In 2020 he started publishing the first part of his diaries Under the title: And He Has Overcome Silence.
Mohamed Al-Barqi believes in writing free from the restrictions of classical Arabic, and encourages colloquial writing.
In 2022 he returned to poetry and published a collection under the title "Songs of ugliness and regret".
