While less than fours hours long, this novella packed a punch. Dark gave us shenanigans, friendship, backstories and romantic gestures to melt your heart and wrapped it up in delicious heat and heartfelt moments.

The wedding was supposed to be a small affair with Keystone members, and Raven’s Dad, but that doesn’t mean it won’t have all the trimmings. From hunting for the perfect dress, to securing gifts, we spend a little time with everyone.

Christian was absent in the beginning, but makes up for it in the end. I laughed, swooned, and cried. These characters feel like friends and I was glad to be a part of this special moment. Dark has left a hole in my heart, and I will mourn the end of this series, but thank her for this little gift.

Fans of urban fantasy, strong characters, friendship, romance, and tons of Kick-Ass action and rescues will love the Crossbreeds series and the rest of the stories set in the same world.

Nicole Poole narrates, and I highly recommend listening. From accents to her tone, she enhances this series. I’ve said it before, but I will say it again, “Dark’s stories are like crack and Poole is my dealer.”

Forevermore is the perfect treat for fans of the Crossbreed series & Christian Poe & Raven Black’s swoon-worthy love story. This review was originally posted at Caffeinated Reviewer

This was a treat for all fans of Raven Black and Christian Poe, otherwise known as characters from the Crossbreed series. When the series ended I knew I was really going to miss the characters and all the mystery and suspense involved in their life. This novella wrapped it all up for us quite nicely. No, there wasn’t a mystery case this time. Instead, this was all centered around Raven and Christian’s wedding. Of course, Raven being Raven means she has left everything for the last minute. It really took a village or rather a certain paranormal agency to help get it all taken care of. Wyatt and Shepherd were the highlight while doing their particular errand. It was great to see all our favorite characters shown and catching up with all of them. Raven and Christian really are the best couple and their romance shines throughout the story. Amazing ending to an amazing series.

I listened and as always Nicole Poole was simply wonderful with all her many voices and of course Christian’s Irish accent! 5 stars for narration.

Forevermore was every I could have possibly hoped for and more! Epic love shown in the most beautiful ways. A gathering of beloved characters to witness the epic acknowledgment of a timeless love that knows know bounds. I was blown away by what Christian did for Raven’s gift and how absolutely beautiful the family is she has created for herself! I can’t wait to see in a few hundred years what life has to bring for them and I hope we get future short stories to get a glimpse of these amazing characters! Everyone impressed and with this bunch of characters that’s a grand statement to how important Raven and Christian are to them. And her Da just no words I loved it! This is a must read if you have enjoyed and loved the Crossbreed series!

Outstanding ❤

I laughed & filled up with tears while reading this perfect ending of a story, brilliantly written as always by this author
It is supposed to be the end chapter of Keystone but I really hope we will see more from this series. The characters are real and flawed, wonderful stories with a supporting cast of side characters every bit as loved as the main ones. There are many more stories left in this world to explore 😊
As always my advice is to start with the first book in this series as they follow on from each other and follow a timeline so your enjoyment of this latest book is enhanced all the more
Enjoy 😉

Sniff sniff, what a journey, this series has been great and this book is a great wrap up. I am going to miss them all, but all things come to an end. Maybe some spin off, but I am happy with how it has ended.

The whole series was a well told . A journey of very unique individuals who created their own family. And wedding, amazing ending to the series. Or maybe a spin-off that I for sure will read.

Short but sweet

I have absolutely loved the Crossbreed Series. Although it makes me sad that its the final book I'm the series, it left me smiling. I hope that this group shows up in one of her upcoming books.

It was awesome to spend time with these characters. It's like spending time with family...but better. And a wedding too! Wishing Christian and Raven the best eternity has to offer them!
Thank you Dannika for sharing this wonderful story.

I'm a massive fan of this series - I reread it often, it's in my Top Ten reads of all time and if anything makes me fan girl hard (a term I loath), it's the Crossbreed series. So the author sneaking in a cheeky novella to tie off the series is always going to get a crisp high five from me. Focussing on Raven's and Christian's up and coming nuptials, the book had a really laid back feel to it. In contrast to the high octane, action-filled plots of the other books in the series where the Keystone crew are shoved into do or die situations, this one felt more casual, similar to the many chapters in the series where the author made the effort to make the reader feel like part of Victor's eclectic circle. For fans of the series, as cliché as this will sound, it will feel like you're hanging out with characters you know so well thanks to the great world building and character development the author did the hard yards with across the whole series - Forevermore just feels normal, like another day in the life of our favourite fictional friends, impending wedding aside.

I won't spoil anything here, especially since it's a quick read due to its novella size, but there are still plenty of hijinks and the usual suspects running amok as even the best laid plans fall apart. The book is told from a variety of characters' points of view, with many sharing chapters, which was cute. The actual event was perfect and Dannika Dark definitely did it justice for those of us who have hung on to and devoured every word in this series. It was fun, romantic without being cheesy and the events perfectly matched the characters who are some of my absolute favourites, giving them all a brief chance to shine (I might be wrong, but there seemed to be a really beautiful homage to Silver in there, too, for Mageri fans). Christian is in the wind and the gang are all gearing up to make Raven's day special while being their usual selves. There was the usual touch of humour and sarcasm and a good dose of smexy times that steamed up the pages for a bit.

I feel like a dork for saying this, but honestly, it was just like a long catch up with friends around a beautiful life event for two of my all-time favourite characters. As the book kicks off: 'Love is composed of a single soul inhabiting two bodies'. And this is exactly what it was: a celebration of great characters that readers feel like they know brought together by the love and commitment of two of their best. There was enough give for readers' imaginations to decide where the story ends up in the future and it still gave closure and did justice to Book 12 which had ended the series on such a strong note. I loved it, so much so that I'm even willing to forgive the author for leaving out one of my favourite characters from the series (I get why this guy was left out, but I'm still giving you a bit of side-eye, Ms Dark :). Overall, this was a brilliant read and a perfect ending for an excellent series. It left my heart happy and because of the more relaxed vibe of the story, I wasn't left in a puddle of angst while screaming at the sky in melancholy, either. I won't say no to another book or novella in the series though ;)

********** Contains Spoilers**********

I’ve been a fan of Dannika Dark, and the Mageriverse that she’s created since I purchased the Mageri Series Boxed Set back in 2014. I’ve read a lot of the books from the Mageriverse multiple times since then. My favourite go to reads from the Mageriverse are Closer, Risk, Three Hours & Two Minutes. I thoroughly enjoyed this novella, and it was definitely my favourite of the Crossbreed Series. It was a great surprise since Evildoer was meant to be the end the series, and Dannika sure knows how to wrap up a series. I definitely think this series is going to be added to my re-read list in the future. The members of Keystone have all lost so much, but they’ve created their own family that’s forged in both blood and loyalty. Even though they all have secrets they hold close to their chests it doesn’t mean that they wouldn’t do absolutely anything for each other. They love giving each other sh*t which made me smile.

It was awesome that Viktor wanted to get the tattoo that all the other members of Keystone secretly got when they joined Keystone. As he saw Blue’s tattoo when she was injured and asked her about it. He didn’t go for a hidden small tattoo, he got a big one on his chest. I think it brought them all closer together. The other members of Keystone kept it a secret from Viktor as they thought that he’d hate it because it could identity them as being part of Keystone. I thought Raven and Christian’s wedding ceremony was absolutely beautiful, and totally them. Raven’s dress was stunning. I’m going to miss all these guys. I’m hoping that Dannika will eventually revisit some of my favourite characters from the Mageri Series including Adam, Finn, Sunny, Novis and Levi as they all totally deserve happiness. I’m looking forward to reading more books from Dannika in the future. I’d definitely recommend this book, series, universe and author to everyone.

Forevermore......

The time has finally come! Raven and her beloved partner, lover and fiance, are finally getting married! But Christian has taken a secret break from Raven to accomplish his wedding gift to her, and her Dad and his friends are on a special motorcycle trip. Both have her nervous that the two men in her life that she loves the most will be late and miss their wedding, she's having the most difficult time choosing a wedding dress, and time is running out!
But she should know, these two men love her too much to ever disappoint her on her special day! They both show up with time to spare!
Things turn out much better than she could have ever hoped for, but I won't share that here! You need to read it yourself and have all the joy you deserve after following the series to its conclusion. Which I must say, annoys the "beejeesious
out of me!" I could have continued reading this series for many, many more years! I love the characters so much, the "jobs" they take on and fulfill, and the changes in their relationships. I am so happy their boss' infatuation with Lenore, who I really hated, crashed and burned! Yippee!! Will Blue ever let her feelings for him ever be known? Will Niko and Gem ever move on to be more than just "friends"? What about Kira and Shep? He needs a mother for Hunter!
I am hoping Dannika will keep writing the characters from the older, finished series into the latest one, and those to come in the future, as well as writing new books updating their lives!
Afterall, once you fall in love with the characters in her series, you need to know more about what's happening!
Please, Dannika? Pretty please!!??

This was a perfect ending to a great series. I will admit to being envious of Raven, finding a love to have her back and sees no one but her, as well she has reached the conclusion with Keystone, she has also found a family and people who care about one another.

perfect ending to an amazing series

This book was/is a gift to fans of the series. We didn’t need answers to stuff not settled as the previous book tied up loose ends.
Here we get the ending to the ending… if you read the series? This is a must-read.
Normally a book in a series wouldn’t require you read the rest first, but in this case you do. A book like this isn’t the amazing book it is without the 12 books before it which build up to this epilogue.

The author could’ve given us a one-chapter epilogue but instead she wrote us a book!
Amazing finish to what has become possibly my fav series of Dannika Dark.

Sweet Ending

Not to spoil anything but I highly suggest the full series of Crossbreeds assuming whoever stumbles on this review is unaware what book they are looking at haha. I haven’t read her other series but I’ll go back and do so soon hopefully. I know Christian comes from the Seven series so read that first would probably be the recommendation.

Raven and Christian may be the main pairing but it was fun getting to read about all the other characters and this was a nice closure. I’m curious about the companion book since there are 2 short stories there. I’ll miss the Keystone adventures ❤️

Even though the Crossbreed series ended, @dannikadark was awesome enough to give us a glimpse into the start of Raven and Christian's forevermore.
🖤
Raven and Christian have always had an odd romance. They aren't very flowery, emotional people, and sometimes the joking and sarcasm make it seem like they don't care. But this novella really lets you see how they truly feel underneath the jokes, and I loved it. They are so secure in each other that it almost comes off as blasé. They save their intensity for private moments and sweet jayyyysus is it hot. This novella had more spice than some of the full-length novels put together. The two have a multi-location §exaťhōn the night before the wedding that includes some primāl, teasing, and way too many rose petals. It was an absolute delight.
🩸
We get a little bit of everyone's POVs, some insight into the group's wellbeing, and some truly ridiculous shenanigans. Goth wedding planning, cake catastrophes, tattoos, tattoos, and more tattoos! The wedding gift game cracked me up until it was Christian's turn, and then I somehow ended up with tears in my eyes and a tender heart. He won, hands down. How did the author pack so much into this novella??
🥀
I'm sad to see this series go, but I'm so happy that we got an ending like this. So much future for them to enjoy and lifetimes of fun to look forward to.

what an amazing finale to an incredible series

As a Crossbreed fan, I waited impatiently for this book to come out. I was not disappointed. I know it is supposed to be the final book in this phenomenal series and that makes me sad…. However Dannika never disappoints and I can dream that there will one day be another installment to find out what all of my favorite characters are up to… do yourself a favor and start the series at book 1. I promise you won’t be disappointed.

Forever

I loved this entire series. This "organization" helped all the characters to evolve. Raven and Christian were the perfect couple and this was the perfect ending. You have to read the entire Cross breed series to enjoy the whole gam bit of their cases and how each character plays their role in the great scheme of things.
A must read for the perfect ending of two imperfect people.

Dannika dark

I pay monthly for kindle unlimited and have several authors I follow and get their books for free. I pretty much refuse to pay for a book with the millions at my fingertips for free. Unless, of course, it's by D. Dark. I have bought and read every book she's written and plan to continue to do so. Hoping she'll write the next series with the characters from the crossbreed series and the mageri series combined 🙏

Forevermore

I am so happy for Ravine and Christian! They have finally come full circle. This was a beautiful ending and beginning for them. They both have the love and the family theyI
never had, and the icing on the cake is what Christian did for Crush. I can just see the shock on Crushes face. And I can imagine the relationship growing between them.
There is nothing I didn't like about this story. I laughed and cried! 5 stars for a beautiful read.

A perfect ending to a long run of awesome stories. For this chapter of their lives anyway. Maybe we’ll see these characters in other adventures down the road.

Raven and Christian are a diabolical, rowdy, completely crazy couple who I adore. Adding them to the other misfits… wellT they make Keystone a family in a way that ‘traditional’ doesn’t seem all that fun.

I enjoyed this story and can’t wait to revisit the series later on with a massive re-read!

Great Ending to a Fantastic Series

Really enjoyed this last book as it was like the series wasn't quite finished. Now that Raven and Christian had their wedding and Raven's father somewhat settled with Christian, things seem to be at a much better ending point. This series is one of my favorites, and I will be rereading it again in the future. If you haven't read the entire series, I recommend doing so. You will not be disappointed.

Beautiful end to an amazing journey

To be honest, I have zero objectivity about this book or those that preceded it. They are just SO perfectly wonderful, I can entertain no criticism. I can only offer humble thanks to the author for the gift of these lovely, scary, dark, affirming, wise, funny books. The books have brought me so many hours of joy, reflection, and all the "feels" one could ask for. Thank you Dannika Dark. ❤

I'm glad that Dannika Dark decided to wrap up her Crossbreed series with the culmination of the romance between Raven, a crossbreed, and Christian, a vampire. I loved all the books in the series, and I have them all. I will miss the characters that Ms Dark expertly portrayed the characters in her books.
I will probably re-read some of the books in the series if not all, when I have a book slump moment/s. I love the narrator, Nicole Poole, too.
