His Hunter felt like I was reading two different books.
The first 30% was exactly what I expected — omegaverse erotica with some fun kinks. The primal play was very hot, and had the whole book been about Ari’s heat I don’t think I would’ve complained.
After that a whole different book starts, and we’re thrown into this action-y/mafia suspense plot. Which was also sort of fun, but just so different from the initial vibe of the book you lose the romance completely. I didn’t feel Ari and Samson bonding, couldn’t feel their love with all the action and plotting happening around them.
So yeah, sort of fun but the two vibes didn’t really mesh well together and towards the end I was just bored and over it.

His Hunter felt like I was reading two different books.

Book safety, content warnings, and tropes down below.
This one didn’t work for me. Maybe the reason why is someone elses reason for loving it. The previous MM Farmer book I read was an erotic novella, which is fine but not what I was in the mood for this time around. It was longer and when it was advertised as romantic suspense, I jumped on it. And it is romantic suspense, but the first 40% was basically just another kinky, erotic novella. I was surprisingly okay with the kink, but it felt like it would never end. The MCs had no connection going into it, so all of the heat sex didn’t feel like it was building their relationship either. It just felt very repetitive.
When the suspense kicked in I was excited, but it turns out the next 50% of the story was just this one suspenseful situation really drawn out, repeating the same kind of situation over and over. The whole thing could’ve been avoided if it wasn’t for a conveniently left behind phone and an ex cop main character bringing a civilian into a criminal situation instead of going home and calling for help. It felt very contrived.
I love romantic suspense a whole helluva lot, so I know I can be quite critical. I imagine many readers will love it. Unfortunately it felt like the book didn’t know what it was supposed to be. I expected family intrigue, tension and lots of drama with the arranged marriage situation, but instead it was 50% boning and 50% running back and forth in the woods. A lot of omegaverse novels are high on spice and low on pretty much everything else, but I guess I had too many expectations based on the book’s description.
There were also some story and book universe inconsistencies that really pulled me out of the story.

The sex was good but the rest…. not so much. I honestly thought I would’ve enjoyed this more. Imagining Alan Ritchson as the alpha guy in this book was like the only thing that kept me going.

I am slowly getting more interested in omegaverse stories. I’ve read another one by this author and thought I’d check this one out too. I’m so glad I did as I absolutely loved it! Definitely my favourite book of the month so far! I’m sure some of the content will not work for others but for me there wasn’t a thing that I didn’t like, I was here for all of it!
I absolutely loved the concept of this story and the dynamic between Ari and Samson. I loved how Ari was able to find a safe space to work out his fantasies and Samson was the perfect one to do that with him. I really appreciated that even when Ari was acting out the CNC scenes he kept saying ‘green’ just to ensure Samson (and the readers) knew it was all still consensual. As someone who is not a fan of non-con this made me able to just let go and enjoy the scenes along with the MCs. Also helped with the degradation and humiliation that was included. It felt like it was just part of the scene so even though it’s usually not my thing I was ok with it in this instance, because that wasn’t part of their relationship outside of a scene.
I loved how fiercely protective Samson was of Ari! Maybe he did some things during the action that probably wasn’t the best but he always had the best intention and made sure he protected Ari no matter what. I loved their wonderful HEA!
I am really excited to read the next book in this series about Ari’s friend Hayden. His story sounds amazing! I hope if you give this one a try that you love it as much as I do!

Came for the dark, spicy Omegaverse story, stayed for the fast-paced, bonkers mafia story!
This started out pretty much as expected: an omega about to be married off arranges for one last wild week of kinky sex. It’s clear quickly that Ari and Samson are highly compatible and want more with each other but things get complicated when they stumble onto some shady dealings in the woods.
I had so much fun with this. It was exciting, sexy, and the twists kept me guessing what was going to happen next. I’m looking forward to more in this series.

Socialite omega has his marriage arranged by his wealthy parents to an asshole, decides to have one last fling, fulfilling all of his darkest fantasies. The first 40% of this book is fiiiiilthy, the filthiest Farmer omegaverse I've read so far, then it pivots to danger -- getting mixed up in a huge drug deal in the woods, being captured by his asshole fiance, somehow evading death. I was definitely speedreading through the danger parts wondering how they were going to escape, but it's ROMANCE, so of course they get their HEA!

Wow!! Primal play kink at its best. I think this was one of the most exciting primal play I have read in awhile. Samson and Ari was sooooo good together...you could feel their emotions while they played. NO way they could have come out of that not mated. I will say, I lost interest a little after their playtime was over and that cray cray mess with the drug runners and they had to run for their life came into the mix. It was just a little too much so it took me a bit to come back to it but I did. All I can say is that entire scenario didn't play out like I thought...not too bad so unpredictable but totally satisfying for the couple. Nice ending...totally will read Hayden's story next.

Taking her Bangers and Mash in a darker direction, this Omegaverse book sees rich omega Ari about to be married off. His friend Hayden sets him up with a last fling via a dating app, where he can enact his perfect fantasy.
He ends up meeting the wonderful Alpha Samson, a retired cop, but real danger lurks in the woods after their date.
This a fun switch from the normal series with a much darker edge, but it's still got the romance, the chemistry with added danger.

I tried this book because I loved the other Bangers & Mash books and adding kink to that sounded fascinating.
I stayed because after the heat was an amazing action-adventure movie!

His Hunter is the first book in the ‘Omegas After Dark’ series. It stars Samson, an ex-cop and Alpha, and Ari, an omega from a rich family. This is told in first person from both Ari and Samson’s povs.
The blurb does a decent job describing the plot so I won’t go into it that much. I do want to talk about a few other things. This series is set in the same world as ‘Bangers and Mash,’ and B&M is even mentioned in this story, although ‘Dark Fantasies Club’ is not associated with them in any way. What I did notice, was this series has the same feel as B&M. In this one, the set-up is the first one-third of the book is erotic, but then the final two-thirds of the book there is the criminal obstacle. In this series, the heat and the obstacle are darker than in B&M, but at the same time I found it humorous. I’m not sure if it was meant to be, but after Ari’s heat was over, everything after seemed to devolve into a comedy of errors. If a reader expected a serious detective/villain story, they’ll be disappointed because both Ari and Samson made serious errors. Ari because he thought he could free himself from a planned marriage to Clyve, and Samson because he wanted to protect Ari and he also wanted Ari to be free from a planned marriage. Since the two bonded during Ari’s heat, the two weren’t thinking clearly and it was like a feedback loop, with the addition of Samson’s desire to prevent another major crime from happening. Basically, hormones and their new bond addled their brains so they didn’t think straight, hence the dumb chances they took.
Now the cover. I’m not sure who the cover model is supposed to be. Ari describes Samson is big, tall, and broad. The cover model is not any of those, but I don’t remember Ari as being described as having facial hair. I don’t know who’s on the cover. I think the cover model doesn’t reflect either character.
Ari is destined to be married to Clyve; the Alpha son of a family even richer than Ari’s. Ari doesn’t want it. Ari’s friend tells him about the Dark Fantasies Club, and Ari decides to have one final fling before he’s doomed to a dull marriage. He and Samson end up bonding and Ari gets pregnant. Ari has been raised to be passive, told what to do and even what useless college degree to take. It’s only when he and Samson are in trouble with criminal activity near Samson’s home, does Ari finally stand up for himself. He chooses to protect Samson and their unborn child. Of course, Samson decides to do the same thing and soon both are caught. Samson has a kinky side to him that fits perfect with Ari. Mention of the growing bond between the two, made them believable as a couple.

The underlying subplot of the criminal world isn’t as dark as most dark books out there. It just touches on criminal activities to move Samson and Ari’s romance along. I’d say this story was more humorous with kink, rather than dark. I give this book, 4 Stars.

I didn't have a lot of expectations going into this book, though I have read the connected Bangers & Mash series by this author and thought there were fine enough fun reads.
This series is slated as darker and more intense version of that series, but with all the same rules and world-building of the other series.
Ari, an omega from an upper crust, super wealthy family, is slated to be married to the odious son from a family of similar standing. He chafes at the prospect of being a trophy omega spouse and decides to have one last bit of dark, kinky fun with a stranger. So he sets up a fantasy weekend with Samson, an ex-cop who's just moved to the area.
The book starts out with the promised darker spice: Ari's fantasy is consensual non-consent-based primal/chase play and he and Samson indulge in that right away. That's fun and definitely what I expected and wanted from this book.
However, then Ari and Sam stumbled across a crime deal going on in the woods near Sam's isolated cabin. They are both swept up in it and this part of the book is the majority of the page count. In my opinion, even though this section is technically "high stakes," it feels like the plot ground to a halt. Ari and Sam are now in embroiled in escaping, then taking down the crime syndicate involved in the shady dealings. This leaves no room for further progression in the relationship between Sam and Ari, which was already on a speed run. So whatever suspension of disbelief I had about the believability of their relationship is strained even further.
However, the reason why this book dropped from three stars to two stars happened right and the end, and it is 100% because the kink is not something I like AT ALL. There is mpreg in this series and it's on page and discussed extensively. I don't care so much about that, but FYI to anyone who's going to read this (the Bangers& Mash series doesn't have mpreg on page for most of the books). It's a lactation kink that is introduced and indulged in during the epilogue that I couldn't do at all. Soured me on the book right at the end.
Then of course Sam is an ex-cop and leans on that past in the book, which I don't like. I don't read books with cop/law enforcement main characters anymore, and I was disappointed that while he was no longer a cop, his cop stuff comes into play. But that's me and my personal boundaries around law enforcement.
I'm intrigued enough by Ari's friend who's introduced and the main character of the next book to continue reading the series. But I was disappointed by this one.

Twisted kinky (primal play!) thriller with a bonding/fated-mates sensibility
I enjoyed MM Farmer’s latest book, the first of a new series, Omegas After Dark, a spinoff of the delightful Bangers & Mash series, with kink and romantic suspense. Herein is another oppressed omega yearning for freedom and a bold alpha ready and eager to give it to him.
This does involve cheating, but not between the MCs; they’re with only each other in the book. One MC is engaged to a jerk (who is definitely sleeping with others too) but has never been with him (thank goodness, he’s terrible! Ew.). It’s a family arrangement of convenience between rich people. So for me doesn’t count as cheating. But be aware of that if cheating is a trigger for you.
Knowing Ari needs to live while he can before he signs his life away to the dull and awful arranged marriage, Ari’s friend sets him up on the Dark Fantasies Club app, where Ari connects with Samson, a new-to-the-area alpha who can deliver on all of Ari’s deepest fantasies—being hunted, chased down, bound and forced to breed (mainly!). And yeah…all of Ari’s wishes come true in technicolor and it’s HOT.
But there are baddies in the wings, and these two wind up connecting in ways neither expected then having to get out of a truly bad captivity situation for real. As fiction and reality blur, they’ve got to rely on each other to live…and claim a future together with the unexpected consequences of their fun in the woods.
Seeing the protectiveness come out in Samson and the yearning in Ari was delicious and rewarding, the read is hella fun. I could have done without Ari’s bragging about all the sex he had before this encounter, and the info that Samson has for sure gotten omegas pregnant via this app in the past and knows nothing of his own offspring (it’s passed off as the omegas wanted to get pregnant and have zero interest in who the alpha is/was/don’t want an alpha in their lives, but..! The lack of any caring, checking in to make sure all is well seemed a real miss for the character). But otherwise I ate the story up and will be looking for more.
HEA, dating-app to lovers, high kink, primal play, chasing through the forest into real danger and it becomes a romantic suspense. No cheating between MCs; no others on page at all. Recommended.

Just when you think MM can't, she comes up out of nowhere and proves that she fucking CAN. This book was soooo gooooood! It was everything promised (all the sweetness and omega-y-ness of Bangers and Mash plus some darker kinks and trigger warnings) and more (soooo much bonding and Feels and going-scorched-earth and throwing yourself in front of bullets and *fangirl swoon*).
I would have read this in a single setting if it wasn't for Life (sleeping, chores, work(ish), ect). And I'd continue sitting here without moving (or eating/drinking) if I had access to book two (that spoiler was too much for my mushy, angsty brain to handle).

Sam and Ari meet via an app, but it must have been fate who brought them together because they are perfectly matched. Their story has it all: extreme kink (primal play, bondage, breeding, etc), action, adventure, and swoony MCs. Despite being raised to be submissive and meek, Ari is strong and smart. He is the perfect omega because his strengths support his alpha and his family. He is just as possessive and protective of Sam as Sam is of Ari. Samson shows that a strong alpha can be sensitive and compassionate. His job is to protect and care for his omega and his family. These two are really amazing together.
I've read a lot by MM Farmer, but this was the first dark romance I have read from her. I loved her Bangers and Mash series, and this story is in the same universe, but much darker. A couple things surprised me on the kink side. First, there was no discussion of safewords. Sam is supposed to be experienced, but he never asked Ari to pick a safeword. They kind of default to the stoplight method without discussing it. Second, there was no effort to avoid pregnancy. It ends up being important to the plot, but I would have thought they'd definitely discuss that and try to avoid it. It's mentioned a couple times that Sam could very likely have kids out there that he doesn't know about because he's never worried about preventing pregnancy. I found that off-putting to say the least. Other than that, I really enjoyed the story and I look forward to more from this series.

MM Farmer gets darker in the woods
MM Farmer generally writes more lighthearted stories (Except see her Peter series if you like this book) and I’m enjoying the way she has taken the Bangers and Mash world. You definitely don’t have to have read the rest of the books the way I have but you might want to investigate them if this is your first foray into MM Farmer’s writing. She has a wide range of stories and I have loved every single one of them.
In this book she starts with Ari, the stereotypical omega who is being forced to marry an Alpha he doesn’t like. Then Ms. Farmer quickly drop’s in the unexpected, something she is very good at doing. Ari finds the “Dark Fantasy Club” which is just like it sounds like it is. Nudge nudge! He decides to have one last fling to satisfy his k1nks and connects with Alpha Samson who matches those k1nks. The meeting they have is so hot it nearly melted my iPad! I really appreciate the way that Farmer treats what Ari and Samson want and doesn’t shame either for wanting the things they do. She also has them emphasize that this is only for play and not real life and has her characters talking things out, before during and after. Especially with CNC (consensual non consent) there is a fine line between fun reading and ewwwww. Merry makes it fun for her characters and for us to read.
But of course a Farmer book would not be complete without some excitement or the adventure type and there is someone else in the woods. I won’t say anything about that except I couldn’t put my iPad down until I was finished the book because it was so compelling.
I absolutely love this book and can’t wait for more in this series. Please read the warnings and be aware that this book may not be for you. For everyone who is a weirdo like me then enjoy.

This is a new author for me and I am so glad that I was able to read this book. Take note of some trigger warnings but this does have a lot of kink in it too so you must be okay with that.
Ari is an Omega and comes from rich socialite parents. He is forced into an arrange marriage that he doesn't want to do but what other choice does he have. His best friend Hayden tells him about an app to fulfill his dark fantasy and why not try it out before he has to marry an alpha he doesn't like. He meets the alpha, Samson who is going to fulfill out his fantasy and arrange the meet-up. Samson has been waiting for an Omega like Ari, one who is just as dark & kinky like him. He loves the fantasy that Ari comes up with and makes it even better for him.
As Samson and Ari fulfill the fantasy, they both don't want it to end. Once it does, they both have a surprise that they weren't expecting to happen, well actually two. The connection that they instantly feel and the bond forming between them both, just goes to show how much each of them is involved with the other.
Neither one of them were aware that there was some evil people close by and they soon find out. Now more than ever they both must stick together and figure out how to get out of the situation. Samson's protective streak comes out in him and he will do anything to protect Ari along with Ari wanting to protect Samson.
I loved how this story was wrote and how it kept you hooked. I loved the primal play and all the dark kinky stuff inside. I love that this wasn't just about kink and actually had a plot to it. The author did an amazing job on it.

I thoroughly enjoyed this story but it just didn't quite reach 5 stars. If I could give half-stars though, I would. I hoped that Samson and Ari would end up together but had no idea how that would happen. What did happen is certainly not what I envisaged. Some of Samson's actions were a little hard to believe considering he was a seasoned cop used to bringing down drugs and trafficking rings. Still, it made for some good suspense so just suspend your beliefs for a while.
This was a great story that I thoroughly enjoyed. I can't wait for Hayden's story, which is next. If Dark Omegaverse Romantic Suspense with kinky fantasies is your thing, then I can definitely recommend this one.

This was my first from MM Farmer and only my second omega-verse read and I enjoyed it.
Ari is a wealthy young omega whose parents have arranged a marriage for him. With the wedding only a few weeks away, he seizes one last chance to create a memorable experience at the Dark Fantasies Club. There, he finds Samson, an alpha who can fulfill his primal fantasy. Samson, an ex-cop who moved to Barrington to escape the haunting memories of his time in the Missing Persons Unit, finds Ari to be the perfect fantasy partner.
This novel is exceptionally well-written, featuring strong characters and a plot that starts at a leisurely pace before quickly accelerating. I really liked both Ari and Samson and loved watching their relationship evolve and deepen from instant lust to genuine love. Their chemistry is palpable from the start.
The first part of the book focuses on the fantasy scene that Ari and Samson have agreed to. While it may not be to everyone's taste, it was fitting for Ari’s need to create a lasting memory before his future life begins. The second half of the book, however, is where I was completely hooked, reading it in one sitting. When the couple returns to Ari’s campsite and finds it trashed with his car missing, the story takes a thrilling turn.
I loved how protective Samson was and how Ari did everything he could to protect Samson in return. This is a captivating and engrossing book that kept me riveted to my Kindle.

I honestly absolutely loved the relationship between Ari and Samson and thought the chemistry and how they bonded was top tier. I loved seeing how they both experienced the pregnancy and when it happened and how it felt on both sides, from the Omega's perspective and then the alpha's. I also really enjoyed the bond and how they could feel and push emotions through and how painful it was when either of them got too far.
However.
The drama from like 40% and on was so completely unbelievable that I honestly started skimming. If you realize a drug deal is going down, ex-cop or not, why would you want to try and see who all the players are and perhaps memorize license plates for the police? The alpha who feels all these protective feelings just keeps pushing his pregnant omega towards danger so he can, what? Call in a drug bust? Yeah, not believing it one bit. Then how they KEPT GOING BACK TO THE HOUSE BECAUSE THERE WERE CARS THERE. The alpha was previously a police officer and honestly thought that the dudes patrolling the area and guarding the giant mass of cocaine would just.... not shoot a car if it suddenly started driving away? Like, what?
It was just so bonkers. I honestly wish we'd gotten more of the primal play, kinky times and them nurturing the bond rather than....whatever the middle section to the end was.

A very well written novel with strong characters & a story which starts at a walking pace but quickly turns into a run. I really liked both Ari & Samson & loved how their relationship changed & deepened from insta lust to love. The chemistry was there from the start. The first part of the book revolves around the scene Ari & samson have agreed to, which may not be to everyone taste but I was OK with as it was Ari’s fantasy which he needed so that he had the memory to sustain him in his future life. It’s the second half of the book which had me riveted to my kindle & I read in a sitting, things go pear shaped when the couple return to Ari’s campsite & find it trashed & his car missing. I loved how protective Samson was & also how Ari did everything he could to protect Samson. A captivating, engrossing book

A very well written novel with strong characters & a story which starts at a walking pace but quickly turns into a run. This is the first book in the Omegas After Dark series. This is the story of Ari and Samson. Ari is the only son and omega of wealthy parents who are using his as an asset for their gain. He is betrothed to the son of another wealthy family. Unfortunately for Ari, the son is an abusive jerk. Knowing that his life will be misery once he is married, Ari decides to treat himself to something that will help him get through it all. He signs up with the Dark Fantasies Club. Ari wants to experience primal fantasy of being chased through the forest, captured, and taken through heat in the most brutal way possible. Ari is not being reckless. The Club has been recommended to him by his best friend and fellow omega. Luckily, Ari is matched with Samson. Samson is a retired police officer. He has just moved to town to start anew. While working the Missing Persons Unit, Samson failed to rescue his last victim in time and has not gotten over it. It leaves a mark on his soul. This is their story. It is written well and is easy to read. While the beginning of the book has lots of kink and sex, the last half of the book has all the action and suspense. But overall the book is a romance so we know how it will end. You just have to enjoy the path it takes to get there.

I am a big fan of the Bangers and Mash series and I think this Omegas After Dark one will be just as good. Interesting, engaging, realistic characters with the Dark Fantasies Club to tie it together and an endless set of fantasies to drive the story lines has great possibilities for this new series.
Omega Ari is destined for a loveless arranged marriage but dreams of being hunted down in the woods and having his heat taken by a hot Alpha. When he learns of a way to have his fantasy come true, he decides to go for it before his chance is gone. He contracts with Samson, a former police officer, the date is set, the fantasy is fulfilled and is WAY more than Ari could have dreamed of, but there are surprises in store which weren’t part of the plan. When strangers are encountered in the woods, the dream fantasy turns into a nightmare of unexpected consequences, threatening his life and Samson’s in more ways than one. Lots of action, a bit of racing hearts and nail-biting, unexpected goings on and persons involved, and of course, the HEA to finish it off. An entertaining and engaging read with lots of spice kept me up until 2 to get to the ending. If you like MM Farmers books (one of my favorite authors), I highly recommend this one.

Well this was quite the adventure! I was expecting the steam and it was there almost immediately. Ari is in the awful position of being an omega being married off by his family. But he wants one last adventure before he settles down into married hell.
Samson has seen far too much of the dark side of people. Taking contracts for ‘dark fantasies’ is the only thing he wants to bring with him to his new life. And the contract with Ari ticks all of his boxes.
The primal fantasy played out very well, with a lot of begging, pleading, exclamations of mine and satisfaction on both sides. But it pretty much immediately becomes obvious that what these two have together goes far beyond the fantasy but how exactly do they find their happily ever after when Ari has to return to reality? What follows is an adventure that the two of them fall into featuring people that they could never have expected and with potentially life threatening consequences.
The story was well written and enjoyable, with a palpable chemistry between Samson and Ari and an engaging darker storyline. I have read previous stories by this author and was pleased to have read this instalment. It will be interesting to see how further entries in this series turn up the darker aspect of things.

I love the Bangers and Mash books but if you are looking for another fluffy omegavers series then this may not be for you.
This series is about very dark fantasies and also had a large suspense story line on top of it.
I must admit Ari's fantasy is a bit hard to stomach, everything is consensual but I found some of it a bit hard to read. Ari has one last night of freedom and he definitely goes all out to enjoy it. I love how he knew what his future hold and that his fantasy club was his only way to experience his true desires.
Samson is an "old hand" when it comes to Omegas wanting to experience their fantasies and he is a very caring and thoughtful alpha. The author writes her alphas well, not too softy but caring with strenght and possessiveness.
The fantasy/heat part of the story reads well, it your erotic heat storyline with the recognition that a bond is forming between these two despite knowing nothing can come out of it.
The suspense bit was less well done. It got drawn out a bit, some parts felt quite clumsy and Samson was described as a senior ex-cop so some of his actions were out of character and more like a rookie doing his first drug bust.
I would have loved to see more of Ari's parents, that part of finished of in a hurry.

I loved the Bangers and Mash series- MM Farmer writes such amazing omega/alpha pairings. I couldn't wait to read about this darker series. Great world building and wonderful characters. I loved both Ari and Samson. Ari was trapped in a soon-to-be marriage he didn't want to a very crappy, controlling, pervy alpha. But what could he do? He'd never get away and so far hasn't worked up the courage to try. I really liked the concept of the Dark Fantasies Club. It was perfect for Ari's wants. I loved Ari's friend's support and introduction to the club.

I really liked Samson and the chemistry between him and Ari was scorching. The fantasy scenes were fun. The tension of the upcoming marriage to Clyve was always on the back of my mind, and when they discover they aren't alone in that forest, the danger is more than they could have expected. An exciting story and excellent start to a new series. Can't wait for the next one! 5 stars.

So a visit to the Dark Fantasies Club is sort of a final effort to let him experience his ultimate fantasy before the unpleasant marriage to Clyve which will make acting on such fantasies impossible. Ari’s fantasy focuses on being chased through a forest by a powerful alpha, getting captured, and being under the control of the alpha as he takes Ari through a heat cycle unlike any other. The partner to make this fantasy everything he has dreamed of is ex-cop Samson, who is above and beyond what he had expected. But as they explore their fantasy, they find themselves in real danger when they realize they are no longer alone and now the real adventure begins . . . Can Samson keep Ari safe? Or is there an unexpected ending waiting for them?
There are things that make me uncomfortable in this story since kink is not a topic I enjoy. But this author is an amazing writer who can easily hold a reader’s attention and make the action and suspense come alive. That talent makes it a great story that you won’t want to miss.

Wow! What an extremely hot story! Not only is Ari being forced to marry someone he doesn’t love but every movement he makes is being watched when his friend Hayden tells him about a new app where his darkest fantasies can come to life he grabs hold of it with everything he has. He meets Samson, who is a retired police officer from across the country. He had been doing undercover work with the dark fantasies and rescuing omegas who had been taken to be used in Rich men’s harems. While they are in their fantasy. Ari and Samson have formed a bond through their time together and they know that they have created a baby. The time has come for them to separate and they don’t want to but know that they have to. When they discover that Ari‘s car is gone, they go and search . They come across some nefarious, dealings with drugs and cartels, and it all has to do with his forced fiancé and his family. Pretty soon they are fighting for their lives and eventually go towards there happily ever after.

Holy spiciness! This story just jumped right into the good stuff, and didn't let up for several chapters.
Opposite of many other stories, the halfway point marked a tense issue for the MCs, although caused by others. In most other cases, that'd be when we see the couple essentially discover each other. I was quite surprised with the level of action that occurred in the book, despite technically being called His Hunter--that only references the level of kink enjoyed by Ari & Samson.
The MCs worked off one another really well, and even knowing one another for a short while, their mating bond was strong and helped them face the dangerous challenges in the story. I'm really interested to see how Hayden's story plays out in book #2.

Ari was told by his parents that he had to marry Clyve to strengthen the two families in business. So Ari decided that he would have one fantasy before he got married on the website his friend Hayden told him about. Samson used to be a detective until he lost a client had been on that website using it to find people that had gone missing and agreed to Ari’s fantasy. When it was over, they went to get his car at the campsite but it was missing. Went looking for it and found it at a drug deal going down with Clyve being the head, they got caught a couple of times, but got away. Once they got a phone and called the drug deal going down to the cops and Win in the basement Ari took all the laptops and a lot of other stuff and put it in a backpack at the end gave it to the cops. Clyve, his father and the head of the drug deal got caught. Good book!.
