JUST READ IT BESTIES PLEASEEEE ! I AM OBSESSED WITH EMMETT !!!! To the point where I wanted to be Blair 🧎🏻♀️ I just loved every single thing about this book especially how detailed everything was it truly felt like I was watching a freaking movie ! THE SPICE WAS TOP MF NOTCH AND HIS MOUTH UGHHHH (chapter 16 will live rent free in my head forever now🙂↕️) !!! He’s just all you’ll ever want in a MMC but the person who I truly admired thought it all was Blair. She went though so much bullshit but still managed to be the bad ass fmc that she is and I loved ever second of it !!! I can’t wait to read the next book !!!!!

Holy shiz this was a WILD ride. This book has a ‘DICKTIONARY’ with all the spicy chapters, I love that so much. 🤣 I thoroughly enjoyed this book. For a debut, it was so so good. I definitely recommend for all my dark romance girlies who love a tatted up dirty mouthed biker boy with murd£r on his mind that will go to the ends of the earth to protect his girl. 🖤

Emmett is completely unhinged, a walking red flag that drips confidence and infatuation with Blair, his 𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘵𝘭𝘦 𝘰𝘣𝘴𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯.
⛓️💥 Blair goes through some ish. She was tough as nails. Emmett has already endured so much trauma in his childhood and just wants to be loved. Emmett gave Blair the shattered pieces of himself to mend her own. There were so many twists and turns, the writing was very descriptive with no detail left behind. The plot was fast paced and kept me on the edge of my seat!
I need a Grimm book like yesterday, he is so unhinged (is he more unhinged than Emmett? Possibly, yes. 😂) I want to know all about his ‘little monster’ I can’t freakin’ wait!

I struggle to mesh well with FMC’s, some of them are just not for me but Blair? I FKN loved her. Her bad ass, strong willed character. Wow.

Emmett Blackwood, the absolute man that you are. I genuinely was put into a book slump from this book because I could not get this book out of my head, the plot was so well thought out and delivered, I was hooked the entire book from start to finish.
This book has you feeling all the emotions, it's a wild ride to say the least. The characters go through so much in this book and is very reminiscent of The Ritual and Haunting/Hunting Adeline (two of my favourites). It's as if those two books has a baby and this was the product of it, similar but its own spin. I loved this book and 100% recommend checking it out if you liked either of those two books.
Also, we have to talk about our daddy, Emmett Blackwood. Even has morally grey has he is (what more could we ask for 😂), he is so obsessed and in love with Blair, you know it hurts. He's a "burn the world for her" type guy and we love that.
I cannot wait to read the rest of the series, as I just know the other character books are gonna be just as good 🤍🖤

Where do I even begin?! How about that this is one of my top reads of the year, and this is a debut novel for this author duo!!! I am in awe. The story S.J. Ryder weaved was incredible. I 100% have a book hangover after reading this. Is it wild for me to say I can’t wait to read it again before it releases? Just send me an ARC besties. Blair and Emmett’s story Is NOT for the faint of heart. This is a true DARK romance, and I implore you to check the very detailed list of TWs that the authors have so kindly put together before anyone goes leaving bad reviews because they didn’t do their own due diligence by reading the list the authors made.
That being said, I ate this book up. I’m definitely a mood reader and will consume anything from light, fluffy, romcoms, to absolutely dark and depraved sh*t that I hope some of my friends never read.
This book had it ALL. I laughed, cried, sobbed, had heart palpitations, screamed, and ate my little heart out throughout this story.
I want to commend S.J Ryder on having the right amount of heartache to smut ratio, if that’s even a thing lol. Because midway through this book, ish gets DARK. Like I’m talking, I’m over here shaking, crying, I need someone to hug me dark. HOWEVER, there is no cliffhanger (T god) and we get the BEST HEA.

Cheese and rice i wasn’t expecting all that to go down.. but holy shit i loved it.
To be so ffr i didn’t know what i was getting myself into. I loved seeing the teaser Tuesdays pop up on my feed and i loved them. So i just knew i would love this book. Did i somehow miss the fact that it was a stalker romance? Yes. Did i love it anyways? Also yes. But i pushed past the stalker cringe and kept reading. And i don’t think i was ready for the pure fucking chaos of Emmett Blackwood. Trigger list is a mile long and i wasn’t sure what to expect.
What i got was a badass fmc who came out swinging and a mmc who has a huge soft spot.
When Blair was sold and found out she was pregnant… gutted me. When Emmett killed his way to her…. 😮💨 sheeeeeesh.
But we love an unhinged mmc over here and towards the end, Grimm captured my heart i think. Cause ya girl can’t wait for his book. 🤗

if you are looking for a dirty talking, possessive, stalker book boyfriend with a secret society empire and crazy friends who are down for everything unhinged, then this book is for you ❤️ please check your triggers because although we love a good stalker romance, this book has some very dark themes !!

the character development in blair was something i loved to see. miss girl really went THROUGH IT !! she is such a smart and strong independent woman who has grown during her time at blackwood university. from being just a normal, regular gal attended a super prestigious college on a full scholarship, to having her life flipped upside down when she spills coffee on none other than emmett blackwood. the second that they met, emmett instantly knew she was his and no one else’s. honestly the insta-attraction trope is my guilty pleasure and i eat it up every damn time 😩 mans really broke in through her room window and hid in the closet waiting for her. the things this man said had me so down bad, i swear i was reaching for my rose every chapter 🤤 he also brought her a good old bacon, egg, and cheese to class because he knew she didn’t have time to eat that day. like that right there … i already feel in love with him before but then he’s gonna go do that ? i want to marry him 🧎🏻♀️ when blair was then taken from him because of his father’s shady ass, he painted the damn city red looking for her. secrets were then revealed about his past which gave me such a beautiful mind fuck. emmett also reveals his past experiences to help blair heal. this made me absolutely sob ugly tears seeing what they both went through. i just wanted to hug the both of them 🫂
not only was i obsessed with both emmett and blair, i was so intrigued with the other characters as well. like grimm … i need to know more about him so bad omg. he’s so unhinged and is always looking to torture and beat some people up LOL !!! 😂 i also love how we got to see little easter eggs about the future couples in this series !! that. just makes me even more excited 🖤

4.5⭐️. At the beginning of this book I have to honestly say I didn’t think I was going to like it because the writing style wasn’t vibing but that changed as I got more into the story. Please check your trigger warnings because there is some dark, dark themes in this and it’s also gory which I was not expecting but it didn’t bother me. Emmett is the definition of touch her and d*e times 10. His obsession with Blair and how he stalked her the man is unhinged but he also has the sweetest heart and soul. They both went through some really tough and intense things at just 22 and 21 but they got through it with being there for each other. Blair grew up a lot throughout the book as well because she literally had to with what she had to go through and endure. It was really, really heartbreaking and it made me cry. I loved the epilogue and a glimpse into their future. DAMN this book was so good and I’m not a fan of dark college romance usually but I’ll be reading this series going forward! 🖤

When this book had a DICKtionary, I knew it was going to be spicy but I didn’t expect it to tear my kitty and my heart to shreds 😭🖤 Big Daddy Emmett is a boy OBSESSEDDDD. This obsession held no fucking limits. I loved this story so much. The secret society and dark academia vibes to the stalker and kinks. 10/10 absolute perfection.

This read had me all feeling ALL THE FEELS and ALL THE THINGS. There’s some very spicy highs that just…yum. But there are also some really dark, and I mean dark lows so check your TW/CW seriously. This is a top read for me and dare I say Emmett (MMC) has taken over the number one spot for my book boyfriends 😱. He definitely is the obsessive unhinged man us readers look for. But Blair (FMC) is not to be overlooked and man did I feel for her and love her so much the entire time. She was the perfect fmc for me and a nice balance to Emmett’s “flaws”. And then we have the boys (Grimm, Eli, and Jaden) and the girls (V, Aspen, and Lorelei). I promise you will laugh and love Grimm immediately. I know, I know… I already reviewed this book but it lives rent free in my head, plus I have read it about 4 times already. So I think it deserves 2 reviews.
To say that I love this book is such an understatement. I am completely and unapologetically obsessed with every aspect. The fact that I was given the opportunity to alpha, beta and arc read this while watching it grow into this masterpiece will live with me forever.
The spicy scenes have literally taken over my fantasies, the torture scenes are to die for and the bonds created make me want to live in this book.

My gosh. I received this Arc and was BLOWN away. It’s been a while since I’ve read a dark romance book that put me through every emotion possible. I adored both main characters in different ways. My guy Emmett just wants to be loved 😏. Everything was written so well. It’s also VERY SPICY. Whew. There’s a certain side character that I am FERAL over and hoping they get their own story! I don’t even know what I expected to read when I started but it wasn’t this. Holy shit, dare to say this might be my top read of 2024. The whole story was fucking incredible, I know we read smut but this was so much more. Don’t get me wrong BIG DADDY EMMETT DEFINITELY CAME THROUGH😮💨 and Blair, BOUGHT THE WRONG BITCH. She was everything, I absolutely loved her. She went through so fucking much well they both did but her fierceness and the way they wrote things in her pov was so fucking raw and real😭 I was in a trance the whole time reading this, I don’t even know how to review it properly. FUCKING READ IT. From beginning to end it’s a movie playing out in your head, the tension, stalking, obsessiveness, the plot twists, the TRAUMA, even the side characters were perfect, the ending, literally all the feels. I blushed, gasped, cried, laughed, screamed, screamed some more, threw up, cried, laughed, screamed again and all in that order 😂 a

Emmett is an absolute gem. He is a walking red flag! And he's just the sweetest if you like them possessive, obsessive, tattooed and extremely protective. Their relationship begins with him stalking her due to his obsession with her but she slowly falls for him. I absolutely love their trauma bond that occurs during the book. They both go through it and it's beautiful to watch them fall inlove and overcome what happens to them. I don't want to give anything away but man they go through it. I love everything about this book.
Emmett's filthy mouth, Blair's sassy attitude and the side characters are FANTASTIC. Blair gives as good as she gets and she doesn't let Emmett get away with anything. She calls him on his shit and I absolutely love their dynamic.

Overall I truly enjoyed this novel ate it up in a couple days.

There is nothing like a possessive stalker who sees your broken pieces and helps you put yourself back together and he loves you through it all. I mean what more can a girl ask for.
Pretty Little Fears is a dark romance novel so please check your trigger warnings.
But it has stalking, revenge,touch her and d*e, possessive MMC, secret society, dark academia vibes!
When I tell you the Spicy scenes were GIVING! I’m still all hot and bothered in the best way. I want and need more!!!
What Blair(FMC) endures and overcomes is heartbreaking and empowering all at the same time. I cried true tears for her and for how Emmett(MMC) catered to her every need. Yall that man was a Demon of a man but would move heaven and earth for his little obsession.

SJ has forever altered my standards when it comes to dark romances. This book was freaking AMAZING for a debut. I just want to thank these two amazing lovelies for letting me spam the hell out of their DMs 🤣🩷🩷
With the cliche (but my favorite) meet cute, Blair is new to Blackwood University and accidentally pours her coffee onto the campus’s heart throb, Emmett Blackwood.
And this man… THIS MAN… it’s obsession at first sight for him. His devotion and love for Blair progresses as the plot does too, and he falls hard, he falls so so hard.
This book is filled with lots of spice, love, and pain that will make you want to throw your kindle across the room. But it’s all worth it with the happy ending this couple gets.
I want to thank SJ for giving be this ARC. I found some new favorite
authors because of them 🥹 I’m soooo excited for Grimms book🤭

when I tell you this book was everything I want and need in a story. Got me right up out of my slump.
Biker? ✔️ Stalker? ✔️ Unhinged? ✔️
Emmett Blackwood could run me over with his car and I’d say pls may I have another. Blair is such a strong woman and I loved her so much.
This story will take you on a roller coaster ride of emotions. So grab your lube and grab some tissues cause it’s gunna be a bumpy one.
I don’t want to go too into it because I went in blind and just had such a blast figuring out everything. If you couldn’t tell I gave this infinite stars. Pls do yourself a favor and add this to your tbr immediately.

Woah this was one wild ride... but I loved it!!!😭 This book did get EXTREMELY dark at multiple times so definitely read the trigger warnings! The SPICE OMG. Absolutely loved every second of this. The MMC Emmett immediately becomes obsessed with the FMC Blair the second he lays eyes on her. She is sweet and innocent and he is 100% the black cat compared to her. He begins to call her his "little obsession" and I DIE. This book takes a dramatic turn of events but the healing that comes out of it is so beautiful for both Emmett and Blair😭 I loved this story so much and I can't wait to read the next books!!

HOT DAMNNNN this book was everything.
the spice, the obsessiveness the MMC had, the TWISTS...I was at the edge of my seat. This book seriously had it all. Blair gets a full scholarship to Blackwood university where she meets Emmett, who in return becomes obsessed with her, little does Blair know Blackwood holds some dark secrets which she will soon unfortunately find out for herself. My girl went through some crazy sh!t but she held her own through it all, and stayed strong. just like I knew she would & Emmett, ugh big daddy Emmett...he had me swooning. possessiveness and his obsession it was swoon worthy, and I loveeee touch her & o vibes. He can't live without his little obsession and he'd burn the world down for her, and he did just that. There were so many twists and bomb drops in this book, I was shook. It was everything I knew it would be and I HIGHLY recommend you pick it up and read it. I'm so excited to continue reading about other characters in this world, especially Grimm and Verena. I'll be impatiently

What can I say? Emmett Blackwood is psychotic that’s why we love him. I was OBSESSED with this story from the very beginning. There is nothing about this book that I didn’t like. This is my very first 5 star read for the year! The plot was perfect, and the spice was SPICY 🔥
It’s just *chefs kiss*! Thank you @sj.ryderauthor for writing such a masterpiece and blessing me with the opportunity to read it before it is released into the wild.
Y’all, you need to read this! If you’re a dark romance girlie then get on it! (Obvs check all of your trigger warnings before you begin your Blackwood university journey).

I absolutely loved Emmett and Blair’s story! This is a dark academia romance with a hot, little stalker. Emmett is obsessed! It also has lots of suspense and dirty, dirty spicy scenes. So hot! I can’t wait to read the next couple’s book!
