that."
"You guys can't talk to me like this..."
Mason taunted her softly. "What he doesn't know, you're not going to tell. You're going to sleep off this drunk stupor."
All three of them spoke as one unit. They moved as one and they had their sights on my mother. I pressed even closer to Mason, not sure what to do, if I could at all. Did I even want to? It'd been so long since someone protected me...
"I'm not that drunk."
"You are." He said it so smooth, so soft, and so chilling. Now he left me. I fell forward a step, lost from his warmth.
A second later, my mom whimpered out in pain. Logan started laughing again, the sound was so delightful and dark, I couldn't hide anymore. He'd taken hold of the back of my mother's head and tilted her head back.
"No!" My mother screamed out.
"Come on," Logan chided her and then forcibly pulled her jaw down. Her mouth snapped open and Nate poured something down her throat. She convulsed forward, choking as liquid spewed from between her lips. Her back spasmed backwards then, but Logan didn't let her go. He clamped her mouth shut again and ran a thumb down her throat. I watched as my mom fought, but in the end she swallowed.

They did it again.
And again.

These are high school students. And the mom's daughter just swooned over the ringleader.

I'm getting angry even thinking about it again. This isn't dark erotica, meant to make you contemplate the nature of how people go off the rails. Nor is it a realistic portrayal of people who were raised to be monsters, and how they fought to escape a hard life, so you wanted to root for them to overcome their beastly nature. Nope. This is just a story about kids making poor choices, and how they somehow come out looking sexier because of it.

It's as if the author took every single bad boy cliche and dumped it into these two brothers. Of course they're cocky. Of course they're rich. Of course they party. Of course they rule their school - AND THE TOWN! Of course they're mini-celebrities. Of course they can do whatever the hell they want. Of course they don't have parental supervision. Of course they're ripped. Of course they're fabulous lovers who have multitudes of girls in their beds.

Even in small towns, nobody has that much all-powerful influence. Two brothers have cast a spell over everyone in the city, encompassing two different schools? There are no other popular circles to be part of? No separate cliques?

Oh, but hey, the brooding loner chick who is hated by all the females somehow managed to have 3 guys (4 if you count Logan's puppy dog loyalty) panting over her?

Even Prince is judging you.

And the errors...man, the errors. There were typos and wording problems galore. Yes, galore. I'm bringing back the word galore. I like using words that other people forgot about. And what was up with every adult couple in the book somehow crossing paths sexually with the people in the other sets of adult couples? I've heard of a love triangle, but not a couples' love triangle.

Far-fetched, party of 6? Your table is ready.

But the book was entertaining - in a train wreck that you can't look away from - sort of way. If I didn't want to kick puppies and blow chunks over all of the foolishness, I would have been completely sucked into the crazy. Because, strangely enough, the crazy was kind of entertaining. And the steam level was also, strangely enough, kind of a draw - as long as I didn't think about the people being 17 and wanting to ride each other. Hard. Then I'd get creeped out, and would frantically start telling myself in my head that I was not that into a sex scene with underage kids. Surely, I could age these people in my head. Yeah...that. Boom. They're older now. *crisis averted* It's probably safe to say that this type of book would have worked better as New Adult.

Normally, this is where I'd shelve a book as will-not-continue-series, but I kind of want to see if anyone survives the carnage of this train wreck. Fallen Crest wasn't boring, so I might have to skim the second book to see if it gets any better. It's okay to call me crazy. I've owned the title for years now.

Honestly I don't think I've ever been so confused in my whole life. I wanted to like this book I really did but well for one I couldn't get an image of what they looked like all I got was a hair color and height of everyone so I was imagining pretty blank faces. This book really just seemed to drag on and on with no point ... And you know what I still don't get the point! It just wasn't making any sense at all to me and wow these characters ?! I wanted to punch all of them but Sam like wtf why is everyone cheating and being so fucking annoying ?! Give it a rest already and another thing I was so confused about , Sam didn't have sex with Jeff but yet she wasn't a virgin YET they were dating for 3 years which made her 14 when she first did it and he tried to get her 2 years before that?! I'm sorry but again wtf?!?!?!? I don't know I'll read the next one because I'm crazy and I guess somewhere deep down I am hoping the next one makes sense so I won't hate this book as much!

I couldn’t stop reading this book! Once I started it, it was non stop reading... couldn’t put it down. So much drama! But I loved it!!!

Samantha parents are divorcing. She moves in with her mom’s new boyfriend, and his infamous son’s Mason and Logan Kade. Samantha goes a private school that her dad coaches at. Although the Kade’s are very wealthy, they choose to attend public school for the football team. Sam has issues with her mother, not only does she have drama at home, but also at school. Her boyfriend of three years, Jeff has been cheating on her with one of her best friends. And her other best friend has been covering for them. The best thing about Sam... She Doesn’t Give A Shit! Seriously!
“Because you don’t care about anything. It’s your ammo. You don’t give a damn and no one can touch you because of it.”

The Kade boys have quite the reputation. After living with them for a while and trying to ignore them, they wear her down eventually. They take Sam under their wing and become the ‘fearsome threesome.’ Sam, Mason, and Logan become friends and are very loyal to each other. A lot of people at school try to make Sam’s life hell. Thank goodness she has her funny friend Becky to hang with. Even though the Kane brothers don’t go to her school, they are very protective of Sam and don’t let any one mess with her. Love it! To summarize the rest of the book would just be more rambling sentences that would probably spoil a lot... so just read it for yourself!!!

Now to the main characters... Sam- I freaking loved Samantha. She’s bold and frank and she calls it like she sees it. I love how she speaks her mind. Now to the best part...
The Kade Brothers I kind of love them both in different ways! Mason was the quieter brother, more reserved, but he was HOT! He had me swooning! And Logan... he was just such a cute guy, a good brother and funny as hell. He had me cracking up the whole book!
“See you later siblings. Have fun with your incest relations.”

“You’re a slut.” Logan smirked and glanced at Peter. “I don’t hide it.”

Not gonna lie, there was a lot of crazy going on in this story... especially with the parents. They were way more messed up than the kids! This book was nothing like I expected it, but in the best way! Can’t wait for the next one!!!

SPOILER ALERT!!

It started out really good, but then it got so confusing.

It's about Sam, her parents split up and now she is forced to move in with her mom, her moms new man and his sons. Sam is struggling to find herself when she's thrown into a very different world than she is used to, all thanks to her new brothers - The Kades.

This just wasn't a book for me. I didn't get what the point, or the message this book was supposed to send out. It seemed like a lot of different messages were put out there, but none of them got a deeper meaning throughout the book. Everything felt rushed, it didn't get any development - not the characters or the story or the purpose.

Also, I have a hard time with people who think it's okey to play with others feelings. Those who know that their actions is going to lead to something bad, for one person or more, but they still do it. That what was the Kade brothers and their friends were described as to me. Maybe it's just me, but I was raised to treat others the same way you want them to treat you. So it was a big no-no in my eyes, 'cause they did these kind of things all the time.

And I for one didn't find the Kade brothers attractive, they were too up their asses, thinking they could do anything and everything and pretend it's just to protect the ones they care about. When it, seems to me, they absolutely enyojed doing it, getting a thrill out of it and they didn't even have to take responsibility for the shit they've done. Sam, the main character, went along with it all and didn't question ANYTHING the Kade brothers were doing but questioned everything else. That is fucked up, because from my opinion they did sometimes more awful things than her not so much mother of the year did. And I know Sam had a lot to deal with but she just went along with it.

I didn't feel a connection with the main characters cause they seemed to have a deeper meaning but it wasn't revealed through the story so you could understand them better.

That's why I thought that almost every character in this book behaved like spoiled brats, so wrapped up in their own misery to see anyone else's pain but their own. Come on, worse things happens to people than what occurs in this book so it definitely doesn't justify their actions.

And maybe I just got a little pissed while reading it.

Do you have a trashy reality TV show you watch that you know you shouldn’t enjoy, but you just can’t help yourself? Where the drama is so ridiculous and eye-roll worthy you just sit there snickering because of it all but refuse to turn it off?

That is exactly what this book was for me.

The drama was absolutely, over the top, absurdly immature. The writing was kind of odd and certainly something I am not used to reading. The high school mentality and situations were so unrealistic I couldn’t help but laugh at it all.

But god dammit, I couldn’t put it down. It was like an entertaining train wreck I just couldn’t look away from. And I am basing this rating purely on entertainment value alone.

With all the craziness..and I am talking cuckoo for cocoa puffs type crazy (car bombs, cheating, sex, cat fights, crazy ass parents and step parents, cliché high school cliques) I would have expected myself to throw my kindle and proclaim “I am way too old for this shit.” But nope. Didn’t happen. I am almost ashamed to admit how much I actually enjoyed this.

Do I recommend this? Honestly, I don’t even know. Maybe? Is this a profound story with witty lines, swoon worthy romance, and thought provoking themes? HELL. NO. I couldn’t believe some of the crap coming out of these kids’ mouths. Or even the parents’ mouths! But is it entertaining? HELL. YES. Sooo if you do happen to pick this up, please don’t expect anything mentioned above. Just go in expecting some outlandish high school situations that are oddly …really intriguing. But ridiculous. So ridiculous. Did I mention how ridiculous this was? *runs off guiltily to read book 2*

Review
Seventeen year old Samantha (Sam) finds her life flipped upside down when she comes home and finds her mother Analise sitting in the midst of boxes. She wastes no time letting Sam know that they are not only moving out, but that she is divorcing her dad. Oh and to top that off she also met a man. A man who she is apparently in love with. The next day Sam and her mom move in with James Kade and his two sons.

Mason and Logan Kade have a reputation that precedes them and not just on the football field. They are coveted and followed by both the female and male teen population in Fallen Crest. Sam is very aware of this and is none to pleased with the identity of her new roommates. For the most part she flies under the radar when home by keeping to herself.

Things have changed, Sam finds herself alone with no friends and no boyfriend. But is being alone bad thing? Especially in Sam’s case when the ones she once called friends were not really good friends and her boyfriend was a major A-hole. I think not. Sam does not stay alone for long as an easy camaraderie forms between her Mason and Logan and though it is unexpected she willingly accepts it.

Sam is a runner and yes I mean that in the literal sense. She runs until she is numb from the pain that has been brought in to her life, mostly by her mother.

‘None of it matter. I mattered. I was the only one. I had to take care of myself.’ - Sam

What I love about her is the fact that she is far from stupid and it seems as if she is constantly underestimated by other females. She has this I don’t care attitude which people are unsure how to react to. She’s a wild card because you never know how she’ll respond. And I now wonder if her character was intentionally written to be that way or did it develop as the author wrote.

Mason and Sam
An attraction simmers between the two for a good while before they actually move on it. But once they do? **Wiggles Eyebrows** they go hard. Pun intended
"You're going to ride me long and hard tonight." I grinned against his neck. It was what every girl wanted to hear. Mason to Sam

Mason and Logan Kade
Logan is the more outgoing Kade. He is more accessible oppose to Mason who will ignore you as if you never even spoke to him. Logan is always in a good mood and if he’s not he must be really upset there is no in-between with him. Mason is also calculating it does not make a move unless it is warranted. He commands attention without even speaking, he is respected, his presence alone demands both and I think the author did a great job writing that in.

What I thought was really awesome was when we initially meet Mason in the story the focus is on his eyes as he and Sam have a stare off. But that is not why I like it, I like it because he is a watcher, he sits back in the cut and observes. So meeting in a stare down seems fitting!

‘Mason Kade was not stupid, far from it, and I wondered if I'd known it the whole time, if perhaps that's why I stayed away. He watched behaviors, he didn't listen to words. I wondered if Logan was the same and something in my gut told me he was.’ -Sam’s inner monologue

There is another player his name is Nate, Nate is Mason’s best friend and is also known to be his partner in crime. He is still a bit of a mystery to me, meaning I did not get a good read on his character yet but I’m reading book 2 now and that has changed.

Meet the parents
Not to be shown up by the kids the parents are around in this book though not as much as they should be they do play a part in the story. And they have just as much drama as the kids to the point where it is un-freaking-believable.

Here is what you need to know. There is a Fallen Crest Academy and a Fallen Crest Public. Sam goes to the Academy and the boys go to Public. There is a difference and the more you read the more the differences become prominent.

What was interesting to me about this book was the hidden plot, which was Hierarchy. I consider it a hidden plot because of the way it crept in to the story and then took on its own dominant role. Let’s just say that Sam was the low man on the totem pole until the Kade brothers came in to her life.

"Welcome to the Elite, Samantha. I hope to see you at dinner tonight." - Miranda

Yes, the hierarchy is a BIG deal. HUGE deal.

Sweet and Sour

My Sweet – The moment Sam realized she had power. You have to read the book to fully understand what I mean. Because I can guarantee what you think I mean is WRONG.

My Sour – All things Tate. I also did not like how people tried to use Sam. But like I said before the girl is far from stupid.

Final Thoughts
I am completely OBSESSED with this series! The Writing- I thought the writing was good, grammatical wise there was some errors but it really did not bother me I only mention it because this does bother some readers. The story was fast pace, I don’t recall any lulls in it, nope not one, the book managed to hold my attention from beginning to end. The author did not have these long inner monologues where the character reflected on something or someone longer than necessary. Instead she would get to the point and move the story along.

My Rating and Why
4.5 Stars - I enjoyed this book so much because it gave me a good dose of everything I was in need of at the moment drama, steam, hot boys, catty girls, rival schools, cliques, parties, uncertainty, shocking twists and two more books that will help me get my Kade brother fix!

Parting Words
Read the book!! I highly recommend it to mature-YA lovers and NA lovers who don’t mind a bit of drama in their reads!

My Ratings
Characters- Intriguing, Manipulative, HOT, Witty and Likeable
Writing Style- Good, fast paced with no over done inner monologues
Plot/Storyline- A young girl facing changes and learning to cope..or how not to..
Steam Factor- Medium/Steamy on a scale of 1-10 I say 7.5
Overall- I LOVED IT!!!!!!!!!

Now go forth and read. Then come tell us about it on Goodreads!

This book was very strange....let me start off with this though:

I enjoyed the beginning, when the main character Samantha was moving into a new house with a new family her mother was planning on marrying into. In comes the two ~hot boys who are supposed to be her new step-brothers, only the picture isnt so perfect because they all dislike each other and spend a lot of time in the beginning completely ignoring each other. There is some sexual tension between one of the brothers and Sam, and I was very interested in seeing how that would all end up later. Too bad it didnt reach my expectations.

The issues I had with this book were so many...I didn't hate it though, but I didn't want to finish it eiher. I usually never give that low ratings when I've read the majority of the book (since I very rarely force myself to finish it if its bad) but I was just going WTF during so many parts of it. Sigh.

Spoilers ahead:

I couldn't get into the fact that people were treating Mason and Logan (the brothers) like semi gods because they were rich (? and what? I dont get it) when most of the people who adored them, went to a private school themselves and shouldn't be that obsessed with finances. I didnt get the obsession with them whatsoever...how they were supposed to be bad boys doing criminal stuff (I didn't get that part either because it was so vague...why were they blowing up cars, why did samantha do it for them once???) Logan just came across as a mini hyper psycho in some parts and Mason...Mason was just fucking weird.

I couldn't connect with him at all, or the fact that he was supposed to be a love interest when he just came across as...really distant, I mean there was nothing about him you knew. It wasnt even mysterious, it was just nothing.

Then we have the time when Mason and Logan were both verbally abusive to Samantha's mother. Calling her a whore and other insults, generally being disrespectful little shits and crossing a major line. Samantha and her mother dont have the best relationship in the book and she said she doesn't respect her, but she is still your fucking mother. HOW can you let strangers talk to her like that? I do not understand it. I would never let someone talk like that to my mother no matter how pissed off I was at her! OR let them get her drunk and literally shove alcohol and some pills (whatever it was) down her throat??! What the fuck. And Samantha just STOOD there, while Mason was acting like some weird fucking alpha (and not in a attractive way - she fucking thought he was protecting her while they were abusing her mother) shoving her behind his back and pushing her against the wall and she did NOTHING. nothing at all. Just thinking about this made me lower the ratings to a two.

And another thing I did not understand was WHY in the world people would think having some sort of "Elite" group in school would be realistic. There is a difference between having different cliques in high school but this wasnt even that, it was a group of people who had money yes (which okay, please you're all in a private school, pretty sure everyone there has money aswell, or doesnt have issues with it) and people acted like the "leader" (I want to vomit) Meredith (was that her name? I don't really care) was a goddess to some extent, but clearly not as UP as the Kade brothers who EVERYONE wanted a piece of. I'm really rolling my eyes here because its such a drastic exaggeration of how people would be in real life, and also generally an exaggeration of everything regarding high school. I just can't relate to it.

The worst part is, I actually liked Samantha in the beginning and I could relate to her frustration with her mother but then her actions made no sense for me and I just didnt get her at all. The fact that she even tried being a part of that "Elite" group...I mean seriously, are you kidding me, where are your redeeming qualities? Such an awful character who really went against everything she was in the beginning. Going from disliking and wanting nothing to do with these people to trying to be a part of them and even failing with that.

To sum up, I almost feel like the author was trying to send the message that fitting in when it comes to school, is what is best. And what we should all aspire to achieving and that the cliques that are on top, should all be looked upon like gods because they clearly aren't normal people like you and me. No they're extra-ordinariy, unique beings who have fought their way on top by having a buch of materialistic shit and generally being narcissistic douchebags and vain assholes who live in their own bubble.

In conclusion, I thought this book having such high ratings meant it was good. Too bad it wasn't and I ended up very disappointed to say the least.

And here i thought it couldn't get worse than Fallen Too Far! Turned out i was wrong. Fallen Crest High is our winner!

Actually, they are pretty similar.
-Step-brother romance
-love/hate dumb meets dumber relationship
-cringe-worthy love interest.
-The word "fallen" in the title and more blah blah blah.

I actually managed to finish it! But i wish, oh, how i wish, i wouldn't have bothered. This was insanely stupid. I've laughed while reading countless times, but I've never, EVER, actually laughed at the book before. I was literally just sitting on my bed dying laughing! Thank god no one was home.

This book started out really good. I liked the story, i though the MC was kind of refreshing, everything was going well. My only problem is the male main character! I get nothing from him. NOTHING! I don't love him. I don't hate him. I don't think he is funny. I don't find him sexy. Hell, i don't even know how to picture him. Even his brother and his friend have more going on than this cardboard. There are other minor things that annoyed me, but mainly it was just this doormat constantly trying to act dark and mysterious. Quit it, dude! It's not working!

This is me while they are getting all hot and heavy:

I've given myself whiplash!! Two days of a mother bugga book funk I have started and stopped so so many books and I never got passed this book within the series so I'm going to have a Tijan marathon, if this doesn't send me on a non book funk journey my life is doomed!!

Oh Becky your priceless Anyways, I’m happy that he likes you. Last year I wouldn’t think you had any balls. I mean, look at who you were. You had two sleazy best “friends and an even sleazier boyfriend. They were all sleazy together behind your back. Some people thought you were stupid or had special needs or something.

And just like my first rating I loved this whole heartedly, the feels, the angst, this book just had it all, add in Mason and this was a perfect way to spend the weekend..cray cray loved this book

Previous review!! Wow is all I can say shakes head in shame lol

The cover or the write up didn't do this book justice, the cover is boring and the write up doesn't really tell you much so your kind of going into this book blind with no clue to what its really about..
The only reason I read this was because it was cheap on Amazon..
Thank god I did..I loved this book!! Without giving too much away I just want to say that hot damn I loved the dominant males in this!! Definitely hanging out to read book2..This book definitely gets my 5/5 stars..

Karla and I plan to one day write a combined review for all three books in this series. To say we are ADDICTED is an understatement!

-------
GUILTY PLEASURE READ AND NOTHING MORE!!!

This authors is my ADDICTION. My CRACK! My ESCAPE! My EXCEPTION. I can't get enough of her books.

Her stories–all of them–will ALWAYS be 5 star reads for me because I don't read them like I do other books. They have become my escape, my guilty pleasure, my one exception. They encompass EVERYTHING that would normally drives me bat-shit-crazy, yet they don't. For whatever reason, they are in a class of their own and they work for me BIG TIME. I just hang on and enjoy the crazy ride.

Note: This book is horribly, horribly edited. It's a big ol' mess! Frankly, since all of her other stories are well edited, I can't for the life of me figure out why the book that introduces this series to readers has not received the same attention to detail. It's a shame because this story deserves to be edited.

4 stars!

“People are snakes, you just have to figure out their different colors, but they're all the same. Everybody wants something.”

I read Fallen Crest for the first time over four years ago and felt the need for a refresher! I never finished the series and wanted to get back to it, but needed to start from the beginning again. This is about teenager Sam whose mom dumps her dad and gets a newer richer man. The downside of this is Sam moves in with two stepbrothers who hate her, and who dictate all the social rules in their town.

I can't say much more than that without spoilers, but this is a guilty pleasure soap opera story you don't want to miss out on! Filled with angsty teens, gossip girls, alpha males and so much family dysfunction you'll think your own family is normal! And I love every second of it! Seriously though, if you need a reality escape, this is the book for you.

“In that moment, I realized that he always had that effect on me. The ice façade I reigned over myself was plucked away whenever his attention was on me. He reached over and took it away like I was a baby with candy.”

thumbs down

Angry, ranting review incoming... This story was absolutely murdered by horrendous spelling and grammar errors. Spelling mistakes, missing words, incomplete sentences, complete sentences that made absolutely no sense, lack of understanding of how to properly use pronouns that caused all sorts of confusion as to who was speaking or being spoken to/about. I read a lot of self pub/indie books, and errors are part of the deal. Usually, I can just ignore them as I read, but I just couldn't do it with this book. It was too hard to keep straight who said/did what because of the pronoun misuse and massive amounts of missing words. Can and Can't, Do and Don't and many other combos were often mixed up - drastically changing the meaning of a lot of phrases. There were many occasions where it felt like the author opened a dictionary to a random page, chose a random word and just stuck it in a sentence, regardless of if it made any sense. I get the feeling that English is not the authors's first language. I'd be shocked if it was.

I DONT UNDERSTAND YOU

The book managed 2 stars out of me because of Logan. He's the reason I finished this one. His idgaf attitude and smartass mouth made him an enjoyable, funny personality to read. The rest of the lot were very hard to find enjoyable. The attraction and bond between Mason and Samantha was nearly nonexistent and poorly built. When they finally decided to suck face it was awkward and felt random. Even as the story progressed, I just didn't feel the connection between the two of them. The premise of the story could have been good, had it not turned into a crazy soap opera. Way too many characters, way too much pointless drama and way too many plot twists in an already convoluted plot. These two are brothers, she's the soon to be step sister who's mother cheated with their father, who's real mother cheated on their father while he cheated on her and now she's sleeping with the soon to be step sister's biological father and while her fake father is sleeping with a pta mom, and they're all actually mermaids who come from atlantis but decided to grow legs and move to the shore to live in mansions. It was just too much.

Based on the ratings, this looks like one of those books that I'm in the minority of as far as liking it goes. And I'm okay with that. Logan, ilu, but I will not be reading the follow-up to this one.

Well, I am officially naming this series my book crack of the year! LOL The worst thing is that I have to admit that I am thoroughly enjoying all of this teenage drama! I'm not sure what exactly that says about me, but I really don't want to think about that too hard!

To sum up this book is actually really easy: DRAMA!! That is really all there is to this book; but it is written in a way that will hold the reader captivated from start to finish. I couldn't put this book down, and when I absolutely had to, I was thinking about it! This series is not for everyone though. If high school drama isn't your thing, then make a pass at this one. The whole book concentrated on all the different dynamics that goes on in good old High School. It helps remind me to be grateful that I'm an adult now, and not stuck back in the sometimes hell of high school!

Samantha is from the private school of Fallen Crest, and her life drastically changes when her mother one day tells her that she is getting a divorce from Samantha's father. (he happens to be the Football coach in her school) All of a sudden Sam's life gets turned upside down when they move in with her mother's boyfriend; who happens to be the father of the "High School Gods" Logan and Mason. When I say they are Gods of Fallen Crest High (the public school) I am not exaggerating. These two are worshipped by all, and can have any young lady they want from school. At times I found it got to be a bit much with how much these two boys were put on a pedestal. Escpecially considering how they are know for their sleeping around and trouble making. At first, they can't stand Samantha, and she can't stand them; but something happens that brings them all together and they end up becoming very close. They take Sam under their wing, and become very protective over their new "step-sister."

That is the main part of the story in a nut shell; but there is so much else going on, and there are a ton of characters that add to all of the stories excitement! There is never a dull moment in Fallen Crest, and I am loving every minute of it. I can't wait to continue on to find out what will happen next! Oh, and one last peeve that downed my star ratings was how much sleeping around all of the teens were doing. I must be getting old because that just really bothered me, and believe me, there is a ton of bed jumping going on...ugh. Even with that said though, I can't wait to see what Tijan has up her sleeve for Book two!!!

Wow! This book was really something. There was so much drama I didn't know what to expect next. And I honestly have no clue how to even begin to review this because...well...So. Much. Happened. Since there are already an abundance of detailed reviews out there I will keep this one short.

Sam is a teenaged girl who's entire life seems to be turned upside down. Her mother is divorcing her father--a man that coaches the football team at her private school--and now she finds herself being forced to move in with her mother and her mother's new boyfriend--the wealthy father of the notorious bad boys Mason and Logan who go to public school. Which means that Mason and Logan will now be her stepbrothers. This is where drama will ensue and where she ends up lusting after her stepbrother Mason. Yeah, I know that's quite a bit to take in, but that is just the beginning of this book.

I honestly didn't think I would have enjoyed reading something like this, and I'm pretty sure that did because I could not for the life of me put this freaking book down. Samantha was a pretty cool chick, well, until she wasn't. Then she was plainly annoying and so damn frustrating with how she reacted to things and behaved. Then there was Mason. He was so intimidating and so sexy I was helpless to him. I totally fell in love with this guy. Logan, Mason's brother, was also all kinds of awesome and funny. I loved that he spoke his mind freely. Both boys were also quite the rebels and I'm not gonna lie, they were also a bit scary. Still, I couldn't help but like them.

I very much liked the slow burn between Sam and Mason and how they eventually became so much more. I do wish there would have been a bit more focus on the relationship between so that I could see that relationship grow more. But, like I mentioned before, there was so much freaking drama with the secondary characters and the main ones that it was freaking crazy. The gossip mill, holy freaking gossip mill. Some characters I liked, others I didn't. Some I hated and liked at the same freaking time. There was freaking backstabbing, jealousy, and cattiness. There was drama between Fallen Crest Academy and Fallen Crest High that Sam somehow got involved in. It was just utter craziness but I couldn't stop reading.

Overall, it was a very interesting book to put it mildly. I can definitely see this book as being one you either enjoy or really hate. I know this one won't be for everyone. Mainly because of the many eye rolling and immature moments this book contains, and of course the drama. But I liked it. It kept me captivated until the end. It wasn't perfect and didn't always make sense, partly due to the editing of this book (like seriously someone needs to get on that pronto). But, I think this was a solid 4 stars. I can't wait to get to the crazy experience I'm sure book 2 will be.

Wow. I can't find words to describe how amazing this book was. Tijan's got herself a new fan!! This was me throughout the whole book!!!!!!

description

This one gave me a really bad book hangover. *sigh* It's a little hard to review because.. So. Much. Happened.

Sam is a seventeen year old girl, who has just found out her mother cheated on her dad and is getting divorced. She got kicked out, so they are moving to live with her boyfriend, James Kade, who happens to have two sons. Mason and Logan are the bad boys of Fallen Crest Public. So Sam has two new stepbrothers, who she wants nothing to do with. Then Sam falls for Mason, and that's when the drama starts.

Sam
description

I loved Sam's no-bullshit attitude. Everything that happened, she managed to cope, and the fact that she didn't give a damn about anything helped a lot. She finds out that her boyfriend was cheating on her with her best friend, and her other best friend was helping to hide it from her. Later on, Mason and Logan start talking to her, and they become friends-ish, and then she starts lusting after Mason.

Mason
description

Mason is intense. I loved his relationship with Logan. They were clearly close, it was a i-would-die-for-you kinda brothers, which was totally sweet. Loved loved Mason!!!

Logan
description

Logan was absolutely hilarious throughout the whole book. His attitude is completely different from Mason. He's light and carefree. Whilst Mason fights, he talks. He's never afraid to speak his mind.

This was my first book from Tijan, and I fell in love with her writing from the start. Usually this kind of plot, with so much crazy things happening isn't my kind of book, because I get confused but in Fallen Crest, I loved it! This book has high school drama, steam, hot guys, catty girls, great chemistry, parties, and shocking twists. A bit of everything, and it captivated me to the very end! Reading Fallen Crest Family next!!!

I didn't get the fascination with this book.
The plot is confusing. The writing is horrible. I couldn't tell what was going on half the time in the book because alot of it was going on at once and it didn't make sense. The main characters were weird and seriously, describing someone having a 'hyena laugh' does not make that guy gorgeous.
I didn't understand Mason and Logan. Honestly, I thought they were creeps ad bullies. They tortured people and bullied good guys like Adam and the author went around and tagged Adam as a bad guy? WHAT THE FUCK. This story was CONFUSING. I still didn't understand the half of it.
And the drama, OH MY GOD! It was ridiculous. Basically the heroine Sam, is dating her step brother Mason. But people think she's dating her other step brother and Mason's real brother, Logan who apparently likes her too. I don't know what the fuck's with that because Logan never seemed to like her but treated her as a sister in the whole story. Then, we find out Sam's mom and Mason and Logan's dad are going to get married. Sam's biological dad and Mason and Logan's mom are getting married. Sam's father who raised her is marrying one of Sam's classmate, mark's mom. I mean, seriously! TOO MUCH FUCKING DRAMA WHICH DIDN'T MAKE SENSE. I didn't get the point of hooking up Logan with Sam's school's QUEEN BITCH, Miranda so that Logan could be happy and forget about Sam? WHAT THE FUCK IS HAPPENING IN THIS BOOK. I didn't understand the story. Or the characters.
And every 10 pages and Sam goes of running for 4 hours at a stretch.
And the love between Mason and Sam? WHEN THE FUCK DID THAT HAPPEN?!?!?!? They were barely together in the book. Then they ended up having sex once. Then twice. Then no contact for a week. then again sex. And then they said I love you's to each other.
URGHHHH!! NEVER BEEN SO FUCKING PISSED AT A BOOK BEFORE!
I HATED THIS BOOK. HATED IT. NEVER EVEN BOTHER READING THIS. I ONLY GAVE IT 2 STARS BECAUSE IT HAD A CLIFFHANGER ENDING AND IT GOT ME A BIT CURIOUS.

”People are snakes, you just have to figure out their different colors, but they're all the same. Everybody wants something.

Story 🌟🌟🌟🌟
One day Sams world bursts into chaos. Her mother cheated on her father and now she wants to move in with her new lover. And she wants to take Sam with her.
Worst thing of all? The last name of her new lover is Kade - so now she’ll life with Mason and Logan Kade, two extremely talented and arrogant football players.
But when Sams world bursts into chaos every day again and again she soon realizes that her friends are enemies, her family is really complicated and the Kade brothers are not as bad as it seems.
Wow, you guys. So much drama.
DRAMA BABY DRAMA!
I mean this book is full of it. And it’s of nearly any kind - friendship drama, love drama, Highschool drama, family drama etc.
And it was kind of addictive but also kind of annoying? Does that sound weird?

Character 🌟🌟🌟
Oh wow. You know who I love? Mason and Logan? You know why? Because I always wanted to have big brothers who protect me, someone I can call family. And this was what Sam had after a while.
Logan used girls anytime he wanted for anything he wanted, but when someone started to mess with his new step sister or his brother hell was set loose.
Same with Mason - our calculated smart and extremely strong football player.
I can’t really explain why I liked them so much but I did.
Then there is Sam - our main character. I know I should probably love her, this strong willed, beautiful lady that didn’t care for anything or anyone. She was this ice queen all the time.
But I don’t like characters like that. She was always so uninterested, she didn’t care about anything. All. The. Freakin. Time.
Then she cried, then she punshed someone or someone punshed her, then she didn’t care, then she ran a few miles (like three hours every day) and yeah. She was really complicated.

Relationships 🌟🌟🌟
Uh, again I loved the whole brothers sister friendship and loyalty. It was really beautiful.
The relationship between Mason and Sam?
I mean... I guess there is really a time were people are horny all the time and can bang like crazy... but I mean... is this realistic?
Ugh, never mind.
Like is said: the protection, the loyalty, the family bond all of the three (or four if you count Nate in) have.
It was nice.

Writing style 🌟🌟🌟
Well, It was addictive. I can’t deny that.
But it is written in a really really easy way.
Sometimes it felt a little bit like I read some fanfic on Wattpad.
But all in all it was entertaining and I liked it.
But I won’t continue with the story.

If you haven’t read any of Tijan books, then I’m here to tell you, stop what you are doing and pick one up. Yep, just do it, go put the word “Tijan” in your search box on Amazon and then do your one click thing, b/c you will get your money’s worth and then some.

Oh I should warn you, this review will be filled with major fan girl moments. Do I have a crush on Tijan? Maybe. I would like to take this moment to thank all the people that have pushed me to read this book. I even had an author bestie tell me. Yeah, I have an author bestie, she doesn’t know that b/c I’m like stalker, but anyhow, she told me to read Fallen Crest High several times and so I finally did.

I FUCKING LOVED FALLEN CREST HIGH!

Oh I loved Mason

I loved every-single page.

If I could make love to a book, I would. TMI? I will reframe and will go on with the review now.

DISCLAIMER - > THIS IS NOT A LOVE TRIANGLE BOOK. This is about two brothers and a girl. It’s filled with 100% adorable, laugh-out-loud cuteness.

Cheaters are weak. They’re selfish and they’re cowards. No, I’m not a cheater and I never intend to be.

Samantha’s (Sam) mother just told Sam that her parents are getting a divorce. Sam and her mother will be shacking it up with the man her mother cheated with. Sucks right? So Sam has to move in with her mother’s lover and guess what?! He has two sons. Shocker. The two sons are Mason and Logan. All three kids don’t want anything to do with each other. Mason and Logan go to Fallen Crest Public and Sam goes to Fallen Crest Academy, they are rival schools.

Okay, so that is just the TIP of what the book is about. Look, I don’t want to go all into it, but let me break it down for you by my personal opinion of the characters and then my overall feelings.

Sam

Sam is an incredible, strong, awesome and a little bitchy Heroine. I love her. I usually don’t like bitchy Heroines, but damn it, I secretly want to be her. There’s a lot of shit she has to do deal with. She’s got her dysfunctional family, friend problems and people treating her bad at school. You want to give the girl a hug, but really she doesn’t need it b/c she’s like fucking tough.

Logan

Oh lord, he’s funny, strong, and a major asshole. Logan is the type of guy you just want to watch a movie with because he will talk the entire time talking and make you laugh the entire time. If you think funny is sexy, then that’s Logan.

Mason

Where do I begin with him. SIGH. My author bestie told me I would love him b/c he’s a major brute, alpha male (yadda yadda) you know what I mean and damn, she’s right. I LOVE Mason. He is a book boyfriend and yes I even have dreams about him. Just half the shit he does in the book, you are thinking to yourself, Mason, can you do that to me?! He’s arrogant, broody and kind of mysterious, but in the end he’s passionate and loyal. Um… yes please.

He was sculpted as a statue. The added comfort he had with his body, which he didn’t give a damn if he were naked or wore clothes, took my breath away.

This was my first Tijan read and it will not be the last. I finished this book at 2AM and I started book 2 right away. I’m that much of a psycho. You guys get it. When I love something, I love it to the fullest and I will admit to you now, I loved this book and I love the author.

READ THIS BOOK and then message me so we can talk about it.

This book was awesome! Boy, was it filled with so much drama and I was riveted to it all. I’m so glad I did not go to high school with these people. They would just rather eat you up and spit you out.

I started this book with some false assumptions that had me doubting the real reasons behind a few actions. That made me hesitant about some of these characters until I realized I was wrong. I loved Mason, Sam, Logan and Nate. Their loyalty to each other is what I truly love to read about.

Mason is the silent broody type of Hero that I adore. Sam was the I don’t give a f*** heroine I rarely find in books. Logan was the life of the party. I wondered if he was on speed throughout most of this book, but I loved him for it. Nate wasn’t in the book too much but he made an impact regardless.

The rest of the characters were bitches and I gleefully enjoyed them getting stomped on. I probably shouldn’t admit that... Yep, I’m hooked.

⋰⋱⋰⋱⋰⋱*Mason really turns me on*⋰⋱⋰⋱⋰⋱
This review is purely for me and might contain spoilers and facts from the book to keep myself in the known at all time. It's also long and somewhat detailed.

Second re-read: 24.05.2018
Somehow, I still like this book. Samantha ‘Sam’ Jacquelyn Strattan (17) is almost, almost like me. I, too, struggle to feel, what she does to numb the pain; running, I do with reading books. We both have the ‘I just don't care’ feeling/mood(?), so that's probably why I'd get along with her. Mason ‘Mase’ James Kade (18?) is still fucking hot. I love how he's in control, not scared, always having the upper hand, always being the powerful one, and he is a somewhat dominant alpha male; just my type. I'd read this book all over again just to be with him again. Overall, I'm not really all that surprised that I still like it. It's a interesting book, with hot sex scenes and all that. Still something is of course missing from making this book a fantastic story. But the rating went a little bit down this time around. The rating seems to go up and down for me...
I didn’t care. As I drove away, I sat back. I really didn’t care, about any of it. And I knew in the back of my mind, far far in the back of my mind, that this wasn’t the healthiest feeling. But then again, I didn’t care.

Some quotes from the book:
I've put these in a spoilers tag simply because it's a long as list.
I hadn’t seen the Kade brothers up close, not in a long time, but I’d heard plenty about them. Logan was a junior, like me. Mason was a year older. Both were good looking and Mason was rumored to be six foot one with a muscular build. He played defensive lineman for a reason on his football team. Logan had the leaner build, but he was an inch shorter.
I snorted to myself. I couldn’t believe I even knew these details. As I cursed my friends inside for their gossiping ways, I glanced back at the Escalade and froze once more. Two green eyes stared back at me.
Mason had been filling up his vehicle and watching me the whole time.

Other characters:
I've put these in a spoilers tag simply because it's a long as list.
“I don’t care. I can’t handle this. My game is talk. You tried to take that away.” He shot an arm towards Mason. “He fights. I talk. That’s the magic of our twosome fearsome. Sam’s one of us, man. She’s got the guts to do the dirty deeds if we don’t. She watches out for us too. Ya’ll are stupid if you didn’t see this coming.” He thrust his arms out wide. “The three of us are a magical team. No way are you screwing this up.”

Quick basic facts:
Genre: - (Young Adult) Contemorary Romance.
Series: - Series, Book One.
Love triangle? -
Cheating? -
HEA? -
Favorite character? - Mason Kade.
Would I read more by this author/or of series? - Sure.

Oh my Gosh!!!!
I can't even talk about what i have just read!!!

That was fuckin' amazing!!!
Extraordinary!!!
Unbelievable!!!

That book rocks!!!!

I don't know from where to start!!!
I just love everything about this series, but more of all i loved with all my heart the awesome threesome!!!
No, no, no... Foursome!!! Sam, Mason., Logan, and of course... Nate!!!

Well, let me take it from the beginning...
Sam's reality changed, when one day from nowhere her mother announced her that she's getting divorce from her father and that they have to move... with her new boygriend and his two sons. At the same time she's discovering that her three-years boyfriend cheated on her with other girls, and permantly with one of her two best friends. And the other one she knew about it and she was covering them.
As her world collapsed she has to deal with many shits...
And between all of them, she has to deal with the Kade brothers who she totally dislike them...

Mason Kade is handsome, intelligent, brutal and badass...He has a bad reputation, and a whole line of girls on his feet. From the first moment that his eyes met Sam's something strange and powerfull born between them, even than his attitude wasn't match with the things that his eyes admitted and promised.

Logan Kade is equally handsome and intelligent but more open to the people. He talks too much, he laughs too much, he's screwing too much and he's showing more emotions than his brother...

Both of them, in the beginning they kept their distance from Sam but after a while they were taking her under their wings...

A lot things happens... goods and bads... but i can't tell you!!!
You have to read it to find them out!!!!

There were crazy, selfish parents, many jealous guys, fights, make-ups, old friends, new friends, many enemies, many funny moments and many intense moments, a lot of running for numbing the emotions...

and much, much more things!!!!

There was a delightfull scene near to the end that was so fuckin' crazy!!!
Eight people that everybody say whatever they want and they forgot the true meaning of their meeting...

And of course, we have so much love!!!!

Oh!!! I can't forget to reffer to Nate. I love this guy so much!!!
He was like a fireman... and Becky, who was knowing every gossip inside and outside of their school. She turned out a really good friend.
As for Adam i really don't know what to feel... Sometimes i like him, sometimes i didn't!!!
The parents???? All of them, they sucked!!!

Oh!!! I'm so anxious for the rest of the books!!!

I want Sam so badly with Mason!!!
I fell in love so hard with him!!! It's from that guys which with one look of them, turn you on. The power and the passion was running out from every cell of his body!!!

No wonder why Sam fell for him so hard!!!
I would have the same reaction if i was her!!!
The connection between them was so beautiful and strong and seductive!!!!

And i liked so much Logan's acceptance and his reactions in everything he liked or disliked!!!

Oh, man!!! That was freakin' awesome!!!

Tijan i just love you, girl... You get into me with your books!!!
Thank you for the good material that you've been feadind my mind!!!!

Holy High School Drama!

When Samantha’s parent’s divorce, she finds herself moving in with mom’s new finance and his two sons, Mason and Logan Kade. Samantha attends the local private school and the Kade brothers are gods at the local public school. They are worshipped for their performance on the football field as well as being every girl in towns dream guys.

Samantha faces a lot of drama amongst her friends and boyfriend Jeff as well as coming to terms with a lot of bombs mom repeatedly drops on her throughout the story. To the shock of all her peers and family the Kade boys take her under their wing and makes her one of them. Samantha finds true friendship and love within the “Kade fold” and stands up for herself time and time again.

The parents in this book are seriously messed up and make terrible decisions. With the love and support of the Logan and Mason, Samantha makes it through all the craziness.

Mason Kade’s is hot, broody and all out town god and is head over heels for Samantha. They have hot chemistry and I’m excited to see where their relationship goes in the next book!!

I think I've found a new guilty pleasure! Holy hell, I couldn't break away from this story! It was packed with catty girls, high school drama, shallow social-climbers and pubescent douchebags...And don't get me started on the adults! Yet, despite finding nearly all of them to be pretty appalling, I was completely addicted! What a ride!

I won't recap this one because so many others have done such a wonderful job already. I'll just say that this book was definitely worth it. I had my doubts, since high school melodrama gets old so quick, but I only wish I'd read this book earlier. Sam, Logan and Mason are great characters and I loved them almost immediately. The various parental figures definitely kept this story interesting, with their selfish actions and destructive behaviors.

Don't make the same mistake as me, by putting this one off. It is fabulous!

1/5 stars

I enjoy reading nice, easy, entertaining, NA books and thought this was going to just be that but I quickly found out how wrong I was.

I disliked the characters, I HATED the relationships (romantic or not) , and even though I didn't mind the writing it was only okay nothing special. Most importantly, this book made really uncomfortable 90% of the time...

This book is just a no from me.

4 Awesomely screwed up stars!

The first thing that comes to my mind when I think about this book is that these characters are completely messed up. And considering the amount of books I read and the amout of crazy characters with whom I cross, that’s saying A LOT. Nonetheless, I just couldn’t put it down.

description

Samantha has a screw up life. She has a shitty cheater boyfriend and cheaters girl-friends. And to top that her mom suddenly resolves to divorce her father and go live with another man. But nooooo, not just any man: James Kade, the dearest father of Mason and Logan Kade, the most popular and famous brothers in town.
Hot, sexy and rich bad boys either you want to be them or want to be with them.

description

Somehow they end up putting Sam under their wings and along the way, Mason and Sam start to grow feelings very far from “brotherly”. Which is not good considering that they soon going to be step-brothers.
But then again, their families are completely f***ed up, so it’s not that weird, considering all that happens inside it.

description

I can’t tell you more because this book is crazy. Crazy, I tell you. There’s always something completely screwed up happening. Almost everyone is a bitch or an asshole and the hole “high-school-secret-popularity-hierarchy” is in full force.
And the adults in this book are even more messed up than the teenagers. Talk about crazy folks!

description

So yeah, basically this book is awesome. Sam is awesome and really don’t care about anything that is thrown at her, Mason is hot in a discreet way and Logan is pretty sexy and cool too.
It’s a really addictive book and you just HAVE to read it. ;)

I'm a FALLEN CREST HIGH official fan.

MASON KADE

SAMANTHA

This is one to feed my Stateside fixation of American High school and I got my lot and more. Do not be fooled by the blurb and front cover this story is amazing from start to finish.

Drama, tantrums, trouble, cat fights, parties, mummy issues, daddy issues, mean girls, bad boys, love scratch that lust, best friends , fallouts, make up's, break up's the list could go on BUT to top it ALL off the author kindly gives us the Kade Brothers *double sigh and swoon* and a female character who had me smiling from page one!

I loved this book, it had everything and more. Great characters and more drama than most, if you like the sound of all the above - READ on ...
