This is my swamp, my law, and when a Viking dares to lay hands on a woman, he finds himself in a world of hurt in my cell. My kind of justice doesn’t play by the rules – it’s dark, it’s brutal, and it sure as hell ain’t legal.
Out there, the Bayou’s in the grip of a raging hurricane, but life doesn’t pause – not even when hell’s breaking loose. Patches is elbow-deep in the storm, bringing new life into this chaos. And Mia, that Viking woman I rescued, I'm connecting her with her real family and they're ready to go to war for her.
And her brother Kaj, a man of faith, he’s about to meet his own war – and let me tell you, it ain’t easy keeping faith when passion’s knocking at your door in the way of a woman who wrangles alligators.
While I'm taking Viking names and busting balls, Seer and Nitro are marching into the jaws of hell to save Cherie’s boy from that bastard Lazarus. Knives flash, bullets fly, and death comes knocking.
All this while the swamp is boiling over with pissed off swamp women demanding the fairy-tale ending we promised with that damn ball. There's only five of us left on the marriage block and my moron brothers decide to let Fate decide. Would you be shocked if I said Fate turns out to be a twisted player in their game? Let's just say not every roll’s a winner.
I'm not hardly done. Ever hear of Creole Viking Kings? Yeah, us either. But these myths lurking in the shadowed waters of the north swamp turn out real. And we need their ancient might and secrets. So, we barter – our gifted for their muscle. A deal with the devil? Maybe, but in the Bayou, it's all about survival.
Me? I’m playing one last game, a favor for my Eveque. One night at the ball, smiling at women I don’t give a damn about. But Mia, she's out there, learning a truth that’s about to shatter everything. The moment I hear she knows and some Viking Warrior wants to challenge me and take her from me, all bets are off. I’m coming in hot and bringing my own storm. And hell’s sure coming with me."
I’m a husband and author, and I may be a little religious about both. I like writing hot sex and encapsulating it in the delicate white silk of devotion, commitment, and psychotic obsession.
There is so much going on, it's hard to keep up. Jericho is crazy in love with Mia, but this damn ball has a lot of hand picked potential brides, who don't want to hear another one of the twelve has fallen, and it's not for one of them. The meeting of the Creole Kings is monumental, for both the Bishops, and all the gifted included. The Kings have heard Beth speak her thoughts on how to proceed in the future to achieve their goals of successful pairing, and mating that , has a mutually beneficial result. Patches is married by deed, according to the laws of the swamp. Grand Piere has given his blessings, and Texas Teagan is officially a bride to his grandson. Now Jericho has been challenged by a prominent Viking for Mia's hand, and Bishop has warned him to not do anything to upset the agreement between the 12, and the Vikings, and the Creole Viking Kings. Now we wait for book 15, next year.
I started reading the series because I love anything to do with the bayou. I started the first book and was so involved that I had to. Continue the series every book being more captivating. Bullets is my favorite book so far. Bullets has been celibate when he meets Mia who is from a Viking clan also in the bayou. Her husband has badly beaten her. After rescuing her he finds that her "clan" had assigned her to 4 husbands and they were all very abusive...... Warning book has a cliffhanger which I hate and usually refuse to read the next book ...... Since I feel its the authors way to ensure you get the next book....... However I will look forward to continuing the next book as long as it's ku.
Sweet Baby Jesus, Lucian Banes, how could you leave us hanging like this???? This is so unfair. This whole book is just as explosive as all the others and was getting hotter and better until you left us hanging on our seats at the end. Please tell me there are a lot more books coming. Bullets & Mia, Juliette & Mia’s Priest brother, the four unmarried of the 12. I also pray we will be reading books about each of the Vikings and the Viking Kings. I want to see how their introduction to the world of physical relationships turn out, lol. I can’t wait to see what you have in store for us.
I had quite a few laughs here. Jericho, AKA Bullets is trying to do the right thing with Mia, the Viking clan woman that suffered injuries from domestic violence. After finding out how she had been forced to be with four “husbands” and how that entire clan treated her, Bullets was determined to find her mother’s clan and her kin. The Marriage Ball finally gets held…with disastrous results for dear old Jericho. I’m on to number 14 to see how this is going to end up for him. And what, if anything, developes with Juliette and her Viking priest. Who happens to be Mia’s brother!
Holy crap on a cracker! Lucian Bane has brought "Bullets", the thirteenth book in hid "Bayou Bishops" series to life. To say my heart was thumping so loud it reverberated in my ears would be an understatement. The Twelve are choosing wives, we now have two separate Viking clans, one good and one evil, in play, PLUS, the ball which seems to be quickly going to he$$ in a hand basket. What a cliff hanger this one left me on. I can't wait to see where Mr. Banes goes next with this.
This story has so many twists & turns. It’s hot as heck one second & cold a minute later with laughter. Multiple characters in this one & left with a hot cliff hanger. It’s got many steamy parts & lots of erotica. I would advice this book & all Bayou Bishop Books to those that like it hot as heck at times, funny times, keeps you going & not putting the book down good. I Love Lucian Bane Stories
Lucian Bane, was an author I promised myself to read during 2023. He's now a close second to my favorite author Giulia Lagomarsion. This novel continues the relationships with Nitro and Felix, Patches and Tegan, and of course Bullets and Mia. It also introduced us to 3 clans of swamp Vikings. The cliff hangers are annoying, but it keeps you coming back for more.
Well looks like things are taking some interesting turns! We have Bullets and Mia, Kaj and Juliet and He's Mia's brother and now a bit of a mix up and a Vikings challenge, which is their Bit-tie! Then the bad and nasty evil Vikings are still hanging around but here enters the Creole Viking Kings and they're a different bunch for sure! Anyway can't wait for the next book to read! Definitely I recommend this and the whole series! 😈💥😊
Another …. I could not have guessed how this story line would go…. What a refreshing change to have every book with a totally different story. Up to now I’ve not been able to put this series down. I’ve had shock sadness and laughter in equal measures. Not every love interest is the perfect size so no body shaming . The author has more than impressed I can’t wait for next book
Another absolutely amazing addition to the Bayou Bishops series. Can I just say the story just keeps getting better and more intense. The new characters are such a perfect fit to the swamps of Louisiana. This author always makes you feel like part of the story with his vivid words and world in the Bayou.
You know I love you and all my Bishops but this one isn't fair. We waited for a.long time to get it and you jerked the rug and left us hanging on by one finger nail. You said it was a long book but it is not compared to the others. Please ease our pain soon. I can't wait to find out the conclusion for Mia and Bullets.
One of my favourites from this series in recent months. The series is just outside of reality so it's going to have a few quirks. Some interesting new characters as well as our established heroes. We'll written on the whole (one or two typos), with good worldbuilding and an interesting plot, I look forward to hearing more from Bullets and Mia, plus the hint of more romance on the horizon.
Bullets finds himself falling for a Creole swamp viking beauty while reeking revenge on those who hurt her. I do have to mention though that the remaining brothers of The Twelve deciding on how to choose their brides had me LMFAO. Priceless.
As usual, this is one continuous story so I'll wait to review.
So far Lucian Bane has out done himself on spice, storyline a d characters, he brings you into the bayou and with these men there is no way your getting out without a devious taste of sheer spice and everything you need to ease your bayou CRAVINGS!!!! MUST READ THESE BOOK LADIES
OK, OK. How quickly do you think our fantastic author, Lucian Bane, can write the next one? None of us can hold our breath until the next one. WOW!!! Thank you for having this on Kindle Unlimited.
Omg, I just finished this book. I was on the edge of my seat with all the new people introduced. I really hate when the end just sneaks up on you. I end up screaming no, don't end yet..I love this series. Lucian Bane is a master writer.
Lucian Bane's characters are so vibrant. They come to life before your eyes. The story line takes you on a roller coaster of emotion that keeps you on the ride much longer than you have time for. So much excitement and variety of characters. Well worth the ride!
Wow!!! Lucian Bane you did it again, your storytelling skill has captivated us, immersing us in the world of the Bayou. You have us hanging on the edge waiting to see/read what happens next! Your ability to create a world that we all get so invested in and leave us wanting so much more!! You have created so many characters we have fallen in love with and then boom you add new characters for us to fall in love with.
Considering the Twelve are big alpha heroes, they’re hilarious in their courting. I laughed out loud a few times. Meanwhile the evil surrounding the swamps is closing in.
This series was a serious time quencher. Couldn't put it down no matter what else I was doing. Awesome story buildup and relatable to the story telling for a time when I was very passionate myself.
This book, is bringing new characters into the fold ! Love it ! It's a series you start, and can't stop, Lucian Bane ,can't write fast enough ! Would recommend this series to everyone!
