Love can be defined as “a quality or feeling of strong or constant affection for and dedication to another.”
They say “love wins,” for that to be true, we must embrace all types, especially those that have been otherwise underrepresented.
Ten authors have come together to make a difference by showcasing love in all its forms is limitless.
Limitless Love is an anthology full of different polyamorous stories with proceeds going to charity in order to showcase that if you fight for the life and relationships you believe in, then love truly does win.
Abrianna Denae is a queer author living in Northern California. An English major, they have always had a passion for writing. Deciding to sit down and write one of the many stories that had plagued their mind for years was the easy part—finding the time to do it was a different story. Caffeine is their best friend, and sleep is their worst enemy. A lover of books that make the reader feel something, Abrianna tries to incorporate as much of their real-world views and feelings into their stories as they can.
I truly enjoyed this book. It was quick, sweet, and swoony! Dex and Lock are married, but have an open relationship and possibly want to form a triad, with the right person of coarse. They're both gamers and have crushed on Avery, a game streamer who's soooo sweet and sexy. They start gaming together and become fast friends. They're all crushing on one another, but Avery has no idea and vice versa with the Dex and Lock. When they meet in person at a convention, they're desires cannot be stopped. These three gave me all the feels, loved their story and definitely recommend!
Triple XP is a MMM insta love romance with a hot nerd and a geek who fall for a cinnamon roll while playing an MMORPG. It has found family, age gap relationship, and lots of acceptance.
I was generously gifted the opportunity to devour Limitless Love and let me tell you, it pushed all my polyam buttons! I loved reading stories from my go to poly authors - Colette Davison, E.M. Denning and Elouise East, and then discovering new to me authors like Sage Abbott , Leigh Kenzie and MJ Green and finally discovering new depths to authors I've read something from but maybe not in a while like Abrianna Denae, Aurora Crane and J.L. Gribble!
Falling On Schedule by Sage Abbott was an interesting look at a couple's first steps into a poly am relationship contrasted with another couple who live a more open poly am and swinging lifestyle - it was interesting to get into each person's head and see what they were feeling. I also appreciated the trans rep.
Aurora Crane gave us an intriguing story where one man has had relationships with both other men, who have formed a connection and watching them explore the dynamic, clear up misconceptions and embrace their poly relationship was truly yummy!
Triple XP by Colette Davison - if you've read anything by Colette, you know that she writes delicious and insightful poly am stories and this one is no different - a couple who game together fall for the same man - a streamer who the connect with in game and out... and the added twist is Avery's love of fem lace and lingerie, pastel colours and make-up... which ups the yum factor of this story exponentially!
A Sweet Way to Love by Abrianna Denae introduces us to a poly am man who meets a primary partner and brings that man, who is struggling to find himself into his extended family in yet another different way of expressing Limitless Love - a beautiful look at the way family can be defined and re-defined.
Three's Cosy gives us forced proximity, 2x brother's best friends and a storm raging in and out of the cabin... E.M. Denning delivers another low angst, sweet and steamy story!
In another story about couples getting coupled up, What We Wished Four by Elouise East offers us the chance to watch a relationship bloom between a poly am man, his previously monogamous husband and their best friends... this was another fairly low angst and sweet story that proves being brave enough to ask can bring big rewards...
MJ Green's Not Without You was probably the story that stretched me the most - with 'mafia-like family' overtones, some dubcon, bisexual awakening and a ton of pining, this story brings 4 men together in a way that excites and challenges them. Honestly, if it wasn't part of this anthology, I might not have read it, but I truly enjoyed watching Pauli take his lumps and come to some startling realizatons.
JL Gribble's Towards Unity was a lovely short story that brings together three men who identify differently and shows them that together as three, they can meet all of their needs -whether it's by being a side, Aromantic or just in love with your two best friends.
Leigh Kenzie's entry, Balancing Each Other was another one that I might not have read if not for the anthology - combining some dark themes and kink, this book explored the ways that relationships are balanced, inside and outside of the bedroom... and well, there might be some vengeance in the mix..
Wrapping up the Anthology we have a PNR entry from Michelle Notaro... witches, vampires and fated mates oh my... helping Killian escape his past and introducing him to their relationship as a viramore... this was fast paced and the kitten familiar was adorable too!
Overall, if you embrace the idea of poly-am lifestyles in all their forms and iterations, you'll love the Limitless Love anthology and you may be surprised at just how much you love each and every story in the book!
A great collection of short stories that explore how love can be more than just two people. A truly diverse offering all for a great cause.
Falling on Schedule by Sage Abbott
This story has a different premise than I’ve seen before and it was nice to see some variety to the type of relationship in the anthology. Brandt, Merry, Jim and Cairo just work together from the beginning.
The Two That Got Away by Aurora Crane
Poor Keenan doesn’t think he deserves love but Drew and Evan don’t hesitate in showing him how much that isn’t true. This short story is both hot and sweet and is one I would love more of.
Triple XP by Colette Davison
This is a beautiful story that explains polyamory in one of the best ways. Paired with the friends to lovers vibes of Dexter, Lochlan, and Avery, you get a sweet romance told in just a few short chapters. Very much the perfect way to tell this type of story.
A Sweet Way to Love by Abrianna Denae
A different type of story in this anthology, this is a prequel to the author’s A Gentle Way to Love. Here, we get the story of Graham and Eric and learning how these two got together and how the polycule from book 1 forms is very interesting. It’s nice to see a different way of being poly, as it truly shows how limitless this form of love is.
There’s Cozy by EM Denning
A low angst brother’s best friends short story, this was cute. What happens when three people get snowed in? They have some hot tub shenanigans and get to know each other on a deeper level. It’s sweet and adorable.
What We Wished Four by Elouise East
Four best friends getting together is so much fun! These guys already have a connection, and when they take the next step there’s awesome communication and it was like they were always meant to be together.
Not Without You by MJ Green
A bit of taboo vibes for this story, this one is both oddly sweet for the author and needs a clue by four. It’s hot and while Pauli needs a good shaking, these four eventually get their act together. This is another story I wouldn’t mind seeing more of.
Toward Unity by JL Gribble
It’s so nice to get the “nerds” of the military. Other military books are great, but this one truly shows a different side and helps readers see what goes on behind the scenes. This best friends to lovers story is one of my favorites in the collection. Sage, Weston, and Val just work and navigate their relationship with trust and, eventual, communication. It was nice seeing some aro and side rep as well.
Balancing Each Other by Leigh Kenzie
This story about two assassins and the innocent who stumbles on them may seem like it stands out, but the love and poly rep shows why this is such a good addition. It adds to the diversity of the anthology while also giving us a good story full of sweet feels and healthy kink.
Our Sweet Vampire by Michele Notaro
The only paranormal story in the collection, this short is true soulmates. Finn, Killian, and Torin manage to find love and happiness despite Torin’s tragic past. There’s a lot of hurt/comfort and it was so nice to see these characters come together.
~Toward Unity by J.L. Gribble~ As soon as I started reading this I was immediately pulled into the story, I was completely captivated by these characters. Val, Sage, and Weston has been best friends since they were kids, they grew up together, followed each other into the air force, and now are back together after a few years apart. What I really enjoyed about this story is how it highlighted different sexualities, and it talked about topics that don't get mentioned much in romance books. For example; Weston's character is Aromantic, but still feels love for Sage and Val. Just not the same love in a typical romantic sense. He still cares for Sage and Val, he just doesn't feel, or get, the same romantic sentiments that others might feel and express. Something else that was discussed was Val's character not liking bottoming or topping. That's something that I personally haven't come across much in the books I've read. I think it's important for there to be characters like Val, and Weston, in more books because someone out there might be experiencing the same thing.
Val's character believed he couldn't be enough for Weston or Sage because he didn't enjoy bottoming and topping, and that's such a sad notion that people are led to believe. I'm glad this author highlighted that if you don't enjoy either of those things, that doesn't mean you can't have a relationship, you can, and you can make someone/s happy.
This might be a short story but it doesn't feel like one, that pace progressed smoothly. The characters were well developed and each had their own tone and personality. The relationship occured naturally after these characters openly communicated with one another, and the ending was beautiful!
Falling on Schedule by Sage Abbott A couple looking to add another couple to their relationship/explore, finds their perfect match.
The Two that Got Away by Aurora Crane Keenan and two former exes fall in insta-like/lust, with each other, and him. Drew and Evan have a connection. While Keenan doesn't feel he's enough, they won't let him get away again.
Triple XP by Collette Davison Dex and Lock are married gamers in an open marriage, looking at adding someone to their relationship to make it a triad. After searching they think they’ve finally found their perfect pastel unicorn in Avery.
This was my favorite!! A sweet found family, lots of love, and a HEA! 🩶
A Sweet Way to Love by Abrianna Denae This was a unique, and touching story. Graham had a tough life, and didn't receive the life and love he deserved from the family he was born into. Eric, who's part of a poly family, meets him and senses his sadness. This story was sweet, and shows the importance of found family.
Three’s Cozy by EM Denning - He's their best friend's brother younger brother. They're his unrequited crush. This was such a sweet story! Micah is feeling like a third wheel, his roommate is proposing to his girlfriend, so he heads out to his family cabin only to find his brother's best friends having a romantic getaway. Luckily for all of them, it ends up being just what they all we'd.
What We Wished Four by Elouise East A couple opens up their relationship for the first time to their best friends. While initially scared about opening up, and changing the dynamic of their friendship, this ends up being an amazing thing. Beautiful, beautiful story!
Not Without You by MJ Green This story had dark vibes, but worked out in the end.
Toward Unity by JL Gribble Three friends, a close bond with their military background, but secrets that keep them apart. This story was sweet, and it was lovely to seem them accepting how great they all were together.
Balancing Each Other Out by Leigh Kenzie 🥵 This was so good!
Our Sweet Vampire by Michele Notaro Paranormal love story with a HEA.
I was very excited to read this anthology since some of my favorite authors were part of it and there were some to be discovered authors. I'm not gonna lie and say I was expecting to love every story, usually with anthologies, there's a story or two that just don't connect with you. Well, I didn't have that issue here. I loved every single story in this anthology, I didn't DFN any of them. Yes, every story was about polyamory but it was not repetitive, like reading the same story over and over again. Each story provided a different aspect of polyamory, each relationship being unique to that coupling. It opened up my eyes to how polyamory is not one size fits all, but how there's a variety under that umbrella making it truly special and distinctive to the needs/wants/happiness of those involved in the relationship. The stories ranged from sweet and fluffy to a little dark (some possessive MCs/gray moral characters), but each one was written beautifully and worth reading, filled with so much love, trust, and communication.
The Two That Got Away is a short novella that is part of the Limitless Love Charity Anthology. The full collection includes stories from authors Sage Abbott, Aurora Crane, Colette Davison, Abrianna Denae, E.M. Denning, Elouise East, MJ Green, J.L. Gribble, Leigh Kenzie, and Michele Notaro. I was specifically offered Crane’s story for review, so that is the one featured here, but you can find the full collection of these polyamorous stories on Amazon.
Triple XP by Colette Davison This is the story of husbands Dex and Lock who love gaming finding their third in game streamer Avery. I loved their story. It was sweet, sexy, full of feels and very well written.
I love stories about polyamoury. Not just because I find it beautiful, but because it forces me to see love and relationships in a different light. And this anthology included a lot of stories that went beyond the throuple, which I see less of and really enjoyed.
The anthology also covers a bunch of different tropes which is fun.
FALLING ON SCHEDULE BY SAGE ABBOTT 4* A beautiful exploration of a couple looking to open up their relationship to be with another couple. I loved the way their lives intersected, giving it a bit of a fated feel. It was very honested and real, while also being sweet and sexy.
THE TWO THAT GOT AWAY BY AURORA CRANE 4* Keenan is sweet and in love with two men, but he doesn’t believe he can have either, let alone both. But he doesn’t have to worry, because Drew and Evan aren’t going to let that happen. It’s a fun mix of inst-love-ish, and never got over you.
TRIPLE XP BY COLETTE DAVISON 5* This one was bloody adorable. Married couple Dex and Locke have been looking for a third. They never dreamed their online crush Avery, a sweet gamer, would be a real-world possibility. But after a really lovely online friendship, things go offline. Dex and Locke are fabulous men. I adore the way they cared for Avery even as friends. Together these three are the definition of sweet love.
A SWEET WAY TO LOVE BY ABRIANNA DENAE 5* This story was in some ways the most fascinating because of the web of polyamory and the fascinating family it’s created. Eric has two boyfriends, both of whom are married. They also have boyfriends and children. It’s a gorgeous family, that baffles my brain but warms my heart! LOL When he finds Graham, he knows he’s found the one he wants to spend his day-to-day with. Live with. Graham is a lovely guy who deserves all the love and patience Eric has. He deserves a family to care for him because his own are bloody horrible. It’s also got a pretty swoony ending.
THREE'S COZY BY EM DENNING 5* EM gives us sweet and really really hot Best Friends and best friend’s younger brother. Trapped in a cabin with a snowstorm outside and a hot tub and fireplace to keep them warm. It starts with a sexy and somewhat awkward reunion, but Zeke and Connor see it as an opportunity to get what they want, and they want Micah!
WHAT WE WISHED FOR BY ELOUISE EAST 5* It takes a lot of courage to be willing to open up your relationship for the first time. Even if it’s what you both want, there’s the fear it will change things not for the better. But Bryan is beautiful and never pushes Lev. Rowan and Gary are also patient, but they are certainly eager when Lev finally gets there. The four of them together are goals. Amazing friends and lovers. And witnessing Lev find the joy of polyamory was pretty special.
NOT WITHOUT YOU BY MJ GREEN 4* A darker mafia story with some obsessive vibes. Samuel runs to Andretti and Lorenzo’s vineyard to escape his feelings for his straight best friend Pauli. There the three of them find themselves wanting to build a life together. Things get complicated when Paul tracks Samuel down. He’s confused about why Sam left, but even more confused about what he’s feeling. Pauli’s in for a surprise, or three.
TOWARD UNITY BY JL GRIBBLE 5* Three best friends, and too many words not spoken, truths not revealed, until Val comes home again. These guys have such a wonderful bond, that becomes something even more special when they accept how perfect they are together. It has some great representation too.
BALANCING EACH OTHER BY LEIGH KENZIE 5* Robbie finds himself stranded in a snowstorm, and stumbles upon a cabin. The home of two kinky assassins who could use a boy in the middle. It’s dark and sexy, and deliciously kinky.
OUR SWEET VAMPIRE BY MICHELE NOTARO Witches, vampires and soulmates. It’s super exciting when soulmates Finn and Killian find their fated third. Except Torin is on the run from his horrible vampire master. But it’s just in time really, because it’s going to take all three of them to protect Torin before they can find their HEA.
This has to be one of the best anthologies I've read. So many are just short stories that make you need to buy the next book in the authors series if you want any sort of conclusion. But Limitless Love is full of wonderfully refreshing standalone stories full of characters and relationships that stole my heart.
Falling on Schedule by Sage Abbott, an MMMM romance This is the second book I've read recently involving a surrogate for sex, something I'd never heard of before. I liked Brandt & Cairo, and Jim & Merry and enjoyed the way the two couples came together to build a relationship between the 4 of them while each couple respected the others needs and desires.
The Two That Got Away by Aurora Crane I love Aurora Crane's novels and would have loved for this to have been longer. The connection Drew, Keenan & Evan have was so strong. I'd have loved to have known why Keenan believed he wasn't worthy of having either of these men, but I'm glad Drew could see the connection he had with them both and made the move to make things happen resulting in a HEA.
Triple XP by Colette Davison I'm not a ģamer so i was a bit wary going into this one but Dex, Lock & Avery all quickly stole my heart just as they stole each other's. I really enjoyed Triple XP.
A Sweet Way to Love by Abrianna Dense This is one of the few open poly relationships I've read about and it was interesting to see how the dynamics between the various men and their respective spouses and Eric their longtime partner worked as well as how the new dynamic of Graham being brought in as Eric's newest lover and possibly the man he didn't know he was looking for to help complete him, changed or added to the dynamics.
Three's Cozy by EM Denning Zeke and Connor were hot as a couple but when the added their long term crush Micah to the mix then they were boiling. This was a fun read.
What We Wished Four by Elouise East The joining of two couples, Lev & Bryan, and Rowan & Gary was both sweet and sexy and for them a little scary in case they messed up their friendship. But these 4 best friends were meant to be much more, they just needed to take the plunge.
Not Without You by MJ Green This one was a little darker than the rest, a family business with underworld ties, these cousins are closer than the norm. I enjoyed Pauli's forced bi-awakening when he goes after his cousin and best friend who has run from his longtime unrequited love. Finding him with two other men awkakened more than he imagined, not only for him but for all of them.
Toward Unity by J.L. Dribble I loved how Sage, Weston and Val, longtime best friends learn that together they can be each other's everything, each one filling a need that the other can fill and therefore making the Relationship fully complete.
Balancing Each Other by Leigh Kenzie Noel and Eddie, assassins who've been together for over a decade find their third seeking shelter from a snowstorm. I enjoyed seeing Robbie come out of his shell and recover from the shock of finding his fiance with another man. Robbie discovers parts of himself he never knew he was needing and find two Daddies who will do anything to keep him safe and happy. It was super quick instalove but that's to be expected in a short novella. A fun read.
Our Sweet Vampire by Michele Notaro With only 2 chapters and an epilogue, this was the shortest story of them all. Two soulmates find their missing soulmate, fall for each other immediately and save him from the bad guy. A short sweet read.
I hope to read more Polyamory romances in the future, but for now I've enjoyed this anthology a great deal and found myself some new authors to try out.
Thank you for the ARC. I voluntarily give it an honest review. A wonderful release of multitude of authors that bring us to the edge with love. Some partners had a second chance while others latch on the opportunity to bring more love in their homes. Just an over deliciously sweet shanghainese in between these pages.
The two that got away: Aurora Crane I just wanted more of this short but sweet story. One disturbance call that was about to change everything for partner's Keenan and Drew, when the past in the form of Evan comes back to town. Can these two corner the one man that keeps running from himself this time of will Keenan only won't the the benefits with know strings. I just laughed so hard at Drew at the end.
A sweet way to love: Abrianna Denae A prequel view about Graham and Eric that is just a sweet little addition. Building trust from the loneliness that Graham suffered due to his past and the insecurities that have paled up. Eric just may have hit the jackpot when he took over ownership of the little coffee shop.
What we wished four: Elouise East Lev is a nervous bundle as he thinks Bryan will question his reasoning behind his sudden interest with Rowan and Gary. When it's his choice on the moving peices will it just be about one night or more. These guys are just wonderfully sweet and yes a bit naughty at times.
Balancing each other: Leigh Kenzie Robbie leaving his cheater of an ex only to be attracted to two men at once was a bit of a pickle..right. now throw in the master/sub certainty bring in a challenge. Our sweet vampire: Michele Notaro
Triple Xp: Colette Davison,Falling on Schedule: Sage Abbott,Three's cozy: E.M. Denning Not without you: MJ Green,Toward unity: J.L. Gribble
"Roses are red, violets are blue, Blood splatter can't be better for you?"
Normally I don't find myself getting too attached to the characters when it comes to short reads. But here? Be still my beating heart Sinful Smexy with lots of "Awww" moments and even a twist or two
"I've pushed for so long and I can't anymore. Every piece of me is scattered on the ground." When Robbie's ex shatters his heart he takes off. No destination. Just needing to get away. But life likes to throw its curves in threes and our sweet Robbie soon finds himself in a ditch in a snowstorm He sets out to find help only to end up at the door of Noel and Eddie His world is about to change in ways he never saw coming
I fricking loved the connection between these three They were a true throuple. Each fulfilling a need in the other Robbie was the third that Noel and Eddie had been looking for together they were the balm to heal Robbie's broken heart
I loved the little twists. And Robbie's revenge Eat your heart out!
I was given a copy of Leigh Kenzie's submission Balancing Each Other a bit early and I'm a touch biased here; as I love, love Kenzie's writing style Yes, I own most of her books. What can I say it's those crimson-coated characters that get me every time ...
I'm off to preorder this one and I am looking forward to finding some new authors and or series Highly recommend one clicking this one
I preordered this anthology the moment it became available and I will update this review when I get to read the rest of the stories in it.
This review, so far, is for the story Triple XP by Colette Davison. I read this story almost in one sitting. If I hadn’t started it way past my bedtime and forced myself to sleep I would have.
Triple XP is an insta-love, found family, MMM polyamorous romance with an established married couple in an open relationship.
Dex and Lock, a wonderful married couple that games together have an open relationship and are enthralled by the same game streamer, Avery. They join a live-stream gaming session with their crush and from that a long-distance friendship grows, in-game and out, and evolves into something so much more than any of them could have hoped for, but do they all feel the same?
This was so sweet, adorable, and steamy. I just loved it. I had a big smile on my face for nearly the whole story. I would be very interested in a longer version of this story, even though this absolutely was a complete story as is. I’d read it again to get more of all of them.
I love stories about polyamoury. ”Limitless Love” hit me right in the heart and triggered all those horrible and amazing feels and if I’m entirely honest I still don’t know how to deal with them.
The writing is simply eloquent and poetic. This is a fast yet very moving book with various themes. The characters were so brutally honest, each one so real and rich with emotion their experiences resonated with me on deep, personal levels. The entire cast of characters is extremely well drawn--an impressive feat given that there are many of them.
This is an amazing anthology and everyone should read it. Some of us will love it because it captures the LGBTQ+ community so well and others might be taught a little bit more acceptance and tolerance while reading the book.
Many thanks to Love Matters Promotions for providing a copy. The opinions expressed in this review are my own. Limitless Love will be published on June 11.
This is a review for Triple XP by Colette Davison. Dex and Lock are married and enjoy a poly lifestyle but feel like something is missing. Avery is a viral gamer that catches their attention but he seems out of their realm until they meet up in a role playing game that Avery is streaming. Avery is very guarded but feels safe around Dex and Lock for some reason. As their interactions go from cyber space to reality, it becomes evident that these three have the potential to be just what each other needs. I love how protective Lock and Dex were about Avery and the way Avery was blown away that these two men wanted him in their space. Avery was such a ray of sunshine that just wanted to belong and Dex and Lock made sure that he knew he was theirs in every way.
This review is for Michele Notaro's Our Sweet Vampire
While this was quick, it was a really fun read. Killian and Finn are already an established pair. They're definitely it for each other, yet they know that they're missing someone to complete them. There's something about the new guy who just moved in across the street that's pulling on them to find out more. The three of these guys may seem to move a bit fast, but I'd say that the instant connection does make sense and they do try to learn more about each other as well. There's a bit of action but lots of heart and I had a good time reading this.
I'm super excited for this anthology as I love many of the authors! I'm sure there are lots of great reads!!
I read Our Sweet Vampire by Michele Notaro. Finn (a fae) and Killian (a witch) are soulmates, or viramores, who feel like they have a missing piece. They have been looking for their third for years, and it just so happens that it's the vampire who moved in across the hallway. Torin couldn't have found himself better soulmates, because Finn and Killian are well-equipped to help him overcome the trouble he is in (sorry, no spoilers!). This is an exciting short story that has action, romance, steam, and wonderfully endearing characters. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Triple XP by Colette Davison Such a heartwarming MMM romance. Married couple, Dexter and Lachlan, are gamers on Evernite and huge fans of celebrity gamer, Avery. A chance at gaming together gives them the opportunity to get to know the younger man and I enjoyed how easy their friendship was to develop. It's a fast paced romance but feels very natural between them all. A perfect balance between caring, support and heat as the trio become a triad in all the ways that matter. One of my favourite things is how body positive the characters are towards each other. With one being muscled and built, one softer with curves, and one thinner with love of pastels, they show perfectly that everyone is wonderful just as they are. It's a very low angst romance and a wonderful addition to this anthology. I received an ARC and am happily giving a review.
🎮💜🦄Triple XP // Colette Davison // Limitless Love Anthology 🦄💜🎮
Sweet, swoony, and absolutely adorable, with a hint of hurt comfort! Exactly the warm hug I look for in a short, steamy novella! Colette Davison is the queen of the dopamine read! Triple Xp is a sweet love story between two married gamers and the pastel unicorn of their dreams. Watching these three pine and eventually come together in a sweet and steamy was just an absolute delight!
🎮 Gaymers 💜 MMM -Married Couple seeking Triad 🦄 Pretty Pastel Femboy 🎮 Friends to Lovers, Pining 💜 Hurt Comfort 🦄 Plus Size MC
Colette Davison 4.5⭐️ a very cute tale. Avery, Lock and Dex are cute together. I learnt more about the gaming world too which was cool.
Em denning 2.5⭐️ Micah, Connor and Zeke. I liked the idea of this but I am sorry to say I couldn’t gel with it. The idea was good but I personally found it meh. I’m sure others will love it.
JL Gribble 4⭐️ first read from this author. Liked the military theme and plot. Would love to see it extended into a longer tale.
Leigh Kenzie 4.5⭐️ I really enjoyed this. Passion, kink, murder and sweetness too. Will checkout more from this author
I read 2 books from this series. They are sweet quick reads you will enjoy.
The Two that Got Away by Aurora Crane Keenan is a police officer who works with his partner Drew who tried to make a relationship work but did not last. When called to a disturbance at a restaurant, he meets Evan who was his boyfriend 10 years earlier. When Drew offered to take Evan home, iwe find out what happened to get Keenan to break off with him. I loved the way they talked and more into starting a relationship between the three of them. Loved it and looking forward to reading more by this author.
Our Sweet Vampire by Michele Notaro Killian and Finn are mates who know they are missing their third. When a new neighbor takes the apartment across from them they know he is their mate. They also know that he is in trouble and on the run. When they knocked on his door to try and talk to him, they were able to find out what is going on. When the master vampire finds him, they were able to take care of that problem. Fast forward one year later, they are now living in a house and building on their relationship.
I received an advance copy of JL Gribble's story, Toward Unity. I have not read the other stories yet.
I loved this MMM romance which brings together three long-time friends who are at different points in their lives and who are different in their feelings about love and intimacy. The three men work through their situation and realize they fit together like puzzle pieces. It's about 9000 words, so I won't say much more to avoid spoilers, but there is aromantic representation.
Well written, entertaining - I'd have read a full book with these three!
A great anthology, I read The Two that Got Away by Aurora Crane. This was a delightful read fast paced story. I liked how you jump right into the complicated scene that Keenan finds himself. He’s got his current partner Drew wanting more from their relationship and his ex almost fiancé Evan showing up out of the blue. It’s a great set up, I liked how Drew and Evan hit it off right away to convince Keenan to give the three of them a chance. This was a fun, steamy, and sweet poly romance.
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
The Two That Git Away by Aurora Crane What a steamy little nugget this read is. It truly is about the ones who got away. Keenan doesn't feel he deserves to be loved, so he pushes Drew and Evan away.
Even though this is a short story, it had it all. This is part of the Limitless Live series, which is made up of may different authors' short stories. I look forward to reading more in this series.
For being a short story in an anthology, the author packed a complete story in a small package and didn't leave me wanting for anything. Even without an extensive backstory, the characters were well rounded, the plot was cute and progressed well, and the story was engaging without any heaviness to slow down the enjoyment. If the rest of the stories are anywhere as good as this one, I'll enjoy this anthology!
Cairo, Brandt, Jim, and Merry's story was a sweet and steamy exploration. This story picked up at a point in Cairo and Brandt's marriage just as they were getting comfortable with the idea of pursuing a physical relationship with additional people, and it was wonderful to see them take that leap of faith with Jim and Merry. Their steamy scenes were incredibly hot, but beyond that I could feel strong emotional connections forming between all four men. Because this story was on the shorter side, there wasn't much time to dive into the nuances of their individual relationships, but I still felt like the stakes were real and had the potential to hurt the four of them if things didn't work out. Thankfully the main misunderstanding they had was easily resolved with an open conversation, and while I would have loved to see more of what happened after they decided to date each other I was satisfied by the way things left off.
Our Sweet Mate by Michele Notaro (4/5 stars)
Finn, Killian, and Torin's romance was a sweet and steamy bite-sized read with a surprisingly action-packed conclusion. I typically prefer my romances to have a bit more buildup before going straight to smut and love confessions, but I probably should have expected more of an instalove vibe since this was a soul mates story. I thought it was sweet how protective Finn and Killian were of Torin from the start, and they had seriously hot chemistry for three people who barely knew each other. The vampire takedown at the end provided a nice bit of tension to bring the three of them even closer together, and I thought their happily ever after was pretty dang cute.

What We Wished For by Elouise East MMMM
I love that it's two couples that were best friends and they come together. Bryan was already poly but his husband Lev is only starting to think of exploring that as well. He struggles to voice his thoughts but everyone is patient with him while he works through his feelings. Rowan and Gray already had feelings for their best friends, Bryan and Lev, so it was an easy decision and transition for them. I loved all the open communication and they constantly reassured Lev that nothing will change even if it doesn't work out. It was such a great wholesome read with plenty of kisses and one big group scene fit into this short piece. I hope it gets expanded to a full book because I need more of them.
Gosh I love this characters so much. This novella is the story of how Eric meets Graham and is a prequel to A Gentle Way to Love, a full length novel about Sawyer who is one of Eric other partners. This big family is wonderful, I learned a lot from them. Their communication is amazing and their love is endless. Graham is so fragile and he really deserve all the love and care Eric can offer.
I loved What We Wished Four. I thought it would be a bit complicated as I have only read books with trouples, but it all turned out wonderful. They started out as best friends and it became so much more. I loved how they went on a date to celebrate and switched up the couples in the group so they could get to know one another on a different level. A very good read. I received an ARC of this story and I am voluntarily leaving a review.
