Knox, a former Navy Seal, has been in several dangerous situations, but nothing compares to dealing with Diamond Richards. Framed for murder, he needs the passionless lawyer to prove his innocence. But when he no longer needs her help, he’s going to show her the passion she’s capable of and walk away a free man.
Diamond plans on earning her huge fee to prove Knox is innocent, but she had no idea the muscled biker could bring out the passion she kept hidden behind her designer clothes. Trying to find a murderer is easier than dealing with The Last Riders and Knox’s sexcapades. He’s going to find out there is one woman worth standing and fighting for, despite his desire for freedom.

Regrettably, all of Begley’s books are interrelated. So if I want to see how Shade and Lily’s story plays out, I have to suffer through 5 more books. Now that I’ve finished book #3, however, I can safely say that there’s some creepy ass shit in The Last Riders series! And here are the top 5 creep-worthiest:
#5. The Last Riders? More Like Last Pussies.
As several other reviewers have noted, The Last Riders are so terrified of their club whores, that they do nothing while the whores hurt, belittle, and disrespect their heroines. Case in point:
“ ‘We’re not giving Knox up.” Jewel leaned toward Diamond. “There’s no way you can satisfy him by yourself.’ Diamond could see that Bliss and Evie agreed. ‘Aren’t you going to say something?’ Diamond asked Knox. ‘We let the women handle this,’ he answered.” ~ Jewel, Diamond & Knox
EXCEPT…. Every time a heroine tries to “handle this”, one of The Last Rider pussies publically shames her. Sooooo…
BALLESS + BIKERS = CREEPY.
#4. Is That A Judgy McJudger In Your Pants?
For people who love to drone on and on and on about how much they hate being judged, The Last Riders are awfully Judgy McJudgerpants:
“ ‘You can have a lot of fun sharing that beautiful body of yours, Diamond, if you just let yourself relax and enjoy the pleasure.’ His fingers slid into her panties. ‘I’ve never seen a more uptight woman than you.’ ” ~ Knox
Yeah baby! I love it when my manwhores gets all judgmental when they're sexing my heroines up!
OF COURSE NOT. *blink blink*
#3. She Put Her Virtually, Unused Va-Jay-Jay Where?
Imagine you’re at The Last Riders’ whorehouse… Er… clubhouse, and THIS happens:
“Diamond gasped at the hot tub. ‘But I don’t have a suit.’ ‘No problem. We have extras.’ Knox opened a cabinet, showing several swimsuits. Picking out a white one, he handed it to her. ” ~ Diamond & Knox
Uhhh… Would YOU put on a swimsuit that’s been worn by gazillions of strangers who aren’t too picky about who they let into their Vajayjays?
IF YOUR ANSWER IS “YES”… DON’T TELL ME!
#2. Call The Center For Disease Control A.S.A.P!
Let’s face it, The Last Riders are only interested in 3 things: ORGYS, ORGYS, and tricking sexually inexperienced women into ORGYING.
“Knox was getting out of the biggest bed she had ever seen with a sheet barely covering his dick while two women burrowed under the blanket. Rider stood on the other side, unconcerned that his junk was waving everywhere.” ~ Diamond
SOOOO… Why don’t the heroines ever wonder about the cleanliness of The Last Riders’ beds before they gleefully jump into one? I mean, C’mon! You know those beds are crawling with random DNA. How ANYONE can SLEEP in those beds, much less feel all sexed up in them, is beyond me!
FOR REALS! *SHUDDERS*
#1. When Is A Choice Not Really A Choice?
When a Last Rider tells a woman she’s going to a “party” that’s really an “orgy”… AND he lets another Last Rider watch him touch her... AND he encourages another Last Rider to touch her too… AND he remains silent when another Last Rider sticks his dick in her mouth:
“She heard Rider ask, ‘Mind if I join you?’ ‘No,’ Knox said, thrusting a finger deep within her. ‘Yes,’ Diamond groaned. Rider moved towards them. ‘Knox?’ ‘Relax,’ Knox coaxed. Helplessly, Diamond leaned back against Knox’s chest. Then, Rider tilted her head so his cock was within reach of her mouth… After, they all came, reality returned with a rush of shame and recriminations.” ~ Rider, Knox & Diamond
You see, in-group settings, things like peer pressure, politeness, or amiability often inhibit the will to say no. Which is why women don’t CHOOSE to go to “parties” that turn out to be “ORGIES”, where strange men suddenly begin touching them, and unexpectedly shove their strange dicks in their mouths.
OR ANY OTHER PLACE WHERE PEOPLE DON’T KNOW THE DEFINITION OF THE WORD “CHOICE”.
Aaaaaand THAT’S why The Last Riders series is so creepy!

Reading yet another one hoping for a hero who loves his woman enough to say no to wanting to push her into the club kink....
so...
I really, really don't like the club orgy/sharing/voyeur stuff... and I find the hero's coercive behaviour (and the subtle threat of my way or the highway) to get the heroine involved really creepy.
It always striks me that the guys still having this deep seeded need and desire to 1) still REGULARLY watch other women have sex - other women that they've previously had sex with themselves and women who are the women the other guys are in love with (ewww - watching that is just creepy), and 2) having other men watch the women they supposedly love have sex with them and even join in sometimes, even after falling in love with and committing to these heroines, was a HUGE, ENORMOUS slap in the face of those heroines - it's basically saying "YOU'RE NOT ENOUGH for me". Plus it doesn't have perhaps the "safety" of porn - knowing the heroes are watching it with the impersonality, the distance and disconnect of seeing strangers do it on video - it's live and right in their faces and very very personal, specially when for the heroines it's women they know their "heroes" have previously been with - and who still want to be with their men (and it's other new women who if not for the heroines being there, the "heroes" would be hoping to be doing more with than just watching)... so it's also an added continual reminder of that shoved in their faces. And it's also men watching them, sometimes more than just watching, probably hoping for more, stuff most of them don't really want but the men they love want it and that love is being taken advantage of and they're coerced into giving in to it... Which all makes it really creepy and sad and hurtful and inconsiderate and selfish.
(as per book 1 and book 2).
My reviews of Shade's Fall and Lucky's Choice give a more detailed opinion on this series.
I really dislike this series so far. I've tried to finish each but I get so fucking annoyed I just skim and end up upset. These women have no self respect whatsoever. When it's time to fuck they throw their dignity and just open their legs. If you've read my reviews or went through my bookshelves you know that I'm not a prude when it comes to erotica or erotic romance and sex scenes. These women however have to jump through hoops for these arrogant douches then they just can't stop themselves from sharing their bodies and don't care that their men have basically fucked the whole club. Then if they do it again oh well. Just no. And I understand it's an MC but even then most old ladies I've read or heard about don't stand for none of that.
Diamond peeved me and Knox was just Knox. I didn't feel any spark between them and lust is not love.
To get positive, I really like Lily and Shade. I do pray to you dear author please don't make her a doormat but don't make her a bitch either. Somewhere in between preferably and don't make her into a groupie either. I really want to like this series but it's increasingly hard.
I'm obsessed with The Last Riders series! I was a little bummed out when the author announced that the next one will be Knox. I was kinda hoping for Shades but hey! I'm not really complaining because ever since book 2, I've been so curious about Knox and his piercings!
The book started of with a BANG! and I mean it literally with Knox banging the shit out of the women!
“You’re a marshmallow.” “I am not a fucking marshmallow!”
Knox... sexy, rough, dominant and huge- not just by height but also down *cough!* there. He's the biggest member of The Last Riders MC with completely bald head. Framed for murder, he needs Diamond to prove his innocence...
“You got something against color?” “I like a calm environment.” “Any more calm and you’d be dead.”
Where do I even begin with this guy? I adored him. I loved that his dominant but also softy. I knew he has some piercings down there but I didn't expected him to be HUGE and likes a rough sex. Let me tell you, He's a fuckin' sex machine! I thought Viper is the one that has a big sexual appetite but I was damn wrong. Knox can fuck for hours. He has some skill that no one else has.. he sure knows how to use those piercings.
Diamond.. the stuck-up bitch with curvy figure, red hair and big breasts. She's a struggling lawyer who grew up in the MC club. She hated her father who was the President of The Destructors and didn't agree with their lifestyle. Wanting a fresh start, she decided to move to Treepoint. Representing as Knox lawyer, she needs to prove he's innocent.
“This is what I want from you, Diamond.” “It’s yours, Knox. Take me.”
I don't really know how I feel about Diamond. I liked her from the start but at times grate on my nerves. She started off as a strong independent woman but became weak throughout the story! I didn't like how she begged and didn't asked for commitment, love or even infidelity to Knox. She hated her father for cheating on her mother and now she's doing the same fuckin' thing. From being strong, she ended up with no backbone at all.
“Kiss me. Forget there’s anyone in the room”
Ahh.. the sharing and watching. Seriously, these people fuck non stop!! I loved all the members (even the girls!) but I'm still not warming up on the club rules and friday party. These rules irked me but Jamie Begley does it with so much sensuality that even though I don't like sharing, it had me panting like a bitch! The scene with but thank god, it was only one time. I'm a weird reader so...
I have one question though.. there's 7 members... Razer, Viper and Knox are now taken.. so only Shades, Rider, Cash and Train are available. What will happen to Evie, Jewell, Bliss and the rest of the girls when all the guys are taken?
Anywho~ Knox's Stand is by far the most hilarious, intriguing and arousing book out of the series! Did anyone expected this?! There were a lot of parts that had me laughing so hard!
Please don't click if you haven't read the book yet...
Overall... once again a great addition to the series! The pacing is pretty good, no dull moments. There were some shocking revelations and Knox decisions that you wouldn't expect! After reading this, I am totally in loved with Knox!
Jamie Begley has outdone herself, this author did not disappoint me! It's your typical MC biker world with a lot of twist, turn and humping that will leave you breathless! I loved that we not only get to see the rest of the gang but also new characters and possibility a new series!
Now I can't wait for Shades and Lily! Omg! It's really happening guys! I'm just hoping and crossing my fingers that
This was my first book by this author and I decided to read it based on the cover. I haven't read the previous books and I didn't have any problems with this one as a stand alone.
Overall, the idea was good but the writing ruined it. I am a big fan of biker books, but this one kind of fell flat for me for several reasons. First, the way it was written - I can't pinpoint what went wrong, but it seemed like the story was too mechanic. It lacks feeling somehow, like it was a script and not a book. Second, the characters were cardboard figures - no depth for either of them and the romance was seriously lacking. Except for the physical attraction, there was no hint of feelings. Third, the hero went and changed drastically at the end. There is no way his behavior is consistent with the way he acted throughout the book. Fourth - the sex scenes were painfully bad, especially the ones witnessed at the club. No sensuality, just basic "lick that, suck this, insert and move back and forth". I am sorry, but it really didn't do it for me. Fifth - like I said, I like biker books, but the atmosphere in this one didn't quite match with what I expect from an MC. And the whole admission process for the women really is over the top - I am pretty convinced that no biker would stand for his old lady to go through it.
That being said, I am not tempted to read the other books in this series.
I was really hoping for Lili and shade story but still decided to read this one since I though the second book was a lot better then the first I was wrong I did not feel any chemistry between knox and diamond i wish his background was explain a lot better and sooner cause the way he treated diamond was just douchie And Diamond Diamond Diamond Damn she was as worse if not more then Beth.
Please please dont make Lili a doormat and let her keep her self respect Pleaseeeee!!!!! Lol
Not really entertaining. The characters's actions-reaction were a little bit childish in my opinion so difficult for me to take this story seriously. All along i was looking for badass bikers , but what i get was ... manwhores . Like so many reviews have pointed out , it 'is not a MC's story but a sex club story. And even the sex scenes weren't steamy enough to hold my focus. As for the suspense... wait , what suspense???? Pfffffffff...
Not great at all, too much OW stuff here. By far the least favorite of all these books in this series. It should have been so much better, why did Knox have to be such an emotional sink, he absorbed Diamond and her personality until she was left looking like a fool. All for a woman who passed away 20 some years ago? I don't appreciate a hero who can't make up his mind that the living breathing woman in front of him deserves any more than someone to whom he made promises as a young man and who is no more. In that case, just stay in love with the dead woman, because it is unfair for a woman to fight a ghost. Not to mention Knox was quite a jerk for most of the book. I still don't understand the episode when Jewel or Bliss, someone jumps up at the dinner table and declares that Knox should never be asked to be faithful, there was a lesson in objectification for him and sheer stupidity on the part of Diamond. This book made me gag a bit, so not a good experience overall.
My least favorite book from the series. Diamond was just a bitch! thought her sh*t didn't stink, when all this time her sister sex piston had paid for her college, now she is this little time lawyer and acts like everyone is beneath her. Bitch, get a grip!
Knox, one of the bigger man whores of the last riders MC; likes his sex rough and in multiples. So, I didn't see what chubby Diamond could possible offer him, but oh well. Book read, time wasted!
I've really had to try hard to stick with this series just to get to Lilly & Shades book ( I'm now I'm dreading reading it tbh) These books aren't about a MC, they are more about a swingers club and the females are just pathetic, the minute they get a bit turned on (which seems to be at the drop of a hat) they are incapable of any rational thoughts, and I'm sorry but ever-ready women that are just hanging around waiting to get the nod from any guy is just too unbelievable for me.
"Oh yeah, you're wet...Let's see how much wetter you can get."
The good: Interesting plot and story line; engaging characters; and very good pacing.
The bad: Other than I didn't want this book to end? NOTHING that I could think of.
In general:Holy hell, did I enjoy this book!!
Initially, when I first heard that Jamie Begley was going to release Knox's book before Shade I was like, "WHY?!?!". But I have to say after reading Viper's Run and seeing a threesome of Viper and Knox on Winter (well technically, Knox was giving Winter oral) I couldn't help but be kind of curious about him.
I'm so glad that I took a chance and decided to read this book because I was blown away! The characters and story kept me so enraptured and engaged that I didn't notice time going by and was just ripping through this story.
Diamond Richards, a red head, is a lawyer and knows what it's like to be part of the MC world. After all, her father was once the MC president of another club. Determined to get away and distance herself from that life, she moves to Treepoint to start over.
Knox, yes that's his name and I honestly don't even know if that's even his real name, is a former Navy Seal and the muscle of The Last Riders. He's completely bald (he shaves his head guys), dangerous, overprotective, and is known for his feracious sexual appetite. Did I mention that he's tattooed and also has piercings "down there" was well?! So sexy!
When Knox gets tangled in a murder accusation, Diamond gets assigned to his case and the two are forever changed.
As feelings begin to grow and Knox not wanting to commit to a relationship how will it all turn out? Is Knox the killer and if not, who is? And will Diamond ever find peace in the MC world?
My thoughts: Once again, I have to squeal and fangirl how much I loved this book! It was so undeniably arousing and enthralling that I read half of it in one sitting and went to bed (hey, new ebook releases don't come out till 9-9:30pm my time), and then finished it the next morning.
Knox was THE alpha male. I wanted to jump in the book and hump his leg! Buahahaaha! Knox has a past of his own and has his reasons as to why he does not want to commit to one single woman.
As for Diamond, I could also see why she didn't want to initially get involved or associated with anyone from the Last Riders since she's seen the extent of what it could cause.
I thought the give and take between Knox and Diamond panned out very nicely. They balanced each other very well and it was pleasing to see Diamond not be some weak female heroine that gets totally monoplized by their man. Knox is a heathen but Diamond does have enough backbone to call him out and not neccessarily bend over backwards to his will. How refreshing!
An over all, 5 salivating stars for this orgasmic read! Thank you to my buddy for kindle loaning this book to me since I'm so broke ass!! lol!
"Get some sleep. I plan on fucking you again in an hour."
Of the three books in this series, this is the one I liked the least by a fairly wide margin. Most of the things the other two books got right, this one got wrong. It started out so well too! Diamond Richards/Richard (I'll get to that in a second) is the daughter of the former president of the Destructors. An incident in her child where she accidentally spotted her father cheating on her mother has caused her to be extremely distasteful of the biker lifestyle and what she saw as something that made her mother miserable. So even though I don't agree with her judgey attitude, I also got it. She is also the older sister of Sex Piston, who has been one of my favorite supporting characters from the previous novels. Diamond is hired by Viper to represent Knox when he is accused of the murder of Samantha, an odious, spiteful woman who was featured in the previous two books, and along the way she and Knox start doing the dirty.
Unfortunately the lack of editing in the prior books is even more evident in this one -- most notably when the author can't seem to decide if Di's last name is Richard or Richards. This is further evidenced when we get Sam's backstory and finally get an answer to the missing baby question that was introduced in the first two books. I really wondered if Jamie Begley had read her own previous books before writing this one. The spelling and grammatical errors also seemed to be worse with this one, with misuse of their/there/they're and your/you're being common, words missing, and odd grammar. I could always tell what the author meant but the errors were so out of control with this one that it took me out of the story. Once again, the non-sexual dialogue didn't flow well, especially not for a story meant to be set in the South, where contractions are used on a regular basis. I will say, however, that Begley gives good sex scenes and the dialogue in the smutty bits doesn't seem to have the stilted quality that it does in the more plot-driven scenes.
I was hoping for a lot more from Knox's Stand. It was established early on that Knox is a bit more extreme in his sexual preferences than Viper and Razer, as evidenced by the past references to doing everything (and presumably everyone) with Rider, the presence of his Prince Albert and the stated preference for a bite of pain with sex, and Diamond, with her history and her lack of piety had the potential to be a lot more raunchy than Beth and Winter. I was hoping we might actually get a real menage scene or, even better, a couple who, at the end, acknowledged what they enjoyed sexually, set responsible rules for their lifestyle, and got their happily ever after in spite of not having two-person, vag-and-mouth-only bedroom habits. Instead, I got a menage scene... kinda... after which Diamond declares that even though she totally enjoyed it, she refuses to do it again for no other reason than Morals. Here's my thing: if you're uncomfortable with something sexually, don't do it. Don't like anal because it hurts or you're worried about the possible repercussions of tearing the inner lining of your anus? That's valid. Don't want to do a menage because you don't desire anyone but the man you love? Fine. But if you like something (and Diamond definitely did enjoy blowing Rider while being done by Knox), don't let your own mental slut-shaming be the reason you won't do it again. Knox wouldn't have judged Diamond for having a menage, and it even sounds like he'd have enjoyed it. She certainly enjoyed it when it was happening. So the fact that she refused to do it ever again seemed like nothing more than slut-shaming mental flagellation.
My other big problem with this story needs to be hidden behind a spoiler tag because it concerns events at the end of the book (not necessarily plot details, but definitely details on how Knox and Diamond's relationship is resolved, so click at your own risk).
Ultimately, this book was a let-down. All of the books in the series have presented a "different strokes for different folks" and "don't judge" mentality, but when it comes to the HEA, the author has fought to force all three couples into the same round peg. The beauty of these books has been the "don't judge" atmosphere and yet the HEAs never reflect that. To be honest, it worked for Beth's character (although maybe not for Razer, but whatever, I could deal). It kind of worked for Viper and Winter but I thought those two could easily have gone for a kinkier relationship. With Knox and Diamond? Sorry, but no I did not see these two settling down to a two-person sexual relationship and forcing them to do just that seemed like Jamie Begley was saying, "It's fine to have multiple partners when you're just screwing around, but having a menage when you're in a relationship is wrong and icky and people who do it don't deserve HEAs." I had no intention of reading Shade and Lily's story (Lily gets on my nerves with her frightened-ingenue, holier-than-thou, Mary-Sue-always-needs-to-be-protected attitude) and honestly, if I hadn't already bought Cash's story when I bought this one because I loved the first two so much, in spite of all of my issues, I wouldn't continue with this series after reading this one. As it is, I'm hesitant to read "Sex Piston" or "King" (Evie's story) because I'm pretty sure that Begley will do the same thing with those two and I just don't buy that two people who have acknowledged how much they like sex with multiple people (at least Evie has), and who have not only adopted but lived an "anything goes" attitude with sex would ever be satisfied with one-partner, vag-and-mouth-only sex for the rest of their lives. If someone has read those books and tells me otherwise, I'll pick them up, but "Knox's Stand" turned me entirely off of reading the rest of the series or any of Begley's spin-offs.
This story is about Knox and Diamond. Knox was introduced in the previous 2 books as the overgrown muscle packed member whose libidinous sexual appetite rivals Viper. He is the other half of the welcoming committee for new members; Rider being the other. I liked him in the previous books but this one not so much. He came across as a real douche with some of the actions and comments he made towards Diamond. Understandably, Diamond did come across as a real bitch initially but you come to realize her motives as the storyline progresses.
After crashing his bike while swerving to miss a squirrel (we’ll come to that in a minute), he bumps into Samantha and because he couldn’t keep it in his pants, even though it was agreed that everyone should stay away from Samantha, he ends up going to a motel with her. Unfortunately for him, Samantha is found dead the next day and Knox was identified as the last person to be seen with her. This is where Diamond comes in. She is a struggling lawyer who gets finagled by the MC members to represent Knox.
We find out that Diamond and Sex Piston are sisters that are complete polar opposites. Diamond and Sex Piston grew up in the MC world and were familiar witnessing the wicked and wild lifestyle. While Sex Piston embraced it. Diamond was disgusted and rejected it because she could never forget the childhood memory of seeing her father cheat on her mother. This is the reason Diamond initially comes across as bitchy and rigid when she meets Knox and the rest of the crew. The promiscuous lifestyle brought up bad memories.
Eventually, sparks ignite between them and they end up of having sex or a lot of sex because it is Knox after all. Diamond begins to fall hard for Knox but he refuses to return the feelings because of his past. He was previously married and lost his wife. He felt that falling in love with Diamond betrayed the memory of his dead wife. The backstory to this was a little hazy and could have used more detail.
Knox came across as a real douche for most of the book with the way he treated Diamond. His callous treatment of her feelings was just disgusting by continually pushing her away and telling her that she was only a temporary fling and that he doesn’t care about her. It was heartbreaking to witness his treatment of her. But what really upset me the most was Diamonds reaction. Instead of kicking him to the curb like the dog that he is, she begs him to stay with her even going as far as saying that she’ll accept whatever she can get from him even if he cheats and doesn’t love her back. WTF? What happened to the strong minded Diamond with the backbone that we were first introduced to? That Diamond would have told Knox to go f**k himself. Instead, we see a woman who throws away her dignity and self-respect and pathetically begs a man to stay with her. Even in the end, when he admits his feelings, he never took responsibility for his coldhearted treatment of her. She should have had him begging for her forgiveness.
On a lighter note, Jamie continues with the theme of adding humor into the storyline. The part where Stud barges into the club house demanding to give back their women but they could keep Killyama was hilarious. As well as the part where Diamond calls Knox a marshmallow because he crashes his motorcycle to avoid hitting a squirrel.
I’ve become addicted to this series and anxiously await to read Train’s story. I rated this slightly lower because I hated the lack of respect Knox show’s Diamond and her spineless reaction.
Right first of all I will start by saying that the writing style of this book is so much better its not so stilted and formal like I found the previous books, I also found that this male lead was actually ok and not an ass like the previous ones but saying that WTH was up with Diamond??? One minute she had a grudge against her father for cheating but then suddenly she was going to accept Knox doing the same as long as she felt he cared about her..... Oh come on woman have some pride no man is worth that much love if you feel they can cheat on you!!! I don't know if there was a morale in the story about accepting someone as they are and love conquers all but I just found it simply disgusting that a woman is willing to accept infidelity as long as he stays with her I don't know about other people but that's just wrong on so many levels. I actually didn't think I could dislike another female lead more than Beth but Diamond wins hands down! I gotta say I enjoyed the snippets of Shade and Lily more then the two main leads it is nice to see the male actually doing all the running and for once the female not going all ga ga over him I hope JB keeps up that theme and actually provide us with a stronger female then the ones she has written so far. I have my fingers crossed that Shade's book will be the first one I give higher then 3 stars. This author has talent but I always feel so let down by her weak and clingy females which is such a shame as her storylines are quite good. So far I like the sound of Lilly but we will see what happens. Overall ok book but totally despised Diamond!
I'm to the point now where I'm hate reading these books. The women are total doormats and their behavior drives me bonkers. But, I'm really interested in reading about Shade and Cash so I'll keep stupidly chugging along wondering 'why' the whole time.
I started this series last week and put the first one down after a few chapters.. I needed a new series to read while on vacation and this was all I had on my kindle at the time.. I finished the first two somehow.. I love biker romances with cocky but sweet on the inside guys.. These guys were just jerks with women they walked all over.. It was just too fake for me to even enjoy.. I skimmed half the book.. I don't like this authors writing style at at.. It was just so fake and pathetic to read! Nothing seemed real to me.. The way this author write just confuses the heck out of me..
Half the time I had no idea who was even talking as she wrote sentences so crazy, like... "Want to grab some lunch?” Diamond smiled as Caleb Green came to stand next to her as she snapped her briefcase closed. -That was a man saying that to her but every time she has any dialogue going back and forth between characters it just gets way too confusing! I had to re read so many paragraphs to even try to understand who said what.. I started this book and couldn't finish it half way through.. It took too much work to even try to enjoy it! The women in this series are the worst push overs ever.. There was nothing sweet or romantic.. So dull and sounded nothing like a biker romance book usually does! I don't know if this auother is a lot older but her writing style is def. like that.. The men were saying things that just made no sense or there was no way some of the things they said even made sense.. I would def not waste my time or money on this series... Just really let down as I really wanted a new biker romance to read!! I love my cocky arrogant guys that actually have hearts of gold but still are tough guys.. But this, just way too fake and gosh I can't even explain anymore! You'll just see what I'm talking about if you want to punish yourself reading this series! Now the Breakneck series or the book Undeniable.. Those are some great biker romance books with enough grit and romance! This this boring book!!!! Don't waste your money!!!!
I am seriously considering un-friending/un-following some of you guys as you are what as known as BAD INFLUENCES. I've been trying to read All the President's Men for three weeks now and am on page 5 at most.
So, let's talk about Knox. He's a man-whore with heart of gold and...I can't write it. Anyhow, it was paint by the number MC club stuff pretty much until I got to Diamond's mom's home cooked meal. Hysterical! Who knew my mother and a MC old lady nicknamed Sizzle would have something in common: terrible cooking.
Oh yeah, and the h has a sister named Sex Piston. What's not to love.
Bernstein and Woodward kinda pale in comparison.
Okay, I dropped the book down to two stars. The high point of the story was the dinner scene which is odd when you consider how much sex and what varied sex there is. Okay couple, but I am more interested in Shade and Lily.
All the gratuitous sex with just any ole anybody kind of creeps me out which begs the question why did I read this in the first place.
This series is addictive. Start at the beginning with Razer and you will truly fall in love with this series.
I really enjoyed this book, it contained everything you could hope for in the world of MC, they are quirky in the way that they operate and to say they have loose morals is an understatement. It might not be your cup of tea but keep an open mind. Knox is the STUD! Oh, My! Someone pass me a fan, please. Seriously, don't say I didn't warn you. Diamond is a hard-working girl who grew up in an MC. Her goals are to live and be as far away from them as possible. What's a girl to do? Knox's story is heartbreaking, Will he give her a chance, will he give himself a chance? Happy Reading!
These books were recommended to me on FB and I’m about ready to call it a day - really don’t know what it is about this author, but I really hate her books and the way she makes the H cheat and force the h into a situation she isn’t ok with. The author uses peer pressure to make forcing the h to have sex with other members of the club, and the H expects her to be ok with it and if she isn’t - welp ok then - too bad you can’t be with me anymore I’m the way I am - - well the h doesn’t have a backbone and “falls in love” and goes running back to him and ok’ing his lifestyle and just - excepting it!! Not ok. The H are always cheaters and have sex with whomever. If the rest of her books are like this - forget it.
I really love these characters. Still not liking the public sex,but I am enjoying this series. Shade and Lily's story is next.Looking forward to that one,but I am afraid of what Lily's background is going to be,some kind of abuse for sure. So far so good..each addition keeps getting better! off to Shade's
“I have everything we need now except, Knox, I think we need to buy a small island,” she said, picking up a pocketknife. “A small island?” Knox turned toward her, taking the knife out of her hand. “Yes.” Diamond nodded enthusiastically. “Did you know that you can buy small islands? They’re kind of expensive, but if we save, we could buy one in a few years.” “Diamond…” Knox started to say something, but closed his mouth. “Why an island? “Because zombies can’t swim,” she answered, placing another item in the box. Knox just stared at her. “They can’t?” Knox tried his hardest not to laugh when he saw she was serious. “Can they?” she asked, looking at him with a quizzical expression.
