I thought that this was a really good book. I enjoyed Ace and Everly together with their steamy chemistry and deep connection. I enjoyed Ace and how he just wanted his woman and we willing to admit that things just have to speld out for him. I really enjoyed this book and I can't wait for more from this series!.

OMG!!! WOW!! Fab*u*lous Absolutely love this one!! I couldn't put this one down. This was a nice quick, short read.

Ace and Everly met when she comes into his bar looking for food and a drink. Ace inherited his uncle bar and cabin when he passed away. Ace didn't know his uncle and after getting out of the military found a place to call home. Everly's father lives in Mustang Mountain and she goes to spend the summer with him and get some experience to be a veterinarian. After Ruby comes and hangs up flyers in Ace's bar Everly walks in and her and Ace hit it off. After Ace closes he asks her if she would like to go up to his apartment. Ace and Everly have a night of passion, but when she looks at his patch she realizes what a mistake she made. Everly leaves in the morning and doesn't look back. Then her father is holding a party for her returning to Mustang Mountain, she mets all the members but when her father introduces her to Ace they act like they don't know one another. The next day while Ace is at the bar, he takes out the garbage and finds a box when he looks inside he finds six kittens who barely have their eyes open. Ace tries to call Asher April is for Asher but doesn't get an answer. So Ace looks for the closest veterinarian. When he walks in he is surprised to find Everly, they take the kittens to the back and she starts to work on them. Everly discovers they are barely alive and need to eat. Everly and Ace work together feeding the kittens, since she will be at the office by herself he stays throughout the day to help. While Ace is helping Everly a guy comes walking in. Ace knows what the guy wants and then he puts a call in to her father to let him know Everly needs protection. Ace stand watch everyday over Everly and has someone else fill in for him at the bar. Ace puts a call into Ruby to find homes for the kittens, when she calls back she only has one person willing to help. Ace calls some of the Mustang Mountain MC's wives and soon they have a home for all six kittens. When it starts to rain out, Everly tells Ace to come inside she only had surgeries to do today and they're all done she's just waiting around to make sure no one has an emergency. Ace is soaking wet so Everly tells him to take off his clothes. While sitting with a blanket over him Everly notices the scars on his back and asks him about them. Ace tells her what happened when he was in the military. When the clinic is closed for the day Ace takes Everly and shows her around Mustang Mountain. Everly is hesitant to get on the back of his bike but when she does she loves it. Ace pulls over at a little park, they have lunch and sit on a blanket holding one another. Ace heads to Everly father's home, he's been a mentor to him and knows he needs to talk to her father. Everly's father invites Ace inside and he tells her father he wants to date his daughter. Everly's father tells Ace it's her decision and he won't stand in their way, he gives him his blessing. Everly's father invest Ace to have supper with them, it's been a while since he had a home cooked meal. A few days later, Everly is having dinner with her dad and step-mom, when they start talking about Ace's visit. Everly leaves her dad's place and goes right over to the bar to confront him. Everly tells Ace she's independent and he shouldn't have went to her dad about the two of them dating. Then Everly walks out and leaves the bar. When Ace tries to go after her someone stops him, telling him she needs some time to cool off. Ace finds his friend Noah from Oakside sitting at the bar. Ace talks to Noah for a while finding out he was never abandoned, he left before his recovery was complete. Ace and Noah finish up talking and he's given a list of people to contact if he needs help. Everly's cleaning up the clinic when Ace walks in he tells her he wants to apologize. Ace tells her he only wants to protect her, and if she's independent he'll have to learn how to handle it. Ace asks Everly for another chance, and she tells him they only had an argument. Everly makes it clear to Ace they didn't break up, Ace tells her that if she wants to move back to Denver he'll make it happen and move with her. Everly tells him she doesn't want to move back to Denver she wants to stay in Mustang Mountain. Ace tells her that he'll have the veterinarian she's working for retire, but Everly tells him he can't do that. Then she lets him know that the veterinarian is going to retire and she'll be working with him and then taking over. Ace drops to one knee and asks Everly if she'll marry him and she tells him yes. Ace takes Everly back to his cabin which is now their cabin. Everly's father throws them an engagement party at the clubhouse where Ace gets to met her two older brothers, Nolan and Leo. Ace is standing with his arm around Everly when he suddenly realizes that he finally has his family he's been chasing, the best part is Everly fits right in.

High heat sparks soon turn into a roaring blaze in this steamy insta lust into forever love romance. Everly and Ace have an immediate connection that leads to future neither ever thought possible. She is in town for the summer working at the local veterinary clinic while also getting the chance to visit her father. Ace is a military veteran, with scars and mental demons to show for it, who runs the local bar that he inherited from his uncle. He is also part of the local motorcycle club and Everly’s father has been his friend and mentor, a fact they didn’t know when they shared a very passionate night together. She claims that means there can’t be any more intimate moments together, but he is not so easily deterred. When a dangerous encounter indicates Everly may be in danger, Ace’s protective instincts are on overload and he is not letting her out of his sight. Both find the other irresistible, but his overprotective, take charge attitude could be a deal breaker.

Another great installment in the Mountain Men of Mustang Mountain series. This one has a grumpy and scarred bar owner who keeps to himself falling for a girl who stumbles into his bar. A one night stand is all it should have been, but alas Ruby has chosen Ace as the man of the month and that means it's his turn to find love. When he next sees his beautiful girl he realizes who she is and realizes he has to fight to win her love.

I enjoyed that this is one where the dad and brothers aren't overly protective of their daughter/sister and let her make up her own mind about who to date. However, I did love the gesture Ace made to make sure it was all good with her dad. I'm not sure I'd have reacted how Everly did, but I understand why she reacted that way.

Love that each of the epilogues is a teaser into the next month's story. September sounds like it's going to be a hoot with another grumpy sunshine, but perhaps with a holistic twist to it. I can't wait!!.

I have enjoyed all of the books from this series and could not pick out a favorite because they are all so good! They can each be read as a standalone but are best enjoyed when read together. ACR has been chosen as Ruby’s mountain man of the month. Sure enough as soon as Ruby puts flyers up in Ace’s bar, in walks Everly.
Ace and Everly converse between Ace working. At the end of the night, they share a passionate evening together.Ace is part of an MC and later finds out the Everly is the Prez’s daughter. Though they try their best to keep away from each other, fate keeps throwing them back together. When Everly is put in a potentially dangerous position, Ace’s protective instincts go up.
I loved the dual POV in this books book! Kaci does a fantastic job of bringing these characters to life! This book should not be missed!.

Throwing caution to the wind has some consequences

August is for Ace by Kaci Rose is the eighth book in the multi-author Mountain Men of Mustang Mountain series. Ruby is back at it again and this time it is Ace who she has chosen to be the bachelor of the month. Everly has come to Mustang Mountain to spend time with her father, getting to know him better and the place she was born. When she arrives a day early she ends up in the one bar in the tiny town and there she meets the local barkeep, Ace. They hit it off and over the course of the night get to talking. When Ace asks her to leave with him Everly throws caution to the wind and decides to go. But in the morning she makes a run for it, not even looking back, after she discovers Ace is a member of the Mustang Mountain Riders MC. As it turns out there is a story behind that one and things are about to get complicated in multiple ways for both these two.

I love this series so much and look forward to reading them each month! And this month Ruby has her eyes set on Ace. Even though these books are short, they are well written, have a great story plot, and have just the perfect amount of spice in them. Oh and they have some pretty amazing men too! Ace was truly a gem of a guy. He was so respectful and I loved how he went to Everly’s dad to ask his permanent to date her! One thing I’ve enjoyed about this entire series is seeing a little bit of Hades in each book. And in this particular book I was surprised to see Noah from Kaci’s Oakside Military Heroes series- which has been my favorite wounded heroes series ever!
I can’t recommend this series enough and am excited to read Shaw next! I have a feeling from reading the epilogue it’s going to quite funny- especially since it involves a goat!

It's August and the mayor's wife has decided Ace was the Mountain Man of the month. Ace came to Mustang Mountain after he left the treatment facility he was in when he was discharged from service. With a cabin and a bar left to him by his uncle, Ace found a place along with the brothers in the MC.

Everly wants to live in a small town, but until she has paid her dues that dream will be a future reality. In Mustang Mountain for a couple of months to spend time with her dad and fill in for the vet, the last person she expected to get involved with would be a biker.

Good fast read with a hint of danger, passion and loyalty. Ace and Everly have a strong connection that wrap around you and has you melting in your seat.

August is for Ace introduces us to a visiting animal vet called Everly and Ace, a military vet with his own scars. Love's the main gig, but there's more in the mix.

Imagine this: Everly comes to town, meets Ace. Sparks fly, life gets real. It's all about the connection and the journey – love, vulnerability, healing.

Oh, and there's extra stuff happening too. Subplots pop up, giving the main story some kick. They're like bonus tracks, cool but not the main album.

August is for Ace serves up that cosy small-town feel and some heart-healing moments. Characters? Like friends. Bonds? Like superglue.

Ready for a dose of romance, vet clinic vibes, and love's healing power? This is it. In Mustang Mountain's realm, it's about two souls finding love in surprising spots.

Ace is the grumpy bar owner who is finally settling into Mustang Mountain. He doesn’t trust easily because of his past but is always ready to help his friends. When Everly steps into his bar A e is immediately hit with the feeling that she’s someone special. Everly is in town for the summer getting experience as a vet. She meets Ace and they have an unforgettable night together. Unfortunately things go sideways when she sees Ace’s MC cut. This was a story that kept you engaged from the start. Ace and Every are perfect for each other with a real connection and lots of chemistry. Everly sees Ace for who he’s is and not what he looks like with his scars. Ace is a protector and just wants to look after Everly without stifling her independence. Together Ace and Everly make the family that Ace has always wanted. I received an arc copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

The two feel a connection and things heat up quickly between the two, but Everly shuts things down when she realizes he’s a Mustang Mountain Riders biker, part of the same group her father belongs to, the father she hopes to reconnect with. A box full of kittens and possible danger sees the pair spending time together and they realize they want more with one another. Sweet mountain man, scarred veteran romantic quickie with some minor angst see another Mustang Mountain man finding love.

It was so sweet to see this crossover between these amazing mountain men and Oakside one of my favorite places. Ace and Everly meet one night and immediately hit it off that they share an incredibly hot night together. The next morning when Everly sees Ace’s patch she takes off and it leaves Ace confused and a little hurt because what they shared was more than a one night kind of thing. When they run into each other again truths are revealed and the tension is high, but when Everly needs help Ace is the one that answers. The chemistry between these two was off the charts and the feelings are instant, but can Ace let Everly have her independence and still protect her and will Everly choose to stay in Ace’s life? A quick and loving story that leaves you wanting everyone else’s stories.

August is for Ace by Kaci Rose is book 8 in the Mountain Men of Mustang Mountain series that also includes Dylann Crush and Eve London and sure do love these alpha mountain men! 4.5 stars

Up next is Ace and Everly’s story. Everly comes to town to visit her father and to help out the local vet clinic for the next few months and has a one night stand with the bartender, Ace. Then discovers he is a member of the Mustang Mountain MC of which her father is the President and knows he is off limits.

Sparks fly, insta love connection, old friends, ex military, stay or go back to Denver, finding where you belong and more…

Short, sweet and a touch of sour
Ace runs his bar, ex military and scarred from his battle wounds. Everly arrives in this small town to be the temporary vet and to decide if she wants to live there; Denver city life is not for her.
A promise made to her father years ago is to be honoured but it means avoiding the man and tampering down the attraction they have between them. Time together only results in deeper feelings and her father's reaction to them being a couple is surprising.
Loving, caring, heat and sexy times, all make this short story a great read.

A nice, quick read with a pretty straightforward instalove romance. There’s no major drama, despite Everly’s promise to her dad in the past, but Ace is far from a bad boy biker. In fact, as a wounded vet, he is more than qualified to watch over Everly after a scare at the vet’s clinic she’s working at for the summer. When a batch of adorable kittens is abandoned behind his bar, Ace needs Everly’s help and the rest, as they say, is history.

This book was absolutely fantastic and will have you hooked from the beginning until the end. It's a insta love story that is a fast read. Ace is in the mountain men mc and ex military and meets Everly in his bar but when he finds out she's the president daughter will he be able to stay away from her? Everly is filling in for the vet for the summer and spending time with her dad but when one night stand turns into more will she stay or go back to Denver? Great story with all the right feels.

Kittens and a hot mountain man? Yes please! Sweet additions to this series. Ace is Ruby’s reluctant pick for August. Instant attraction happens when a young woman new to town stops in at his bar. One night of passion and their love journey begins. Loved that Kaci brought in Noah from Oakside for more depth into Ace’s injuries from war. Enjoyed this heart felt story! Bonus scene offered when signing up for authors newsletter. Epilogue sets up next story.

What a lovely story this is, we follow Everly and Ace, they meet
at Ace's bar, when she's back in town for her dad and temporarily working at the vet clinic. And Ace owns a bar and is also a member of the Mustang Mountain MC and not only her father is also the president of the club and she is off limits and her father does not want her to hang out with him. But desires and attraction cannot be stopped. That one night stand only expands into more moments and steamy nights together.

I loved this latest story in the Mountain Men of Mustang Mountain series. Ace did not want to be the latest victim of Ruby but there is nothing stopping her from trying to find women for the men. Evie is in town for the summer to cover the veterinarian practice and to spend time with her father. She didn't expect Ace though. They spend a night together before she realizes that he is in an MC and her father's at that. Will they find happiness together?

The mountain men and the hunk of the month. Beware the mayor and her postings. This series of books are playful with moments of serious. Each book is great on its own but when read as a series, even better. There is even a visit from a beloved character from another series (yeah). Warmth and friendship, family that is chosen. Moments of MC. And some abandoned critters. Bravo!.

August is for Ace: Grumpy Sunshine, Scarred Hero Romance (Book 7 of Mountain Men of Mustang Mountain) by Kaci Rose. A short, sweet romance about Ace, a bar owner, and Everly, a vet, who hook up for a one night stand because of Everly's father. When Ace finds abandoned kittens behind his bar, he goes to a vet and reconnects with Everly and they deny their feelings. But will her father bless their union? I enjoyed this book as I have this entire series.

A Love To Heal His Damaged Heart -
This was a brilliantly written and moving story, with engaging characters, interesting drama and steamy moments that will leave you green with envy. Once you start reading this story, there is a chance you will hurt anyone who tries to disrupt your peace, whilst you enjoy the book. This is a definite must read book, that I am happy to recommend.

Ace is the new man of the month, and finds himself falling for a woman before the flyer is even up. An easy connection with this couple, a new lease on belonging for both of them. I especially liked Everly as she is a strong independent woman, who knows her own mind and choices. Enjoyed how an argument meant just a disagreement not the end of a relationship, very realistic when discussing.

Ace is a member of the local MC and bar owner, Everly is in town to visit her dad and decide if she wants to leave the city and settle in their quiet town.

When Ace and Everly meet there is an instant attraction, not a lot of action but loved the dynamics between these two and how they work through the obstacles for their HEA.

Ace and Everly have an instant connection from the moment they meet and one steamy night later she thinks she's made a mistake. I loved Ace and Everly for each other and how he went to her dad for permission. This is book eight and a great addition to the Mountain Men of Mustang Mountain series. The writing is good, the characters are believable and I was cheering Ace and Everly on to get their happily ever after. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review. According to Ruby, Ace's time is up. That pretty much let's fate out of the bag. This romance is a combination of instant attraction, surprises, denial, humor and discovery. I liked both Everly & Ace, and how their story played out. It was steamy and sweet with a touch of forbidden, if only in their minds. Their love story was a good addition to the series and I'm looking forward to reading Shaw's book
