Or so the Council says. Watching the dynamic between my mother and fathers has stripped the rose-colored glasses from me, though. I’ve never wanted to match. And I certainly never wanted to attend one of the glitzy galas the Council uses to woo Omegas. At least, not until an absolute nightmare of a heat a couple months ago and the fallout of it.
So now I have one night that will dictate my future. I’m determined to make the most of it. Running into the Alpha I haven’t stopped thinking about since my time at the Haven last fall is a dream come true. Until I realize he’s involved with the man that broke my heart four years ago.
I’m staring at a match that has heartbreak written all over it. Between the cold, aloof Alpha from the Italian mafia, the Beta that has more than a passing history with me, and a mother that's convinced she knows better than the Council on who I should end up with, something is going to break.
Unfortunately, no matter which way I look at it, the only reasonable answer is that it’ll be me.
And I don’t think I'll be able to put myself back together this time.
I kept telling myself to DNF this one but for some reason I kept reading.
It was a mistake.
This could have been so good, but there were some key reasons it really wasn't.
❌ HUGE SPOILERS❌
1. The huge issue in the beginning was the reason for the second chance storyline: the FMC's mother forged nasty, rude breakup letters between the FMC and the beta MMC (we'll call him MMC1), and gave them to each of them as teenagers. So they both thought the other hated them and broke up with them through a nasty letter. Both had their hearts broken. Notably: the MMC1 never questioned it even though the mother wouldn't let him see her randomly, he just accepted it moved away.
Yet when it's discovered that it was really the mother, we're in MMC1's POV and he never feels a moment of sorrow for what the FMC must have felt in that time. It was just after her first heat when she designated as an omega and she came out of it and thought the love of her life despised her and used her then dumped her in a letter. But he only feels sorry for himself, and SHE apologizes to him for it because he's still hurt over it even though he knows she didn't actually send him the letter. He's confused and still a bit resentful, even, never once stopping to think that she probably felt the same. Later on, one of his alphas is still upset with the FMC for how he still thinks she treated him and doesn't know the truth yet, but he just tells him he's working it out and never explains that what he thought happened wasn't the truth. He lets this guy (MMC3) go on thinking the worst of her, which plays into how he already feels about omegas.
2. Where's the loyalty??? The three MMCs are in an established relationship when the book starts. MMC2, months earlier before their relationship started, had been with the FMC at a heat center during one of her heats and felt connected to her, but left employment there when he got into a relationship. When they're matched with the FMC, MMC1 tells the other two how horribly she broke his heart, and he was shaking and heartbroken at just the thought of having matched with her. But MMC2, that same day, is deadset on pursuing her, and on coaxing MMC1 to be around her to try to work it out without even knowing that it was a misunderstanding that tore them apart. This is a guy he's already saying I love you to, but he's apparently fine forcing him to accept a relationship with an ex that supposedly brutally ended things? No loyalty.
3. The FMC is not the center of this pack. It's MMC1 that's the center of the pack, and that's clear from page one all the way through to the epilogue. Idc how many relationships there are, but I want the FMC to at least feel like an equal with any other shared partners, and unfortunately she doesn't.
4. The worst part for me: unforgivable action by MMC3 that was forgiven almost immediately because body betrayal and because the FMC just wants to be loved. He spent the month+ that she was living in their house ignoring her, trying not to be in the same room or at the same events with her, and never once (not an exaggeration) had a conversation with her. It's not even eluded to that they had interactions in passing, he just straight up is rarely around her. But suddenly when she asks him a question one day, he acts on a feeling of needing to fck her that's supposedly been building within him (we NEVER see hints that this is the case before now), and he fcks her right there in the kitchen. (Edit: she's into it until he freaks out, then she's terrified.) And then after he knots her and realizes that he gave into his alpha desires, he RIPS HIS KNOT OUT OF HER and leaves her there, terrified on the floor and in pain. And the very next day she's forced into heat by her evil mother and he realizes he wants her and helps her through her heat with the other two. She had decided to leave because of his actions alone that day after putting up with all their bs for weeks. He made her feel unsafe, and she wanted out. But then he helped her through her heat and when she was out of heat, he didn't even apologize! He gave an excuse instead, just saying that he did that because he was disgusted with what his designation made him do, but he wants her now. And she's like,,,, completely soft because he wants her, and decides to stay. That morning she's on a call with her bsf and gushes about how much groveling he did. GIRL WHAT GROVELING??!!!!! Is it in the room with us??? Aghhhh I wanted to tear my hair out reading this shit.
5. I thought that was all, but I remembered one more: we find out at the end that her big reason for deciding to try matching after years of never wanting a pack was because of a traumatizing experience at the heat clinic where one of the alphas assigned to her didn't use a condom and got her pregnant. She had to have an abortion, and decided she didn't want to risk it with strangers anymore. Totally understandable. But here's what I don't get: WHY did she then ask each of them the first time they had sex to go in bareback? I get that she got an IUD after the incident happened, but if it was traumatizing enough that she changed her entire life plan, I'd think she'd be very wary about going bareback with anyone, at least for a while until their relationship was solidified and she knew them better. Make it make sense.
Did I accidentally stay up till 4:30 reading this? The world will never know.
Thank you to Jillian Rink for the ARC!
As someone who absolutely loves ABO books, I feel like I really struggle to find books that have equal parts good plot/character development and distinguishing/spice. But Knot Your Business absolutely hit the mark on all three elements!
The pacing was really strong with this book, I never felt bored but there also wasn’t too much going on at once that I felt overwhelmed. There was time for Violet to develop her connection and relationship with all three guys which I really appreciated because I feel like sometimes this falls flat in these books.
Each guy was also very unique and different from each other. We had Rylan (the immediate protective alpha), Jasper (the beta with the past relationship with Violet), and Dominic (the reluctant alpha). Each of these characterizations was strong and I truly loved each of the guys.
And when we got spice the spice was in fact spicing and I had a FANTASTIC time reading those parts.
I know we got an epilogue but I would honestly eat up a sequel with these characters!! 10/10 would recommend :)
i loved this story so much! violet was an amazing fmc. dominic was my favorite of her three men. the plot was so good here & i enjoyed the subtle overlap of stories between her book and faedras. the spice was SPICIN and i loved every minute of it. i enjoyed violet giving a big fuck you to her mom, ESPECIALLY after the big incident. fuck you sienna 😂
Thank you jillian for the arc in exchange for an honest review.
Adult Omegaverse MMFM with MM scenes Why Choose Mafia Vibes Second Chance ⭐️ 4/5 🌶️ 3/5
This was a quick, fun read with a decent amount of spice. I enjoyed it and would recommend if you like a good omegaverse. I went in blind with this one, not having read the prequel novella, but it wasn’t necessary as Violet is the main focus. Definitely read the novella if you want more backstory on the men, though, because we don’t get much of it in this book.
Look, man, I dunno. I'm a completionist and I had already read the other one and I blame my gifted and talented elder millennial upbringing for why I waded back into the hot mess of the Omegaverse. This is the first time I've uttered the phrase" you know this would make more sense if they were werewolves".
4.5 Omg I love a good happy ending!!! I loved the growth of our main characters, from opening up to each other in a rather new relationship to confronting fears and over coming them! We love to see supportive Dads and best friends! And we love to see others getting a spoonful of their own medicine! This book had all the cozy feels and I loved it! . . . Ok for some very specific loves of this book: - the who did this to you and the fuck it trope in the same scene loved it! - loved watching him struggle with his feelings and realizes he loves her (cough cough Dom👀) - the second chance romance that Vi and Jas got was everything! - loved how Rylan was such a supportive cinnamon roll
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
I received this as an ARC and I enjoyed it! This is a why-choose, omegaverse. There are some CW, so definitely check those our before reading! I ended up reading this without reading the novella before, Beta, or even the first book of the series - which is out the norm for me but I thought the description was interesting and I quite enjoyed it! But I do recommend reading the novella beforehand as it will give you some extra context on the MMCs in this book!
The FMC, Violet, has decided to enter the council matching program. This program matches omegas to packs and it is quite seriously taken in this world. To reject a match has some pretty serious consequences. During the matching ball, she comes across her ex, one of the MMCs, who had left her heart shattered 4 years ago. It turns out he is in the same pack as one of the alphas she felt a connection with during one of the heat services she used. But he is not taking it well once he sees her and makes it clear to his alphas that he doesn't want to see her again. The MMCs are attending the ball only as a requirement for the third MMC's inheritance and they have no intention of getting matched with an omega. But the Council has other ideas.
Overall, I really enjoyed this! While I didn't read the novella before, I didn't find I was too lost with the MMCs relationship. I loved Violet's relationship with her best friend and how they check in with each other through the matching process. I really enjoyed Violet reconnecting with two of the MMCs. And the third MMC slowly falling with the FMC. I did wish we saw a bit more about the struggle the third MMC was having with his designation but I did love that it was an alpha that was struggling as usually it is omega or beta characters that do. I am definitely interested in checking out the first book now and continuing the series!
“I’m going to fuck this up.” Maybe. But I might, too. And isn’t that a wonderful thing to share?
~~
If you know me at all, you know a good Omegaverse story is my greatest weakness in life. There’s just something about a love story so fated, so primal… Simply put, I can’t get enough! After stumbling upon Jillian’s socials, I knew in an instant that I needed to dive right into her OV world. And what a lovely world it is!
Knot Your Business is book two in Jillian Rink’s Serendipity Omegaverse series and though it can be read as a standalone, I definitely recommend starting with book one, Ready or Knot, followed by Jasper’s novella, Beta, as they will set the stage perfectly for Violet’s story.
Violet is a strong-willed, bold Omega and I was pleasantly surprised to see so much of myself in her. Readers quickly learn that what she presents on the outside differs from what’s brewing beneath the surface, and wow can I relate to that. Though Violet’s connection to her council-declared pack members, Rylan, Jasper, and Dominic, is undeniable, they do not come without struggle. Watching each overcome past conflict and prejudices really tugged at my own heart. Now typically, I prefer my OV packs to consist of strictly Alphas and an Omega but Jillian, I think you’ve made me a changed woman. Beta-designated Jasper is such a delight and an integral part of the pack dynamic. Dare I say he may be my favorite of the bunch??
The connections are so pure and full of emotion. The plot is entertaining with a few surprising twists and the pace enjoyable. Overall, I'm very glad to have given this world a shot. If you’re new to the Omegaverse genre, I think this is a great series to experiment with!
Why you’ll love Knot Your Business 🖤 Omegaverse, 🪢 & 🔥 🖤 Multi POV 🖤 MMFM 🖤 Arranged Marriage 🖤 Second Chance 🖤 Found Family 🖤 Groveling 🖤 Sweet and Spicy

This ARC review is honest and freely given.
*You should read Beta, the prequel novella before reading this book!
Pack: Violet - Female Omega Rylan - Male Alpha Jasper - Male Beta Dominic - Male Alpha
Tropes & themes: why-choose romance with MM, second chance romance, mafia man & musician MMCs, FMC in STEM, designation dysphoria, match system, who did this to you, “fuck it,” pierced peen, and themes involving the darker aspects of being an omega.
Spoiler-free summary: Forced to attend a matching ball, Jasper, Rylan and Dominic aren’t actually looking to match. In fact, matching is Dominic’s worst nightmare. Despite their circumstances, they’re matched with Violet, the omega that Rylan hasn’t stopped thinking about, but also the same one that broke Jasper’s heart four years ago.
Thoughts: I knew that this book was going to bring the messy angst after the events in the prequel, Beta, and it definitely delivered! From nearly page one, I was gripped by the pining and angst between these characters as they fought their way through the barriers between them.
My favorite character in the prequel was Dominic, an alpha that has lived his whole adult life fighting his designation. His growth arc from the prequel to the end of this book was immaculate. He’s brooding and dangerous and speaks a lot of Italian 🤣 If you can’t tell, I really like his character!
Rylan was such a great supporting alpha for Violet and Jasper, allowing everyone to explore their feelings, while Jasper himself was the perfect glue for this pack. Violet was so deserving of their HEA after all of her trauma, and I thought this pack was truly perfect for each other.
I definitely recommend this book and its prequel, Beta, to omegaverse readers, especially for those that love a pack beta!
Tropes i adore: 🌻: Omegaverse 💛: Plus Size heroine 🌻: Protective Hero 💛: Nicknames (in another language)
I loved this book. The characters, the spice, the story, and the development of the timeline were all so good. The main characters were all so great. I loved their chemistry, their love for each other, and their support of one another.
Violet was such a great fmc. Her strength, humor, and her sassiness were just a few key qualities i loved. She wasn’t afraid to do what she wanted and fight for what she needed out of her life.
Jasper — sweet beta jasper. He was such a sweetheart and honestly such a key part of their pack. He literally had everyone’s heart and was such a great voice of reason. His history with Vi was heartbreaking and i loved seeing how they tackled that hurdle.
Rylan — the protective sexy alpha (probably my favorite guy) was the best. How he instantly felt a connection with Violet but was also supportive of how Jasper felt about everything. He was sweet and i loved how he was with everyone.
Dominic — the grump/disconnected alpha. I really enjoyed reading about how he dealt with his designation and the repercussions that he had to face for being so distant with Violet. I think that he grew the most in terms of character and owning his demons. I LOVED how when he was passionate, his Italian slipped through.
This story was great & i enjoyed reading how they all fit together and the plus side is that the spice was definitely spicing 👀🔥
*I was provided this book free of charge by the author in exchange for an honest review*
Happy bookish birthday to Knot Your Business!
As I start to get into romance and broaden my bookish horizons more, I’m trying to read more independent authors. @jillianrink.author is fantastic and this was a wonderful intro to romance books.
It was impossible not to fall in love with Rylan, Jasper, Dom, and Violet! I loved that the book was truly plot driven, not just acting as a vehicle for spice. I found myself thinking about the plot and what would happen next when I wasn’t reading and I absolutely love when books make me do that. The characters are strong and driven. I typically cringe when there’s a lot of typical “not like other girls” BS happening, but the way Violet was written was clean and did not linger on her “different-ness”.
I appreciate that all of the characters had motives and there were not a lot of filler characters to get bogged down with.
I think a huge strength of this book was that it was written with intention. There was a clear plot, tension, love, humor, and hatred- all fleshed out and all explored beautifully with just enough spice to keep you reading if you weren’t into all that plot stuff (lol). Overall, if you’re reading for the spice, you won’t be disappointed, and if you’re reading for the plot, you really won’t be disappointed!
Thank you to the author for sending me a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review!
Tropes/Micro-Tropes: •Why Choose •Omegaverse •MMFM •Slight Italian Mafia Presence •Second Chance •Family Drama •Found Family
Fav Quotes:
“She’s no one’s but her own” -Dominic
“You were the last woman I touched. And will be the last one I ever touch again.” -Jasper
“It smells better when it’s yours and not mine.” -Rylan
Ramblings: This was the first omegaverse I’ve read in a while and it was SOO GOOD!!!! It starts off as MMM (Jasper (beta) is with Rylan (alpha) and Dominic (alpha), but Dom and Rylan aren’t with each other sexually) and the guys are forced to go to the matching gala to find an Omega. They DO NOT WANT TO MATCH! They want to stay as a trio, but Rylan bumps into Violet and surprise surprise…. They had already met 🤭 anddddd apparently Violet and Jasper were madly in love in high school and broke each others heart (and there’s a lot of unknown drama about that that comes to light later!!!) Dom is pissed when they end up getting matched with her and almost ruins everything! A forced heat ends up shining light on a lot of things and bringing the pack together.
The sex scenes were SPICY and I especially loved the MMM scenes. I loved seeing the dynamic of the 4 of them once they navigated things and were able to work out being a pack!
Set your calendars for this book’s release date, IG! And check it books 1 + 1.5 while you wait (I’ve reviewed both on my page previously). We finally get Violet’s story!!
We are introduced to Violet as a side character in Book 1, Ready or Knot, and a bit here and there in Book 1.5, Beta. And we were left with more questions than answers - which was the point.
I was so happy to finally know the full history between the heartbreak of Jasper x Violet and to also get more time of Rylan x Violet. And who doesn’t love some Jasper x Alpha time 🔥
I absolutely loved Dominic’s character and his breakthrough. You just couldn’t help but be in his corner, despite a few moments of bad choices here and there.
As much as I enjoyed the 2 books prior, I feel that this one was an evolved version of both. We got a ton more convo between the Omega and Alphas that I missed in Book 1. I felt the author’s writing style really shine through in this one and I was here for it. We got to experience so much with Violet and feel everything she did, both good and bad.
I think the mixed relationships between the 4 of them could have been a tangle to accurately describe on paper, but it was written so well and easy to follow, even if you’re fairly new to the Omegaverse. I would love more from this world. Liz or Huntley stories!!
this was fine. i wanted more depth of understanding of the characters though.
dominic is basically a mystery the entire book, and i think that’s because we barely spend any time with him. we are given no indication that he’s struggling because of his draw to her. we’re basically just told that he doesn’t want an omega but he’ll try to make it work.
and then all of a sudden they’re fucking. and it just doesn’t really feel like anything because it’s not like they’ve had this slow burn building chemistry and sexual tension. none of that is described or investigated. i actually don’t think they spend more than 10 minutes in the same room together before they’re fucking.
i also wish we got more of the whole pack together. the heat scene didn’t really feel hot or fun because there was such an underlying current of guilt and fear and discomfort. so it would’ve been nice to see more of them happily together at the end.
i mean, don’t get me wrong, the book technically has a happy ending. it just feels unsatisfyingly quick and easy considering how much uncertainty was spread throughout the beginning 75% of the narrative. everything just needs to be a bit more well supported and described.
I went into this one thinking it’d be an easy omegaverse RH but boy was I wrong. There was so much back story. Violet was such a strong FMC and I loved that she knew exactly what she wanted in life but still tried to do what was “right”. The backstory behind Violet and Jasper was my favorite and their second chance at love flowed easily into the rest of the story and into the pack. Rylan was such a comfort character as well with him being the reason everyone could laugh and felt comfortable. And Dominic. As a character I felt drawn to him even though I didn’t want to. His distance and cold attitude towards Violet had me angry but I could understand why he was the way he was.
While this was a fun read there are some deeper topics that I feel could have been more focused on than some other parts of the story. I did love seeing into Violet and Faedra’s friendship but I think it sometimes took precedent over what was happening in the scene. Still, this is worth a read if you’re into omegaverse & shifters. Thank you to Jillian for letting me arc this! ✨Stay tuned for its official release on July 11th!✨
Knot Your Business is available now! 🩵🤩 book 2 of the Serendipity Omegaverse series, and can be read as a standalone.
I knew I was going to love Violet after meeting her in Ready or Knot. She is such a supportive and loving friend to Faedra, but I knew she was going to have a fun story. Parts of this overlap what happened in Ready or Knot, through Violet’s POV, and her experience, but it never felt repetitive, which I loved!!
Violet is against bonding and matching, after having a bad heat, she quickly changes her mind to avoid going through that ever again. Meeting her potential mates at the matching event throws her for a loop. Knowing 2 of the 3 in the group she was interested in, immediately sets everyone on edge.
This was such a good, quick, spicy, read. It was fast paced, and kept me interested the whole time. The guys in the group, woo 😮💨😮💨 love them. This was a true MMFM omegaverse, and had several MM scenes ;) we love to see it. The growth between them all was so real, I love them.
What to expect: 😮💨 MMFM Omegaverse 🩵 Second Chance 🫂 Found Family 🌶️ Open Door 💍 Groveling
This book is super cute! If you’ve read Ready or Knot, then you already know a bit about Violet and how her matching was a bit rocky to start. I have been so excited to read her story and see her get her much deserved HEA.
I love a second chance romance and Vi and Jasper were everything for me. Their journey is heartbreaking but so worth it in the end. Rylan is one of my favorite characters of Jillian’s. He’s a total cinnamon roll, and I loved every moment with him. I definitely had my work cut out for me with Dominic but once he came around I was sold. I love a hero that speaks 2+ languages, and Dom said alllll the right things in Italian. They all have such a great dynamic together. I loved that these guys went to bat for Vi in the end.
Thank you so much to Jillian for the ARC ❤️ Knot Your Business releases 7/11
⭐️: 4/5 🌶️: 2/5

Thank you to the author for the free eARC for a honest review!
I am so happy to read the continuation of Violet's Story. While this is the second in the Serendipity Omegaverse I quite enjoyed that it started in the same timeframe Ready or Knot started in. Going through the same timeline but from Violet's and Pack Montegue's really felt like we received the missing puzzle piece! After reading Beta, I immediately wished to see an HEA for Jasper and Violet (plus I'm a sucker for a Second-Chance troupe)!
I thoroughly enjoyed Violet's story and she is truly one strong woman! With growing up in a household where her dads had such a conflicted relationship with her mother, I am glad to see that worked throughout the book in a healthy manner! The support Violet has is heartwarming and I loved how each of her partners supported her.
Jillian Rink has hit it out of the park with her Omegaverse writing and is now a part of my auto-buy list!
This book was a whole lot of joy and angst to read, with a sprinkling of second chance tropes, mafia involvements, and a unique OV world structure. The pacing is excellent and engaging, without a moment of slowing down or finding myself getting bored. It was exactly the kind of OV books I'm after and I was not disappointed!
Our FMC, Violet is a freaking peach with anxiety and a demon of a mother. And our bestie, Faedra get's a few shining moments where we see her own love life play out too! But then we get an adorable beta Jasper, and our two alphas: the elusive Dominic and the doting Rylan. It's hard not to fall in love with pack Montegue when you have such a well blended mix of physical and emotional needs being met by all pack mates (and the readers!). This book is like a warm hug for everyone who grew up wanting to be different than they are and those who struggled under the thumb of a manipulative mother.
Violet's story was so interesting and different for me. That made it even more enjoyable for me. Thank you, Jillian, for sending me an ARC!
Violet enjoys her freedom, she's had her heart broken, her mom is extra controlling, she's not super sold on finding a pack. This omegaverse has a council that essentially chooses a few packs that an omega would fit with, and the omega/pack will choose. Jasper, Dominic, and Rylan are just fine to be a pack on their own. They all end up going to one of these match galas to get the council off their backs, but end up getting paired with Violet. Violet has history with two of the three of them...and that leads to a lot of issues that everyone has to work through. It was heartbreaking for everyone to work through their struggles. Definitely worth all the pain to get to their HEA for sure.
I was so excited to get this book after reading Beta and getting snippets of who Violet is. This story was done so well! It starts at The Councils gala where the guys are all in different mindsets when it comes to matching with Violet. Jasper is Violets ex and has some broken hearted history, Rylan has a steamy past encounter and Dominic wants nothing to do with any omega but especially this one who he feels might steal his lovers attention and love (Jasper). I adored Violet, she stands her ground and works past her huge mommy issues. (Which FUCK her mom, she’s now one of my most hated characters I’ve ever read. Violets dads are great though and I hope they live happily ever after.) I really love watching how this group grew to become what it did. Also just have to mention how much I loved the banter between Dominics mom & Rylan.
“Show him, pretty Omega. Show him how you need him.”
Reading this sure made me glad I don't have Violet's mom! Haha!
Okay, in all seriousness...we actually met Violet in the first book of the series (and I love how this book weaves in Phaedra and her pack if you've read that book). She attends the matching gala where she sees Rylan - who was a heat helper in the past and she really connected with. Unfortunately, it turns out Jasper (a beta) is in his pack. She and Jasper have history and their breakup hurt both of them (which of course, we don't find out the entire truth until later...)
Rylan and his pack didn't actually WANT to be there but they had to in order for Dominic to receive money from his family. What they didn't expect was to be matched with Violet.
This story has so many feels! I love a good "we don't want you but we are drawn to you and can't deny it" kind of story! There's hurt, denial, attraction, spice, drama...a little bit of everything! And of course an HEA. ;-)
*Please note trigger warnings were at the END of the book and not at the start!!
Dipping my toes in more into the omegaverse world! It took me a bit to try to figure out of this was an interconnected standalone or if I had to read the first book in this series or not because I did go in blind, not having read the prequel or the first book listed in this series. It might have enhanced the characters more if I did read the other books, but the focus of this book is on Violet and her men.
This was a quick fun read just by itself. Some of the scenes were more explicit than others, and I enjoyed the MM scenes as well. I wish there was a little more plot to the story personally but I did enjoy it overall.
And ugh how I wish I could speak Italian, I had to pause and try to translate multiple times to figure out what Dominic was saying throughout the book if it wasn't explained in the context.
Welcome to an ARC review by an idiot y’all. Where I just learned in real time that this is book 2 in a universe. Anyone that’s been here for a minute knows this is classically Melissa. I love to do things out of order. It’s my calling. BUT it means I can with 100% confidence tell you this can be read as a stand alone.
Knot Your Business by Jillian Rink is book 2 in the Serendipity Omegaverse series and is releasing July 11th. So go add it to your TBR now babes.
If you love— •Omegaverse •Second chance romance •Arranged marriage •Why choose •MMFM •Groveling •Cute Italian nicknames ✨cue swooning✨ •Mafia adjacent
I throughly enjoyed Violet’s story. This pack really put me through all the emotions y’all. Jillian Rink almost had me crying y’all.
Violet is such a strong and independent omega. I loved her to bits. She puts on such a brave face, but her she has this softer side too and that duality is so relatable. The pack is such an interesting group of men. Rylan is our cinnamon roll. He is definitely a falls hard kinda guy and that will always be a slam dunk for me. Jasper and Violet have this whole second chance love/miscommunication situation going on and man Jillian Rink really said let me teach you how much you can love these two tropes when they’re done beautifully. Dom really tried hard to make me strangle him through the pages a few times, but his cute Italian mumbling-should go to therapy booty completely redeemed himself. They must teach groveling in the bookish mafia because they always seem to excel.
I really liked this story! It was my first Omegaverse and I think it was easy enough to understand without knowing the genre super well. I really appreciated that all Violet's relationships with the MMCs were a little different. I was also happy that a certain someone was the first to do a certain something haha. My ONLY two issues are that one of the main conflicts got resolved way quicker than I expected but then the author made up for it by throwing in a plot twist, and the amount of Italian used without it being translated in the text took me out of the story some. I'm all for other languages being used but it wasn't just a phrase so after I looked it up once, I was good. And it wasn't understood by all the characters either. But overall, I really enjoyed the read and would recommend it to someone who enjoys OV.
The emotions I felt reading this was uncalled for (but very welcomed). I cannot express to you how much I absoloutly loved this book just cause it just pulled all the emotions out of me. A good book will always have me feeling anger, sadness and f*cking hot and bothered!!
I swear to you that I could not keep a straight face reading these spicy scenes and I had to stop multiple times because I was being stared at. I'm not crazy I swear, Rylan and his Prince Albert just has me imaging all sort of ish he can do with that thing!
To be inside of Jillian's head would be scary but interesting cause I have no idea how she can make these characters come to life!
I def recommend reading this series! (Ready or Knot and prequel Beta) if you are wanting to start your journey into the Omegaverse!
If you want omegaverse RH (MFMM) with high stakes and high spice, this is the book for you. Also the second chance in this is wonderful.
Knot Your Business timeline overlaps with book 1 (Ready or Knot). It was fun seeing the events from Violet's eyes. And seeing Faedra and her alphas again.
I feel so much for Violet and everything she has to deal with. Her emotions were really well written.
Sweet Jasper. I realized after reading Knot Your Business that I need to read Beta to get their story. Though going in without reading it I understood it, but now I need all the details.
Rylan dynamic within the pack and protectiveness with Violet is the best.
I really enjoyed the feral-ness of Dominic. Yeah, alpha behavior.
🌟ARC Review🌟 Knot Your Business By Jillian Rink Releasing 07.11.24 Thanks to the author for the Advanced Reader Copy
Knot You Business by Jillian Rink should 110% be everyone’s business! Give me a soap box because I’d love for everyone to get to know their way around the Omegaverse.
I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed book one and the following novella prior to this one but there has been so much advancement in the writing that I applaud the author. I felt we were really able to get to know Violet on a deeper level and I was able to understand each relationship she had with Jasper, Rylan, and Dominic.
We learned so much in this book from past relationship drama, how the whole M/M/M/F concept works between these four amazing characters, to why a certain blonde haired mafia involved man was so distant through many of the chapters. On that note, I have to say I would have loved more of Dominic’s POV so we can dive into what exactly he was doing during his absence. Do I foresee a novella in the future on this?🤞🏼
Let’s skip to the good part - Rylan, Jasper, and previously mentioned Dominic. I mean if I can jump into the Omegaverse, these three MMCs better make room for me! Seriously Jillian, between the 6 protective and caring men we’ve been introduced to in this series, my ever growing list of book boyfriends will have no end.
If you have not started this series, please do. Refer to my previous review to hear more about our other couple - Logan, Carter, Jude, and Faedra. I will be keeping my eye out for any future ARCs and pray I get chosen because I need more of the Omegaverse ASAP!
