From the #1 New York Times bestselling author of Just for the Summer comes a new playful yet deeply emotional contemporary romance.
There might be no such a thing as a perfect guy, but Xavier Rush comes disastrously close. A gorgeous veterinarian giving Greek god vibes—all while cuddling a tiny kitten? Immediately yes. That is until Xavier opens his mouth and proves that even sculpted gods can say the absolute wrong thing. Like, really wrong. Of course, there’s nothing Samantha loves more than proving an asshole wrong…
. . . unless, of course, he can admit he made a mistake. But after one incredible and seemingly endless date—possibly the best in living history—Samantha is forced to admit the truth, that her family is in crisis and any kind of relationship would be impossible. Samantha begs Xavier to forget her. To remember their night together as a perfect moment, as crushing as that may be.
Only no amount of distance or time is nearly enough to forget that something between them. And the only thing better than one single perfect memory is to make a life—and even a love—worth remembering.

Abby founded Nadia Cakes out of her home kitchen back in 2007. The bakery has since gone on to win numerous Food Network competitions and, like her books, has amassed an international following.
Abby loves a good romance, coffee, doglets, and not leaving the house.
(I work for the publisher.) I read the entire manuscript in two days because I couldn’t put it down. Abby is simply wonderful, and this new novel is another perfect reason as to why we all adore her here at Hachette. I can’t wait for y’all to read it! (In the meantime, make sure to pick up her new book, Just for the Summer!)
A UFO escape room, organic mustard, a VILF and ‘Come on, Eileen’… what more could you want from a romance story 🫶🏼
5 stars for Abby Jimenez. Every time I think she can’t outdo her last book she goes and creates something that equally pulls on my heart strings and makes me giggle so loud.
(Thank you NetGalley and little brown book group for the advance copy to read ahead of this book release!)
•Meet-cute •Forced proximity •Long distance relationship •Dual point of view •Cinnamon roll MMC •Complicated family dynamics (x2)
"None of the fear and worry I had was because I didn’t think it would work. The fear and worry was because I knew it would. I was going to fall in love with this man."
As with each of her books that came before it, Say You'll Remember Me quickly sucked me in. Abby's books are so easy to lose yourself in & nearly impossible to put down!
Xavier & Samantha are brought together by fate...by way of a rescued kitten lacking a butthole. Despite an initial clash of personalities and a slight lack of faith, there is definitely a spark. These two share a nearly perfect, and completely unforgettable, date...the night before Samantha is set to move back across the country. Their connection may be strong but will allllll the hurdles thrown at them be too much to overcome?
Abby's books always bring the laughs along with the tears, but this one does land on the heavier side for sure! (Check trigger warnings before you read it) Tragedy & triumph. Heart & hope. These characters and this story will be on my mind for a long time to come.
4/5 ⭐️ 1/5 🌶️
Thank you to Forever for a digital ARC of Say You'll Remember Me in exchange for my honest review.

And this cover! I love how she always include pets lol but I just realized this will be my 7th book by her. I can only hope this delivers most 🤞🏼
I’m used to Abby Jimenez book packing a punch. There’s usually one moment in the book that causes the tears to start to well, and it’s all downhill from there. This book was different—it felt personal.
To preface this review, I want to say that I was a teenage co-caregiver for my elderly grandmother with Alzheimer’s. Less than a decade later, in my early 20s, I was taking care of my middle-aged mother who suffered a stroke. Anyone who’s ever been in a situation where they’ve had to take care of someone who at one point took care of them knows how it is. While some who’ve gone through similar experiences might find this book triggering, I found it cathartic.
You could label this books with all sorts of tropes. Insta love. Long distance relationship. Grumpy/sunshine. Right person, wrong time. But it’s truly more than the sum of its parts. This book deals heavily in themes—of the commitment of love, of the importance of memories, of sacrifices, of all the complexities of life that can’t be handwaved away for an easy happily ever after.
Xavier and Samantha was a perfectly balanced match from the first page. If I had to describe their relationship with one word, its commitment. Their love was defined not only by the moments spent together, but the moments spent apart. I love them deeply.
5⭐️. 10/10 recommend. Can’t wait for you all to read it.
Thank you to Forever for the eARC. And Abby, for the tears ❤️
My brain - 🎶 Say you'll remember me standin' in a nice dress starin' at the sunset, babe, red lips and rosy cheeks, say you'll see me again, even if it's just in your wildest dreams, ah, ha 🎶
“It's weird knowing what's going to be in your end-of-life montage, as it's happening. But I already knew when my life flashed before my eyes, the best parts of it were going to be about her.”
I came home from a long week to the best bookmail EVER! I obviously had to stop and read it cover to cover before bed (naturally)… and this is truly @authorabbyjimenez at her best.
I hate to be such a tease since this is an April release, but I couldn’t keep my thoughts to myself!
Long distance, grumpy/sunshine with a fabulous meet cute, Xavier and Samantha were one of my favorite couples (I think I say that each time I meet a new Abby couple). As we’ve come to expect from Abby’s books, this story also packs a ton of emotion and addresses some heavier topics.
Truly another 6⭐️ from the Queeeeeen!
Thank you to Forever for an advanced copy. All opinions are my own.
I loved this book. It has that classic, Abby feel to it that I’m so partial to. I did everything I could to savor it and read slowly, but once you hit a certain point, this isn’t possible! Loved that Xavier was a vet! In many ways, my perfect guy! The way X obtains his dog…. SWOON. This couple had some real struggles to get through. They show a lot of tenacity! Sam’s mother has advanced dementia. It’s really sad to read about, but again—tenacity.
This book had much more of the sad parts of life in it than some of her others. It was BEAUTIFULLY done!
I was so honored to read this ARC. Thank you to Abby as well as Grand Central Publishing for the opportunity to read this!!
