September is for Shaw

Rate this book
The heat between them might be the only force that can thaw this mountain man’s frozen heart.
Eden
When I was a little girl, my grandfather filled my head with stories about the rugged beauty of Montana. Once I inherited his cabin, I couldn’t wait to move out west. Montana is everything I hoped it would be from the stunning sunsets to the perfect peacefulness. There’s only one thing, or should I say one person, who’s liable to spoil it for me… my new neighbor. He’s grumpy and gruff and hotter than a wildfire blazing out of control. He might think he can run me off, but I’m here to stay. At least until my past comes looking for me… then Shaw might be the only one who can save me.

Shaw
The mountains have always been my refuge. Until Eden moves in. The curvy yoga instructor doesn’t belong on Mustang Mountain, not with her herd of goats and habit of taking bare plunges in the creek. She thinks she can tame the Montana wilderness with one of her wide, bright smiles, but she’s wrong. Until one night changes everything. I’m determined to be the man she needs, even if it means risking my own heart.

Welcome to Mustang Mountain, where love runs as wild as the free-spirited horses who roam the hillsides. Framed by rivers, lakes, and breathtaking mountains, it’s also the place the Mountain Men of Mustang Mountain call home. They might be rugged and reclusive, but they’ll risk their hearts for the curvy girls they love.

Eden moved to her grandfather’s cabin in Mustang Mountain after he left it to her in his will. Shaw was her nearest neighbour and wasn’t happy when she moved in with her goats!! When Ruby made him mountain man of the month and then set him up to work with Eden on the harvest festival neither can deny their feelings for long. Sweet, steamy story with amazing chemistry, laugh out loud moments, a grumpy but loving hero and a wonderful HEA.

OMG!!! WOW!! Fab*u*lous Absolutely love this one!! I couldn't put this one down. This was a nice quick, short read.

Shaw meets Eden when her goat escapes and has custom leather bike seat. Eden just moved to Mustang Mountain, her grandfather passed away and left his cabin and business to her. Shaw is Eden's neighbor, he was supposed to buy his neighbors land when he had enough money. Shaw was making plans for the cabin and the businesses that Eden's grandfather owned. After Shaw's run in the Eden his brother Caden calls to let him know that Ruby has him as Mountain Man of the Month. The next day Eden heads to the store that's owned by Ruby and Orville. Ruby tells Eden about the small business associations meeting after talking about the soaps she makes with her goat milk. Ruby tells Eden about the next big event the Harvest Festival and lets her know they need more help. After Ruby walks away Eden runs into Shaw, they starts arguing about his bike seat. Ruby comes back and lets Shaw and Eden know they'll be helping each other out with the kiddie carnival. Later in the day while Shaw is working on a car he can't keep his mind off of wondering about Eden, he doesn't know how he's going to work with her. Soon Eden shows up with a cellophane wrapped basket, she tells Shaw she thinks they got off on the wrong foot, both times they've met. Shaw asks her what is it and Eden tells him just some of her stuff she makes and sells. Eden asks Shaw if they can talk about the festival, she wants to get involved. Shaw tells her that he's been handling the carvel on his own for the past couple of years. Shaw asks Eden if there's another part she could help with, she tells him everyone else is all set. Shaw suggest that Eden set up a kid size petting zoo, and she likes that idea. Shaw tells Eden he needs to get back to work, but she notices he's in pain. Eden tells him she has some liniment that would help with his pain, but Shaw tells her he's good. Eden doesn't have any running water in the cabin and is waiting on a plumber. So Eden decided to take a dip in the creek to wash up. The water is cold but refreshing, Eden lets out a scream when she slips on a rock. While she's rinsing her hair she hears Shaw asking her what she's doing. Eden ducks under the water, Shaw asks her if she's alright. Eden tells him she's okay and asks him what he's doing here. Shaw lets her know he was chopping wood what he heard her scream, he thought she was hurt. Eden tells him she's just taking a bath. Shaw asks her if she always bathes outside, Eden tells him her water doesn't work. Shaw asks her if she turned on the pump, and Eden asks him what pump. Shaw tells Eden about the pump her grandfather installed. Shaw tells her he'll show her where it is, but Eden doesn't want to get out until he leaves. Shaw tells her he's not looking, and she gets out and slips her robe on. Shaw shows Eden the pump is in her closet, the scent of her overwhelms him. So Shaw asks Eden to make sure she has water before he leaves. Before Shaw leaves Eden tells him she want to put liniment on his back, but he tells her he's fine. Eden grabs the liniment and asks him to tell her where it hurts. As Eden rubs his back she asks him how it feels, Shaw tells her amazing. Eden offers Shaw the liniment but he tells her he can't reach the spot. Eden tells him she'll stop by tomorrow to help but Shaw tells her that's not necessary. Eden tells him that she knows her stuff is good, but if he wants to tell his grumpasaurus that his back doesn't feel better he can go right ahead. Shaw leaves Eden standing on her front porch. Eden spend the next few days getting unpacked, and securing the pens for her goats. Eden sits out on her front porch watching the sun, go down, and then the first stars. Eden here is the snap of a twig, and she knows she hasn't seen any bears or other wildlife since she moved in. Eden then here's a man's muffled voice, too low for her to hear she burst out of her chair, heads into her cabinet and lock the doors. Eden sees a dark shapes past the end of her porch, she sends Shaw a text message. Eden doesn't know how long it takes him to get there as soon he's pounding on the door asking her if she's okay. Shaw ask her what happened and she asked him if he seen anyone then tells him what happened. Shaw tells her to go take a look Eden tells him to be careful. When he comes back, he tells her he sees a fresh set of foot prints leading to the creek, then tells her there's been a few break-ins in the area. Shaw thinks that Hades scared them off, Eden asks who's Hades is. Shaw whistles and calls Hades, who comes and nuzzles into Shaw. He tells her he won't hurt her, and then tells her about Hades. Shaw tells Eden there's been a few break ins in the area, but the sheriff only has a few leads. Shaw asks Eden if she's running from someone, and she tells him maybe. Eden tells Shaw about her business partner back in Asheville. Shaw asks her if she'll be alright for the rest of the night, Eden tells him she's sure she'll be fine. Shaw asks her if she wants him to stay, his brother Caden's out of town. Eden tells him that would be okay with her if it would make him feel better. Shaw tells her yeah it would make him feel better if she would let him hang out on her couch. Eden and Shaw head to her couch where they find a movie to watch but she's out before the movie starts. Shaw changes the channel when Eden falls asleep but she has her head on his shoulder, when her head falls down to his stomach he drops the remote. When Eden's head moves farther down Shaw jumps, and she falls to the floor. Eden asks Shaw what he's watching and he fumbles looking for the remote that was kicked under the couch. Eden apologizes for falling asleep, she asks him if he wants anything else and he tells her he's good. Eden tells him she should put more liniment on his shoulder and Shaw tells her hell be fine. Eden insist, so he turns she rubs his back. Shaw turns back to look at Eden who asks him what's wrong. Shaw pulls Eden in and kisses her, she doesn't pull away so he continues. Shaw pulls her into his lap, Eden starts rocking her hips. Shaw pulls away and asks her if this is okay, Eden tells him yes, but wants to know if it's okay with him. Shaw asks her if he seems okay with this and Eden tells him she'll have to check. Shaw tells her he wanted to join her in the creek when he seen her in there, Eden asks him what he would have done, so he tells her. Soon Eden is undressing, Shaw's finger slowly trail down her breastbone. Shaw gets up and carries Eden to her bedroom. Shaw tells Eden to take off her panties, and her bra. Shaw tells her it's been a while for him, Eden tells him she hasn't been with anyone in a while either. Shaw pleasures Eden then they make love. The next week passes by quickly, Shaw is at the garage during the day and spending every night with Eden. Caden is out of town with Mack May is for Mack looking at sled dogs, so Shaw doesn't have to worry about him. Shaw takes Eden out on a motorcycle ride to Bliss Lake, he packs a picnic to share at the lake. Shaw tells Eden about his past and what happened to his parents. Shaw left college to take care of his brother Caden when his parents were killed in a car accident. When they head back to the cabin, Caden's coming home so Shaw won't be able to spend the night with Eden. When they get to Eden's cabin there a small sedan parked in front. Soon a man is calling out to Eden, she finds out it's her business partner, Cory. Eden finds out that Cory wants her to come back, the business is failing without her. Eden left because Cory wanted to expand and wouldn't listen to her, she doesn't want to go back. Eden tells Cory to go, but he tells her he'll get in touch with her. Shaw tells Eden he needs to go pick up his brother Caden and he thinks she needs some time to think. Eden tells him she's not going back everything she wants is here. Shaw tells her everything he wants is here too. Shaw tells Eden he's already fallen for her, he loves her. Eden tells him she loves him too, he better get used to it she's not going anywhere. Shaw asks her if she wants him to come back, she tells him she has an early meeting with Ruby. Shaw asks her to stop by the garage when she's finished with her meeting with Ruby. Then tomorrow night he wants to take her to the clubhouse to introduce her to his MC brothers. The next day Shaw wants to surprise Eden so he heads to the store, but when he arrives Eden is already gone. When he sits down with Ruby to have a cup of coffee she tells him it's nice to see the two families getting along. Shaw asks her what does she mean. Ruby tells him the accident of course. Ruby tells Shaw she knows he's not one to hold a grudge. Shaw asks Ruby if she said anything to Eden, she didn't realize Eden didn't know about the accident. Ruby tells Shaw after they had tea Eden said she didn't feel well and headed back to her cabin. Shaw takes off and heads to Eden's cabin, when he arrives her SUV is still in the driveway. When Shaw gets to the door an envelope is is there with his name screwed across the front. Eden comes out and tells him she was hoping to be gone when he found that. Shaw asks her what is going on, Eden asks him why he didn't tells her. Shaw tells her it was an accident, Eden tells him she looked it up online. Eden asks Shaw if that's why he promised him the cabin and businesses. Shaw tells her he doesn't want it, all he needs is her. Eden asks him how he can love her, Shaw asks her if she's going back to Asheville. Eden tells him everything is his, the paperwork is in the envelope. Shaw tells her he doesn't want it. Shaw tells her she changed his plans, all he needs is her. Eden asks him how can he say that after everything he lost. Shaw tells her he loves her then asks her to stay with him. Eden tells him she doesn't want to go, he tells her not to. Eden tells him she'll stay under one condition, Shaw tells her what ever it is it's a yes. Eden tells him he doesn't know what it is. Eden tells him to take the buildings, and the cabin. Shaw tells her he'll take them under one condition, they'll live in her cabin, and he'll build her a place to run her yoga studio and goat store and whatever else she wants. Eden tells him living together is serious. Shaw tells her it's is, it means not leaving when things get tough. Eden tells him it also means no secrets. Shaw tells her they need to take this inside. Shaw is no longer alone, love found him, or he found love. Doesn't matter, either way with Eden by his side he was finally truly happy.

It starts off with Shaw at home and him hearing metal outside his house. A goat, named Scapegoat, eats the seat on motorcycle when the new neighbor finds her goat, she apologetic, but Shaw is beyond ticked because the seat was custom made and cost him 500. Eden, is the granddaughter of the neighbor that promised Shaw he’d give him his land that has his cabin and a storefront in town. But since he died and his granddaughter doesn’t know anything of this- Shaw & Eden get off on even more of the wrong foot. Plus, I agree with her assessment of Mr. Grumpy. Lol. Shaw has a younger brother, Caden, who works for Mack, who runs dogs for sledding etc. Plus, Shaw & Mack are of the Mustang Mountain MC, and they’ve been men of the month- it’s Shaw’s turn for September, much to Ruby’s glee. Lol That woman is having waaaay too much fun with all of this.

Eden has goats because she makes products like goat milk soap, etc. Eden got away from a bad business break up with Cory. He wanted more and she didn’t so she went cross country to her gramps’ land. Shaw and Eden keep getting in each other’s way which causes them to spend a lot of time together. The one thing I was disappointed about is that Hades and Persephone and the puppies were either just mentioned or there for like a page. *sniffles* MORE not less of the Hades.

After a lot of stuff happening, Eden and Shaw realize just how good they have it and they work together for the kiddie festival. Nate & Dean (men of the month to be- November & December) are making a run for it, in trying to avoid Ruby and her matchmaking… lol. Yeah that is so going to work… NOT! Lol. I can’t wait to read those books.

Grumpasaurus meets his match!

Eight years ago when Shaw was a college sophomore, his life was changed forever. There was a car accident where his mother was killed and his father died 2 days later. His younger brother, Caden, was in 5th grade. Shaw quit school and returned home to raise Caden rather than sending him to their aunt in another state.

Shaw works as a mechanic in town but he had big plans for his future. He'd saved almost enough for the down payment on the cabin and a building in town owned by his neighbor, Leroy Sugarman. He was going to have his dream garage where he could work on vintage vehicles not just routine maintenance jobs.

But Leroy died and left everything to his granddaughter, Eden. Eden showed up with her goats in tow with plans to live in the cabin and open a business selling goat milk based soaps and lotions along with giving yoga lessons. She's  moved cross country to get away from her ex-boyfriend/ex-business partner, Cory.

Eden meets Shaw while hunting for her missing goat, Scrapegoat, who was munching on Shaw's $500 custom motorcycle seat. Needless to say, Shaw wasn't happy but he was instantly drawn to her.

Ruby Nelson from Nelson's Mercantile has named Shaw the September Man of the Month. She's already paired Shaw with Eden to work at the Harvest Festival. Eden is sure Shaw hates her and refers to him as grumpasaurus.

Things are finally going well with Eden and Shaw until Ruby spills a secret about Leroy's past before Shaw can. Will this the end of their relationship?

This is book nine in The Mountain Men of Mustang Mountain series and it is Shaw and Eden’s story. When Eden’s grandfather passed away he left her his cabin in Montana because when she was smaller he used to tell her so many stories and she was looking forward to living there especially because it would take her away from her ex boyfriend Cory who used to also be her business partner and nobody will drive her away not even her grumpy next door neighbour as Eden was here to stay regardless of what was thrown at her. Shaw hadn’t had a easy life as his parents died so he left college so that he could return home to be with and look after his younger brother Caden so now years later and Shaw is a mechanic and wanted to expand his business only for the man to die and leave it all to his granddaughter Eden who was now his next door neighbour and Shaw is so disappointed but angry that it stopped him from expanding his business. When Eden and Shaw meet things don’t go very well at all but what they couldn’t deny was the instant attraction between them and when they have to work together for the harvest festival things between them seem to start to get better until Eden’s past arrives and secrets are revealed causing complications but is this the end for Eden and Shaw or will they be able to work through there issues and communicate so that they can get the happiness that they both deserve. I absolutely love this book and series so much and even though they are short stories they certainly pack a punch and are definitely worth reading and I can’t wait to read the next book in this series.

Eden rubs Shaw the wrong way from their very first meet. Everything from her mischievous goat, to her hippie/boho carefree style and his attraction to her curves irks him. Especially the fact that her late grandfather gave her the very property he promised to sell to Shaw. After saving years for a down payment while raising his little brother, his dream was almost in his grasp. When meddling Ruby pairs Eden with him to help work at the harvest festival, he’s just over his new neighbor.
After her life in Asheville imploded, inheriting her grandfather’s property in Montana is the fresh start Eden needs. Except she isn’t sure what to think of her grumpasaurus neighbor. She’s very drawn to the lumberhottie even though it’s clear he does not feel the same attraction to her. No matter how she tries to make up for their first meeting, for some reason, he seems determined to dislike her.
Except Shaw keeps coming to her rescue. And eventually he stops fighting his attraction. He realizes he needs to let go of his anger over not getting to buy the property and open his own business. Besides, now he wants to focus on a new dream, a future with Eden.
But can their new relationship survive when Eden’s old life wants her back and it’s revealed that her grandfather was the cause of Shaw’s parents’ deaths?.

Shaw, the male mountain man mechanic lead, is shocked and bitterly disappointed when Eden, the female lead, moves into the property next door because he had a gentleman’s agreement with her grandfather to buy it when he had a big enough deposit. When Eden reveals her grandfather is dead and her family knew nothing about any agreement and she has her own plans for the property, he’s frustrated and hopes she gets sick of the mountains soon and goes away. But he is attracted to her and, as they keep running into each other, he finds he likes her too. Then her ex-business partner comes to beg her to come back where she came from, and then Eden finds out why her grandfather was going to sell the property to him…

This short story is dual POV, well written, and an engaging grumpy/sunshine addition to this contemporary mountain man/small town romance series. I enjoyed Shaw’s gruff but caring personality. I enjoyed Eden’s contrasting cheerful, perky outlook. I enjoyed their relationship development and their intimate moments. I enjoyed Shaw’s character development and Eden’s willingness to sacrifice for Shaw once she learned his history.

Insta lust quickly turns to love in this quick steamy read. Shaw is none too happy to meet his new neighbour or her goats. Her grandfather had made him a promise that seems unlikely to happen now that Eden has taken up residence. It is just another disappointment to add to his life. Losing his parents meant he was responsible for his younger brother and had to put aside his own plans for his future. Now it was time to make new plans again. He is also displeased that Ruby has put his picture up around town as the eligible bachelor for September. He is not looking for love or to be matched with anyone. Seems fate has other plans. Eden might be irritating and a nuisance, but she is also stunning with plenty of curves his hands are dying to touch and hold. He can’t deny her his assistance when she needs it, and he can’t deny the sparks when she touches him. Cue the fiery heat and plenty of steam. Let’s just say the Shaw is happily no longer on the matchmaking market and Ruby has her eye on the next bachelor in need of a love match.

MMC/FMC- Shaw, a mechanic, MC member, and mountain man and Eden a New Age purveyor of organic goat milk products who just inherited the property next door to Shaw.
POV- 1st person dual
Genre- Contemporary Romance
Sub Genre- Mountain Man Romance
Heat level- they do the thing and name the parts using the female P word and the male C word.
Series? Y
Safety: Y. No cheating/sharing, No OM/OW drama, no S. Violence, no cliffhanger, HEA/HFN.
Triggers- explicit erotic content
Tropes- Grumpy/Sunshine, BBW, Enemies to Lovers, Neighbors to Lovers
What I liked- this is everything you want in a light romance: a smart and likable heroine, a hot hero with a heart of gold, and both love and chemistry between them.
What I didn’t- not much. If I had to pick something, I’d have liked a little more of Ruby and the townsfolk. But maybe not.
Verdict- a good bedtime read that will only give you sweet dreams.

September is for Shaw is book 9 in the Mountain Men of Mustang Mountain series. It is a short and steamy, OTT, instalove, grumpy-sunshine, curvy girl gets her mountain man romance. Shaw is a hunky, grumpy mountain man and mechanic. Eden is a young hippie, curvy goat yoga instructor who recently moved to Mustang Mountain. When the two first meet, her goat is chewing up Shaw's motorcycle seat. He is upset to find they are neighbors as he had planned to buy that land from her grandfather. The two butt heads a few times, but when she thinks she hears someone outside, she calls Shaw, who comes running to help her. When he agrees to stay and keep her company, she falls asleep on him. When she wakes up, they finally give into their attraction, and things get steamy. As they continue to date, some things from the past come out. Can their love survive? Will Shaw be able to convince her that he's all in? After some low drama, we end up with a great HEA. I loved this short and steamy read!.

September is for Shaw is book nine of Mountain Men of Mustang Mountain series. Considering this is the first book in the series and the first time I've read the authors', Eve London and Dylann Crush, I can say that these are also standalone books, revolving around the small mountain town, Mustang Mountain in Montana.

This was a fun and relatively quick read. Shaw is the grumpy mountain man of the book, he's had a difficult life but he has plans and he's made a good life for himself and his younger brother. His life is turned upside down when he meets his new neighbour, Eden, who moves in after inheriting her estranged grandfather's cabin.

Love hits Shaw and Eden quickly, and their chemistry together is explosive. The couple are like oil and water in some ways but compliment each other well, which makes the rather rapid nature of their relationship make sense. Lots of fun and lots of feelings and a very satisfying ending.

It’s September for a certain single man of Mustang Mountain!!
I can’t believe we only have a couple more months before this series comes to a conclusion and I hate that. I have come to look forward to these books each month!
I enjoyed Shaw and Eden’s story. She’s a free spirit with a goat as her sidekick! But Shaw definitely isn’t happy with his new neighbor. He had plans for the property that was promised to him by her late grandfather, and they didn’t involve her. But when a threat from her old town follows her to Mustang Mountain and threatens what Shaw and Eden have growing between them, he knows it’s time to admit his feelings!
These stories may be short, but they have a good plot, are well written and have characters that are easy to fall in love with. And also just the right amount of spice that doesn’t take away from the story.
I can’t wait for Mr. October and read Owen and Kennedy’s story next!

Oh my gosh the way that Eden and Shaw first meet will have you laughing. Their second encounter isn't much better, you would think these two would never like each other with the way their first two meetings go. But you can also tell there's an underlying chemistry developing between these two.
When Eden's past comes back to haunt her, Shaw is right by her side supporting her. But when Eden learns a truth regarding her grandfather and Shaw, cue the drama as it gets intense. Luckily, Shaw is able to convince Eden to listen to him so they can work thru the issue. This one is a definite page turner that will have you hooked from the start. You won't want to put it down once you start reading it as you will have to know what's going to happen next. These two are such a fun couple and I really enjoyed their story.
The epilogue has me looking forward to October's book.

Scapegoat and the lumberhottie

September is for Shaw is another smexy hot and fun read in this series. Shaw is a big, burly and grumpy mountain man who lived almost at the top of Mustang Mountain and works as a mechanic at the local shop in town. He has a dream and plans which involve buying the land above him and the building in town from Leroy Sugarman so he can open his custom motorcycle shop. But plans change when he meets his new neighbor, Eden Sugarman. It turns out that Leroy passed a couple of months ago and Eden inherited her grandfather's cabin, land and the building in town. She has plans to start her life over again and that involves her goats, a business making soaps and lotions, and teaching yoga. What she was not expecting was Scapegoat to make a first impression with the big lumberhottie that includes tearing a strip off his custom bike seat. Yep things are about to get right neighbourly.....or maybe not.

'The last thing I needed was to have Eden come over and start rubbing my back. I’d barely survived it once.
“That’s not necessary. I’m not even sure it helped.”
She rolled her eyes. “I know my stuff is good, Shaw. But if you want to tell your grumpasaurus self that your back doesn’t feel better, go right on ahead. Good luck with your wood.” My face burned.'

I read the last few books in this series and really enjoyed them and this one was no exception. I loved both Shaw and Eden. They didn't have the best first meeting (and I understood Shaw's reaction). But they had great chemistry, and I really loved some of their scenes together. Him discovering her bathing in the cold lake because she had no water pressure in her house was fun because he was trying so hard to keep himself under control. A fun, sweet read. I was also beyond ecstatic to see an appearance of Hades. I dream of meeting that wolf! lol Looking forward to the next book. 5 stars.

I enjoyed this story with all the characters within. The main characters were Eden and Shaw.

Eden has moved into her grandfather home in Montana. She has inherited his cabin. While looking for her goat she meets her next door neighbor. He not happy because there a goat eating his MC bike seat. She gets her goat and heads back to her grandfather cabin. But ever time she in counters her neighbor he is not so nice to her.

Shaw likes were he lives it quite and peaceful. That is until his next door neighbor goat interrupted his morning by eat his MC bike seat. He not happy that there a goat there. So when the owner shows up he yells at her. He is also surprised that someone moved in next door. His old neighbor was going to sell that place to him when he got enough money.

This was a fun short read. It had action and drama throughout. It had a few giggles within.

What an amazing short story! It looks like Ruby is ready for Shaw to find the one! Will she really need to find him someone or will he be able to catch her on his own? Eden has arrived on Mustang Mountain after going through an ordeal with an ex business partner. She has this goat that kinda destroys something of Shaw’s. That’s when they meet. Their first encounter doesn’t go so well. Eden apologizes and offers to take care of what her goat did. Shaw doesn’t want to hear it. As time goes on, it seems Eden starts to unthaw grumpy Shaw. After one incident happens, it seems Eden and Shaw’s relationship heats up. Their chemistry is off the charts. Before they take their relationship further, will something Ruby says to Eden one day make her rethink that her and Shaw were meant to be? Wait til you find out!

Shaw and Eden met when her goat was caught eating the seat from Shaw’s motorcycle. Eden became Shaw’s neighbor when she inherited her grandfather’s cabin. She decided to move there to get away from her business partner. As Eden make plans to start her business in town, Shaw was hoping he could open his own repair shop in the same building. She wants to get to know the town and is thrown together with Shaw to work on the kiddie carnival. Each time they are together, their attraction sizzles more and more. Will their relationship grow into something more serious? This was a great story. It was well-written, wonderful characters and had plenty of steamy passion. Highly recommend not only this book, but the whole series.

If you like grumpy mountain men, with a tragic past, gruff exterior and a heart of gold, then you will love Shaw. Names Ruby's man of the month, he isn't best pleased about it. When he meets his new neighbor Eden, he knows exactly what Ruby is up too.

He tries to stay away, but Eden is everything he wants, not that he will admit it.

Eden has run to the Montana hills to start afresh, she does not need a grumpy mountain man, making things hard for her. If only she could forget his face, his chiseled muscles and the way he makes her feel.

Cute and funny instalove with two main characters who hate to admit they want each other, everything seems to get in Thier way, but true love wins out.

A quick, sweet and fun instalove read.

Shaw was saving his money to buy the property from his neighbor Leroy so that he could open his dream garage and work on vintage vehicles. But Leroy leaves his property to his Granddaughter Eden. She's moved across the country to escape an ex-boyfriend/partner and open and sell goat milk, soaps/lotion, and give yoga lessons. When Shaw and Eden meet he is really grumpy towards her. She's looking for her goat, Scapegoat, who they find chewing on one of Shaw's expensive custom motorcycle seats. The more time they spend together Shaw changes his dream and now he's focusing on Eden and a future together. Eden and Shaw find out some depressing news that might change the outcome of their relationship. Will things work out for them to get their HEA? Read and find out.

I loved September is for Shaw Book 9 of Mountain Men of Mustang Mountain and I loved this series. Haven’t missed one yet. Short and sweet stories that give each month a hot, stubborn mountain man who has to push away his woman before he sees the light. Shaw doesn’t want or need a woman he just wants the land he was told he could buy. Unfortunately, Eden inherited the land and seems to drive Shaw insane but what about the electricity when they touch? Why is he so grumpy? I loved this storyline that had a little twist and the characters. I would definitely recommend this book and the series. Can’t wait for October!.

Edens grandfather left her his cabin, a building in town. Eden loaded up everthing even her goats and moved to the cabin. On her first day there one of her goats escapes from the pen and goes to the neighbors house. Its not how she wanted to meet her new neighbor by her goat eating his seat on his motorcycle.
Shaw was not happy a goat came out of no where and was eating his seat to his bike. Meeting Eden his new neighbor was not on the list either.
Getting off to a rocky and bumbling start, they finally started to get along. Eventually started to have feelings for each other. After a while they ended up getting married and living a great life together.

Absolutely loved this book and Ruby’s matchmaking way! This time, she is setting up Shaw. He is the man for September!

The characters were so heartwarming. Shaw, who came back from college to raise his younger brother after their parents died. He has been working to save money to buy a cabin but the owner dies before he can purchase it.

Then along comes Eden, who moved into her grandfather’s cabin, along with her goats. When one wonders off, she finds it chewing on Shaw’s custom motorcycle seat.

Shaw is drawn to Eden and the attraction/tension is phenomenal between these two. Throw in Ruby who pairs them up for the festival and sparks are sure to fly!.

Grumpy Shaw has found his match with free spirited Eden and her naughty goat. This was another great short story in the Mountainmen of Mustang Mountain series. I’ve enjoyed all of the stories and this one was especially good. It moved quickly and there was less of the other guys. It was truly more about Shaw becoming an orphan while at college and choosing to leave school to take care of his brother. And, Eden not understanding why her mother didn’t talk to Eden’s grandfather for a period of time when she was younger. Of course, it is all connected and all comes out with the town busybody. Their admiration and love for each other is captivating. Great story!

Eden’s “name” for Shaw was just awesome.
Grumpasaurus! Lol! But soo true. She doesn’t get why he can’t just forgive her for their first meet cute. She didn’t mean for Scapegoat to get out and eat his custom bike seat. What she doesn’t know is that her grandfather promised Shaw he could but the very cabin/land she was living in. Along with a storefront in town.
They get put together by the town matchmaker Ruby to work on the town festival. This makes Shaw realize he can’t run from his feelings. Just when they start to become a couple a huge wrench gets thrown out there about Shawn’s parents death. It could tear them apart. Or it could be what seals them together.

Another great installment for the men of the month series by my favorite three authors! I'm a big fan!

Shaw is a growly grumpy mechanic who is not looking for a partner, but as life would have it, is completely captivated by his new neighbor who is too sexy and sunshiny for his liking. Eden is feisty and very likeable woman looking for a new start in Mustang Mountain after her grandad left her his cabin, next to Shaw's.

I like that this was a short sexy book, with a lot of feels despite it being short, and also had an interesting twist at the end.

I can't wait for the next few books!

September is here folks! And so is Shaw, another Mountain Man who vows not to fall in love like a lot of his MC brothers!, life has been hard for him therefore he’s a bit of a grump especially when he meets his new neighbour. Eden is a free spirit, a happy go lucky person escaping her own issues. A goat brings them together (and Ruby of course the match maker for all these mountain men )soon feelings develop when Shaw comes to Edens rescue, she chips away at his heart that has been closed up for years. A quickie opposites attraction read with heat, some past secrets revealed and some drama to keep us on our toes. Owen is Mr October, can’t wait for that.

September is for Shaw brings us another match making endeavour by Ruby, and this month Shaw is up.
Living up on Mustang Mountain Shaw has the quiet life, until a strange noise leads to the disruption of his peace. Eden makes her way up Mustang Mountain after her Grandpa passes, she wants a fresh start but didn't expect her grumpysarus mountain man neighbour to be so unwelcoming toward her.

Give this a read if you like mountain man romance, instalove, dual pov writing, angst, unexpected twist, spice, HEAs.
