After a case of mistaken identity and an almost one-night stand, two stranded wedding guests have to find their way to their final destination together, in this riotously fun debut romance.

Ada’s little sister is getting married. Which should be a happy thought, right? But the once close sisters have been in a year long fight, the wedding is all the way in Ireland, and Ada is so broke that she just barely managed to get a ticket on a budget airline. And as if things couldn’t get worse, said airline just cancelled her connection. Which means Ada is stuck in London with no way to make it to the wedding.

Surely she’s hit rock bottom?

So, there’s no reason for her not to spill her heart out about the over-the-top wedding, her sister’s worryingly quick engagement, and the womanizing best man she’s dreading meeting to a handsome also-stranded stranger at the bar. Until she realizes the stranger is headed to the same wedding. Oh, and he’s the infamous best man.

Now, Jack and Ada must put their simmering attraction behind them to make it to Belfast before they miss the nuptials. But between flat tires, missed trains, and suspect hostels, Jack and Ada start to question whether their feelings are worth going the distance, or just a distracting detour along the way.

Wow! This brazen, entertaining, and chemistry-filled close proximity romance combines elements of "Planes, Trains, and Automobiles" with a wedding chase set in Ireland, making it absolutely addictive!

I was so close to giving five stars if there weren't so many setbacks, angsty drama, and past relationship baggage for both the main and supporting characters! The banter, explosive chemistry, and hilarious situations Ada and Jack find themselves in were brilliant. If their long road trip could be an independent novel without so much past drama, trust issues, and self-exploration, I might even declare it my favorite romance of the year. But there were necessary conflicts, the maturing up, and learning to love yourself before jumping into relationships approach which is well executed, but I still wish there was more spice than inner conflicts and angst. Their attraction is palpable, but their love story's progression is slow burn! You keep asking yourself why they don’t just tear each other’s clothes off instead of being stuck on people who never deserved their trust or hearts.

Here's a quick summary of the plot: Ada, a young tattoo artist who recently closed her business and is taking a break from her boyfriend Carter (his decision after an 8-year relationship), finds herself carrying a special veil for her sister’s wedding in Ireland. Unfortunately, due to passport issues, she couldn't catch her family on time and is traveling alone, still checking her phone to see if her ex-boyfriend has reached out after her store's bankruptcy.

When her flight gets canceled, she finds herself at a London hotel lobby with a useless voucher from the airline, broke, with nowhere to sleep. She's bombarded with texts from her sister asking her whereabouts and on the verge of a breakdown, when a tall, handsome stranger offers her a drink until the rain stops.

The handsome stranger, Jack, is also heading to a wedding as the best man. Ada confides in him about not wanting to attend the wedding and her doubts about the groom, as well as her disdain for the groom’s womanizer best man (calling him a “pig”). Jack, in turn, questions the bride's intensity and their happily ever after.

After a few drinks, Jack offers Ada to share his room since she has nowhere to go. However, when they reach the room, Ada realizes he doesn’t just want to share his room but also his bed for a one-night stand. When they both get texts from the airline at the same time, they realize they’re heading to the same wedding. Jack is the womanizer pig her sister warned her about! Jack then makes an offer Ada can't refuse: to travel together using a ferry and train to reach Ireland, with all expenses paid by Jack (a hotshot lawyer with enough funds).

Beggars can't be choosers! Even though Ada is torn between punching him and kissing him passionately, she aims to reach the wedding destination. She can resist his charm for one day, can't she? Maybe she should rethink this as the sparks keep flying!

Overall, there are great themes like sharing the same bed and faking a marriage, which spice up the chemistry and heat up the chapters. Despite the past relationship baggage, I loved the conclusion and the characters’ final growth (including supporting characters and teary sisterhood moments). I wish the epilogue was a little longer, but the final witty line was well executed and smart!

I truly enjoyed this self-exploration, high-chemistry, forced proximity romance despite its extra angsty moments, and I'm looking forward to reading more works from the author. I’ve already added her to my auto-approved romance authors’ list.

P. S. :I’m definitely craving a Neapolitan pizza right now—checking flights to Naples!

Ahh this was a really good and fun romcom. I loved most of the aspects of it especially the dash for the bridesmaid and groomsman to get to the wedding in Scotland on time. The fmc is rushing to get to her sister’s wedding on time since she has the veil. The fmc meets every obstacle possible with cancelled flights, missed trains etc. she meets the mmc after he sees her stranded and they get dinner and almost have a one night stand. She learns that he’s her sister’s fiancé best friend and they make a pact to get to the wedding on time together.

Both mc’s were clearly attracted to each other but the fmc has a boyfriend and even though they are on a break she still hopes to get back with him. The mmc is not into long term relationships and they both become closer and question their previous relationships and beliefs. I loved how fast paced the book was and both characters were cute as friends and when they finally got together. This is a slow burn and it’s steamy when they finally get together. Thanks to Berkley for this arc for an honest review.

I had my eyes on this book for months - I loved the cover, the blurb spoke to me and, if I’m being honest, I will read anything where the FMC is named Ada.
Full RTC but this is a perfect book for fans of Jessica Joyce or Livy Hart. It’s bright and funny. It’s sweet and heartfelt. I read it in one sitting. I loved every single thing about this book - definitely one to watch when it releases in January!

OMG THE COVER IS SO CUTE!

I was lucky enough to beta read for the author, and I ADORED this book. The writing is brilliant, fresh, and funny, and so many of the lines will live rent-free in my brain for the rest of eternity.

Recently single Ada is trapped in London after her connection to Belfast is canceled. There, she meets a handsome stranger named Jack who she plans to never see again, which is why he is the perfect person to vent to about her sister's over-the-top wedding. At least, until she discovers they are going to the same wedding... and he's the best man.

Forced to work together, these two have to find a way to get to the wedding on time. But along the way, they discover the hardest part of the journey might just be navigating the undeniable attraction mounting between them.

This is a stunning debut, and I can't wait to read Heather McBreen's next masterpiece! She'll be an "automatic buy" for me from here on out.

Features: only one bed, a road-trip, strangers to lovers, a destination wedding at an Irish castle, post break-up purple hair, a brooding love interest, a special "baby making" blanket, and a way too enthusiastic innkeeper

What a fun debut!

After a case of mistaken identity and an almost one-night stand, two stranded wedding guests have to find their way to their final destination together. Ada is headed to her younger sister's wedding, and despite their strained relationship (and her ultra-budget ticket), is determined to make it there.

While bemoaning her plight to a handsome stranger at a hotel bar, Ada and said stranger -- who turns out to be the infamous best man in the wedding -- reluctantly agree to plane-train-automobile it to the wedding together. But of course, it's not a straight course and tempers and attractions flare. YUM.

I've never been a huge fan of the one-night-stand trope, but I enjoyed Ada and Jack's characters, and I LOVE a road trip journey. It was fun to watch the two work through their journey, both personally and as a duo. A quick, funny, steamy read.

Thank you to Netgalley and Heather for the e-ARC in exchange for my honest, unbiased review! WEDDING DASHERS is out 1/28/25!

This is an insane debut from Heather McBreen. If you enjoy banter in your romances (bonus points if you like millennial coded banter, I know I'm getting oddly specific here... work with me) this is going to be the book you RUN not walk to pick up first thing in 2025.

I can only describe the humor of this book to be slap-the-person-next-to-you level of funny. At one point my face was hurting from how hard I was smiling unknowingly. Oh and if you think this book is just going to have the fun vibes, I am here to tell you that this book unpacks eldest daughter syndrome like it's one of those good cry therapy sessions. Get ready to spill tears and get your hearts shattered. I didn't expect the book to have such emotional moments, but the author does an amazing job weaving it through the main story without overburdening the reader.

The pacing in this was great and seeing the evolution of the relationship between Ada and Jack through the forced proximity of a very unlucky European road trip was the perfect fun balance to the raw, emotional moments. Say what you want about third act breakups, but the execution of this one was so great it made their whole relationship believable. The spice only adds to the relationship between the two and it was a good slowburn that made this thought-provoking book also deliciously spicy. I will be checking out everything and anything Heather McBreen publishes and I can't wait so see what more she has in store for her readers!

Recommend if you enjoy:
- a romance COMEDY, with laugh out loud banter that ignites the couple chemistry and insane descriptions (smart water bottles will never be the same)
- forced proximity with a fun road trip vibe where everything that can go wrong... goes wrong
- slow burn, multiple one beds, one car, one train
- looking for a little trip through Europe that makes you wonder... do you believe in fate?

I loved everything about this book, from the premise, to the setting, to the writing.

The tension inducing banter left me screaming. The atmospheric writing totally sucked me in. It felt like such an effortless read. We all know that that’s not the easiest thing to do, but Heather totally killed it.

Between trains, planes, and old beat-up cars, one-bed stopovers, and all the intimacy forced proximity brings, this made one helluva journey for these two—in more ways than one—and I enjoyed every second of it.

I laughed so hard. I was kicking and squealing and texting people trying to convince them to read this book, and it’s not even out yet. I cried!!

This was so good. Thank you so much for the ARC!

The way I ATE this up!! I could not put it down. Jack and Ada had me in a chokehold like no other.

Ada is on her way to her little sister’s destination wedding to a man she barely knows when she gets stranded in London. She’s just been turned away from a crummy hotel when she runs into Jack, her soon-to-be brother in law’s best man. The two make a mad dash to Ireland for the wedding, and everything that could go wrong, does go wrong.

One bed, forced proximity, witty banter, European setting, and roadtrip vibes all contribute to making this a super fun rom com!! Not only is it funny, but it is absolutely tear jerking 🥲 I was so invested in Jack and Ada that I was in literal TEARS by the last page.

Thank you Heather McBreen for this masterpiece, and thank you NetGalley and Berkley Romance for the eARC!!

I am very picky about the romantic comedy I read. I tend to stay with big names, and this would have flewn under my radar. But I was sent a review copy, and I was so glad I read it. Heather McBreen is now on my watch list.

I love the characters in Wedding Dashers, Ada and Jack obviously. But her sister Allison, and fiance Collin really had me concerned. And of course MOM was so funny!

I really like that Jack and Ada had adult conversations and made adult decisions. But still somehow ended up having very bad luck!

Thank you Berkeley and NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review this book!

A hilarious, heartwarming debut that takes you on a wild ride (literally!).

I've been lucky enough to read multiple versions of this book. Each read has blown me away. Heather's voice so fresh, and had me cackling one minute and swooning the next. It's a true romcom, with the tropes and wild situations that we all love, wrapped up in Ada's compelling character arc and a relationship arc with Jack that had me blushing, squealing, and kicking my feet. It's incredibly re-readable, with new jokes and insightful passages to discover each time.

I have loved every second spent with Ada and Jack and can't wait to see what Heather gifts us with next!

Ada's layover in London turns into a disaster when her connecting flight to Ireland is grounded and the hotel won't accept the voucher from the discount airline. With life already a hot mess, Ada has not a whole lot to lose when a random guy in the hotel bar offers to share his room. A misunderstanding and identity reveal proves him to be Jack, the best man of her sister's wedding and a regular Casanova.
Great cast, great setting - I adore a good travel romance. My only hang up to this book is that all of the threads weren't tied into definitive bows (like the VIP veil, for example). Heather did an incredible job with how she wrapped up the romance where it left room for believability rather than insta-love which can be hard to wrap my head around. The cyclical humor really got me laughing throughout. I think Heather will be an author to watch and I'm really interested to see what she does next!

Ada's little sister is getting married in Ireland, but with a year-long sisterly feud, a drained bank account, and a cancelled flight, Ada is stranded in London with no hope of making it on time. Venting to a charming fellow traveler at the bar seems harmless—until she realizes he's Jack, the notorious best man she's been dreading.

Now, Ada and Jack must endure a chaotic, obstacle-riddled journey to Belfast. But as they tackle flat tires, missed trains, and shared secrets, their unexpected chemistry has them wondering: is this connection a fleeting detour or the real destination?

ᴍʏ ᴛʜᴏᴜɢʜᴛꜱ:
This book was fun from start to finish! Starting with mistaken identity, and then a bit of miscommunication & misconceptions, followed by friendship and ultimately FEELINGS?! It was so good.

The banter was top notch. The spice was really well written (& I’m not a huge spice girl). And while this could have felt “insta-love”-y as the whole book essentially takes place over a long weekend, with everything else happening you understood why they were falling so fast.

The ending GOT ME. I don’t think I’ve ever actually loved & appreciated a third act breakup until now. When you read it, I think you’ll know what I mean. Just go preorder it now, and thank me later.

Wedding Dashers was the cute and banter-filled romantic detour I needed.

Ada is on her way to her little sister's wedding in Ireland when everything goes wrong. Her connecting flight to Belfast is cancelled, she's stranded in London, in a hotel that won't accept her voucher, her bank account is bottomed out and encroaching single digits, and she's just broken up with her boyfriend of eight years. What's a girl to do in such a hopeless scenario?

As it turns out, sharing her woe with a handsome stranger in a hotel bar may be the perfect solution. She'll never see him again, so what does she have to lose? However, things get complicated after their almost-hookup falls apart and they realize they're attending the same wedding. For, not only is Jack the best man, and a supposed womanizer to boot, but he may be her only hope of getting to her sister's wedding on time. So whether it's from missed trains to flat tires, or from locked bathrooms to ripped wedding veils, Ada and Jack are stuck in a mad dash to reach Ireland together. With attraction mounting between them, will their feelings be able to go the distance or are they mere a pit stop along the way?

A fantastic debut! I love detour romcoms, where the main pairing must travel together in forced proximity and encounter obstacles along the way, but what I liked about this one in particular is Ada and Jack were both coming out of their own relationships, trying to pick up the pieces. There was a post-breakup chaos about this - from Ada's purple hair, to Jack's cynical views on marriage - that made it both fun and unexpectedly moving. The story was as much about self-exploration as it was about attraction, romance, and the right timing. Absolutely delightful!

Many thanks to NetGalley and Berkley for the ARC in exchange for my review.

Wedding drama, travel nightmares, and unexpected romance - this book has it all!!

Ada’s life is a mess. Her little sister is getting married in Ireland, and what should be a joyous occasion is overshadowed by tension between the siblings. To make matters worse, Ada is broke, barely managing to scrape together enough money for a budget airline ticket.

Just when she thinks things can’t get any worse, her connecting flight gets canceled, leaving her stranded in London with no way to reach the wedding.

She vents to a handsome stranger at a bar about the wedding, her sister’s rushed engagement, and the notorious best man. The stranger turns out to be none other than Jack, the best man himself.

Ada and Jack are forced to team up to make it to make it in time for the wedding.

Are you kidding me?! How was this her debut novel? This book is right up there with all of my favorite romance novels. It had such a happy ending, and the journey to get there was so fun!

I especially loved how both characters grew by the end, but Jack’s development stood out to me the most!

The slow burn was perfect—just the right amount of tension to keep me hooked without dragging things out.

Everything about this book was a 5 star read, from the witty banter to the sweet moments!

I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a good slow-burn and is looking for one of their new favorite romance novels!

Thank you to Berkley Publishing and NetGalley for the ARC of Heather McBreen's Wedding Dashers; this one is a riotously fun romantic adventure that delivers laughs, heartfelt moments, and a swoon-worthy story! When Ada's flight connection is canceled en route to her sister's wedding in Ireland, she finds herself stranded in London with a handsome stranger. After sharing a hilarious heart-to-heart at the airport bar, she's horrified to learn that this attractive man is none other than Jack—the infamous best man she's been dreading meeting.

From there, Ada and Jack's journey is a nonstop ride of mishaps, close calls, and undeniable chemistry. With every missed train and a flat tire, their shared adventures bring them closer, revealing Jack's hidden depths and Ada's vulnerability beneath her sarcasm. Jack is the perfect blend of charming and unexpectedly thoughtful, making it impossible not to root for him.

It's hard to believe Wedding Dashers is McBreen's debut! She has an incredible knack for creating characters you can't help but root for and perfectly balances humor and heartfelt moments. Her writing sparkles with warmth and emotional depth, taking readers through the Irish countryside with two unforgettable characters. This is an absolute five-star read—a feel-good romance packed with laugh-out-loud moments and genuine emotion. If you love a story where the journey to love is just as fun as the destination, this one's a must-add to your TBR! Bravo, Heather—I can't wait to see what you write next!

Ada is traveling abroad to her sister’s wedding when everything goes wrong. Her handsome would-be one night stand turns out to be the womanizing best man she’s been warned about named Jack. When they are unable to get a flight to the wedding, they decide to travel together by train and ferry to make it on time to the wedding even though they can’t seem to get along at all. What more could possibly go wrong? As it turns out, quite a lot.

This was such a fun-filled escape! I loved all the tropes in this book: enemies to lovers, forced proximity, only one bed, road trip, and fake marriage (only for a night). I loved the travel aspect too as I have been to many of the places mentioned. The banter was top notch and even though they weren’t really enemies, they definitely got on each other’s nerves in the beginning. It’s definitely a slow burn, will they/won’t they type of romance, and I enjoyed the bits of tension and spice but would have loved even more. Overall, I was so surprised that this was a debut because it’s so well written and I can’t wait to read more from this author! I’d encourage my fellow romance readers to pick this one up- it’s absolutely adorable!

Thank you so much to Heather McBreen and Berkley Romance for the arc and opportunity to be an early reader and reviewer.

Heather McBreen's debut romance, Wedding Dashers, features two attractive but damaged protagonists who engaged me more as the story advanced. It's a high-concept plot, as Ada and Jack meet in a London airport after their flight to Ireland is cancelled. It takes them a little longer than it takes the reader to realize that both are heading for the same wedding--Ada as sister of the bride and maid of honor (and carrying her sister's treasured veil) and Jack as the groom's best friend and best man.

Ada is the first-person narrator as the two must overcome roadblock after roadblock to get to Belfast before the wedding (and hopefully before the bachelor and bachelorette parties), even though they are expected days earlier. You could call it a meet-cute, but each of the pair has issues to be worked out. We know that Ada and her boyfriend of 8 years are "on a break," and she is currently unemployed, but we don't find out until later what Jack is dealing with. And although there is clearly a mutual attraction, these issues are too pervasive to allow an unfettered romantic relationship.

I enjoyed getting to know Ada and Jack as the plot progressed, and it was the little details about each that won me over.

My review is based on a complimentary pre-release copy of the book.

27-year-old Ada has had some bad luck recently, she lost her job and boyfriend, lives on her parents' couch and now her flight to Ireland has been postponed to the next morning. She should be in Ireland for her sister's wedding. Plus the hotel voucher she got from the airline is expired. As she tries to figure out what to do next, a handsome man Jack offers to get her a drink. Over drinks, she complains about her sister's rushed wedding and the womanizing best man. Jack is also going to a wedding and complains about the judgmental bridge and how their marriage won't last. After mixed signals lead to an awkward encounter, they both realize their flights have been canceled and they're attending the same wedding. Jack is the womanizing best man Ada's sister has complained about! Ada and Jack spend the next few days traveling to Ireland by train, ferry, and car. As they get to know each other, they start to have feelings for each other but neither is at a good point in their life for a new relationship. What will happen between Ada and Jack? I loved Wedding Dashers! This was such a fun and cute book to read while traveling. I really liked how layered the characters were. I adored Jack's character and how the author portrayed him. It was refreshing to see a male lead that's not perfect and gets the help he needs. I thought McBreen did a great job balancing his character. The sewing and zebra mask scenes with him were funny! I thought Ada was a charming and hilarious female lead. I liked that she wore her heart on her sleeve. Her character and relationship arcs were well done. I liked how confident Ada became as the story progressed. Ada and Jack's relationship was EVERYTHING. Their banter and chemistry was executed perfectly. I liked how McBreen used forced proximity to develop their relationship. The one bed scenes were written nicely. I also thought the setting was immersive and the ending was wrapped up smoothly. Overall, this was an adorable and fantastic read! I didn't want the book to end. Thank you to NetGalley and Berkley for the ARC.

I can't believe this is a debut!!! Seriously, how was this so good? You will soon tire of me talking about this book because I won't be able to stop. It's one of the best romances I have read in some time. Fans of Jessica Joyce will love this one.

Wedding Dashers is a beautiful blend of banter, shenanigans, humor, emotion, past trauma, and mental health advocacy. I loved Ada and Jack. I felt their chemistry from the first moment they were on the page together. They were funny, sweet, and sexy. Both characters were well-developed, with depth and fleshed-out backstories. I love that they spoke to each other like adults.

The side characters were great and added to the story. I loved Ada and her sister, Allison.

The plot was fun and gave me Planes, Trains, and Automobiles vibes. It was a clever plot device to force the characters into forced interaction and fun mischief.

I highly recommend you pick this up when it releases in January 2025.

Not going to lie, this book and I started off on the wrong foot. I thought Ada was unsettled and immature. But as I kept reading, I realized it’s because she didn’t know who she was or what she wanted. She felt like me.

When you’re the eldest daughter in a family, you’re the decision maker, the one who looks out for others. Those two factors don’t leave much space or time for curiosity and the realization that you’re more than someone’s sister or daughter or partner. You’re more than a care taker. You’re an individual with needs, wants, dislikes, and you’re deserving of joy. And you see Ada’s growth as sometime in their late 20s; which is an accurate reality for many.

Heavier topic aside:
* The pacing of this book had my full attention. The pace was quick when warranted and slower with intention
* Jack x Smartwater (use your imagination)
* If you want slow burn, you’re going to get it here
* The humor is more slapstick-esque

If you’re looking for a fun, lighter vacation read for any season, pick this up when it comes out January 28, 2025! Big thank you to Berkely for this ARC!

Why oh why did life get in the way of me being able to finish this absolute gem of a romcom? I would have finished it in a day or two had work and kids not been so dang needy.

In a meet cute to end all meet cutes Ada and Jack encounter one another in the lobby of a London hotel, both stranded after their respective flights have been cancelled. After some very heavy flirting, they head upstairs for a little more action.

It’s about to be on when they come to the shocking realization that they were headed to the same wedding…to be the MOH and best man, and both of them had told their people that they were rushing into marriage. Awkward. 😬

What comes next is a whirlwind of travel mishaps, witty banter and so much chemistry that there’s going to be an explosion. 💥 From getting locked in a public bathroom to missed trains to baby making blankets and flat tires - this book delivers everything I look for in a romcom.

📖📖 Book Review 📖📖 It’s been well over a decade since I have been in the wedding scene but I can vividly remember the high stress (and of course, joy) of it all and Heather McBreen captures it in a hilariously delightfully manner that almost makes me want to go back and do it all again! As Ada and Jack, two strangers who meet at an airport, both encounter comical bad luck as they attempt to make it to weddings (or as they quickly find out, the same wedding), the twisty, ironic plans of the universe come into play in this absurdly funny and heartwarming rom com. Told in an hourly countdown to the modern wedding equivalent of Armageddon, Wedding Dashers will have the reader laughing out loud in a way not many books can. Refreshingly, unapologetically raw and relatable, Heather McBreen delivers one of the best reads of the year, no doubt a five-star read!

A RELENTLESSLY funny, delicious, tension-filled debut! I fell so in love with WEDDING DASHERS. It was precisely my kind of deadpan, sharp humor, and I was laughing out loud a disturbing amount. Heather has crafted such a strong narrative voice in Ada, full of humor, but also so much tenderness and heart, with gorgeously drawn subplots about sisterhood and not settling in life. Ada and Jack’s love story is a slow, aching burn, but the narrative is perfectly paced, and I flew through the pages. And when they finally get together…let’s just say it’s well worth the wait! Ooof. Fans of Sarah Adler, Jessica Joyce, and Abby Jimenez will go absolutely feral over this charming, sexy road trip romance, and I literally cannot even wait for Heather’s next book.

Wedding Dashers is a hilarious romantic comedy with all the vibes of Leap Year (one of my favorites)!

When Ada’s flight gets cancelled, she’s forced to travel to Ireland with the snarky, womanizing best man, Jack. He doesn’t believe in marriage, thinking people are destined to grow apart. She fears she wasted 8 years on her ex, who convinced her to give up her own opportunities for him. And did I mention Jack and Ada hate each other?

They kick off their road trip on bad footing, and the hijinks along the way are laugh-out-loud ridiculous. But with the flat tires and hotel mishaps come a lot of sweet conversations and angsty romance. I love the way Ada grew over the course of the novel and discovered what she really wanted.

Many thanks to NetGalley and Berkley Publishing for the ARC in exchange for my honest review.

I finished this book in two days! It’s full of adventure, romance, and a journey of self realization and growth. I had the best time getting to know Ada and Jack. They were such believable and real characters, both having their own issues and trying to navigate a new chapter of their lives. With something new around every corner, this book just kept giving and giving.

The writing itself was stunning. There were so many quotes that stuck with me even after I was done with the book. From beautiful descriptions to hilarious thoughts, the words were woven together so well.

If you are a fan of early 2000s rom-coms, enemies to lovers, and travel then this is the book for you! A beautiful, funny, and adventure packed debut novel by Heather McBreen. I can’t wait to see what this author comes out with next!

This fantastic debut novel from Heather McBreen needs to go on your TBR shelf! Part enemies to lovers and part "Planes, Trains, and Automobiles," Jack and Ada have a meet cute and near hookup when their flight is canceled in London. Ada needs to make it to Belfast where her little sister is having a destination wedding in an Irish castle. When they both realize they are headed to and in the same wedding, the air gets really icy. Neither of them like the other. Ada has heard nothing but terrible things about Jack and is mortified that she has been so open with him.

There are so many funny situations and terrible travel debacles that will keep you in stitches as these two frolic across the UK racing to the wedding. Wedding Dashers is a TRUE romcom. You will root for Jack and Ada and also laugh out loud.

Thankyou to NetGalley and Berkley publishing group for the advanced copy of Wedding Dashers.

Ada’s been having a streak of bad luck - her longterm boyfriend ended their relationship just as her business collapsed. As she embarks on a journey to her sister's destination wedding at an Irish castle, her connecting flight gets canceled, leaving her stranded many miles away in London.

Broke and with limited options, she reluctantly teams up with Jack, a handsome fellow traveler who's also stuck. Jack, turns out to be the best man at the wedding, who's reputation as a notorious womanizer precedes him. With time of the essence, they must put any animosity aside and race through UK towns and cities, navigating by bus, train, ferry and even one broken down car to get to Belfast on time for the nuptials.

As they traverse a series of travel misadventures, their instant attraction develops into a close bond, prompting both to reconsider their life plans and whether there's space for each other in them. The brilliant mix of forced proximity, enemies to lovers, and roadtrip storylines, makes for a highly entertaining read.

This emotional and character-driven romcom by debut writer McBreen is sure to resonate with Emily Henry fans.

Thank you to Berkley Publishing Group and Netgalley for providing me with an advanced copy in exchange for an honest review.
