Rate this book
Life's been many things for twenty year old Bryn Dawson, but one thing it's never been is easy. And it's only about to get harder.

As the gossip of Bryn being Betrothed to her true love's little brother, Patrick, becomes more reality than rumor, Bryn does her best to think positive thoughts, ignore Patrick's odd behavior, avoid Paul's relentless advances, and attempts to conjure William back from his latest overseas mission. She fails on all fronts.

The night an army of Inheritors set out with an agenda to deliver vengeance on any Guardian surrounding Bryn, the Betrothal Ball becomes the least of her worries. Instead of worrying about who she'll be marching down the aisle towards, she has to accept she might not be making the journey down the aisle ever.

Holy Moly! Can I say I have never been more invested and excited for fictional characters bedroom scene but it was well deserved for William and Bryn! Ms. Williams you did not disappoint! I was on the edge of my seat reading it so happy for them!! Also this book kicks the Twilight novels booty! I think it totally turned on it's own during the second book and took it to a level Twilight never delivered. Plus William is in this book, how can it not be better just because of him? :)

I am so sad to see the serious end but it also needed too. If it kept going it would of been just dragged out though I would like to read about how the happily married couple is doing and about their missions together.

I really fell hard for William in this series. I know many other readers found him to be stalkish but come on ladies! He had visions of a woman for 200 years, even buying an engagement ring for her after his first dream of her. How freaking romantic is that?!?! I still enjoyed Patrick's flirtatious tone with Bryn during the book. He made me laugh out loud many teams... "holy boobs" haha! I did feel really bad for him after he told Bryn of his love for her. I wish that was explained a bit more, it kind of came out of no where, yes I know he flirted with her (at least I took it as flirting) during the book but he really went out of his way to hurt her with words about how Bryn left William and he was with someone else. I just didn't see a guy in love with a girl would do those things. Also I would of liked a little more explanation of WHY he was in love with her, something like "Bryn, you're the most stubborn girl I know but I love you" or "Bryn I always was there for you because I loved you". In the book he just said he loved her and talked about William. Then when he finally told William he loved Bryn it wasn't in the book, since it was Bryn's POV and then William would tease Patrick about it later. I wish a serious conversation would of happened about it.

I know that sounds like a big complaint but I really did enjoy the series and this book. I liked that Townsend was not the majority of the book (the bad guy) and it focused more on the romance. I really loved Abby and Cora and would love to have "sisters" like them in my life. The detailing the author had in every scene was great. The scene of Bryn watching William deliver a baby was touching and am glad as a reader I was able to read about William and what he does on his missions. I am glad Paul was mentioned at the end about what he is doing. Another man in love with Bryn. It did seem like every single man was in love with her but at the end the happy ending was well deserved.

I am now starting Patrick's series and can not wait to see how he plans on moving on past Bryn. I am going to miss William so much. What a hunk of a God!! Ha!

I loved loved love loved loved this one. It was the best in the whole series. I was disappointed in the second one but the author sure did make it up in this one. It was perfect seeing Bryn and William finally getting their happy ending afterall. There was drama in this book but it was worth it. I was on the edge of my bed when reading about the bethroyel ball. I didn't know who the counsil set Bryn with this time and boy I was so surprised when I actually learned it was William because it seemed like they were going to but her with Patrick and I was biting my nails so hard while wishing that they wouldn't. I also hated Patrick for telling Bryn how he loved her even thought he shouldn't since she is his brothers one and only love but he did. He had the nerve to tell her that on the same day as her ball only few minutes early because he thought it would be him that they pair her up with for some reason and he wanted her to know how he felt before they were put together. I hated that it was so sad because I liked Patrick and I was thinking that if Bryn liked him a little and they were actually pair off together in the bethroyel then we were going to get a love triangle which I hate to read about. You can't fall in love with two people at once that for me is wrong and just stupid because you can either love one more than the other never the same. So I was so relaxed when I learned about who she was with and I was back in the middle of my bed :) Moving on then we see them waiting for their wedding to happen and the girls (Bryn, Cora, I forgot the other girls name) having their girls night out before the wedding and it was so much fun to read about that. There we see how close they all get and I just loved all that. But good things end soon and at the end of their day we see them getting kidnapped by John the villian. Then Bryn is tortured and its sad to read about that but Patrick keeps popping up to her to give her courage (awww) then she gets rescued the villian is killed the hero saves the day they get married and go on their honeymoon and live HEA! I also loved the joke they play on Patrick after their wedding night it was hilarious and I loved every bit of it. Overall, this book rocked and I loved it. I hope the author writes more series like this!

Can I give it 6 stars? Utter simple perfection. Nicole should be so proud of herself for giving her readers such amazing closure to a wonderful Trilogy. When I wasn't smiling, I was crying and when I wasn't' crying I was laughing...hysterically. Perfect amount of villain interaction and most importantly, perfect amount of quality time with the Haywards. Been there, done that with the hard times, glad the entire book wasn't consumed by Townsend. I am so happy that we got a good quarter of the book to wrap up and relish such a great love story. I would have been so upset if we got a 3 page happily ever after out of this book. I got everything I wanted out of the ending and more...even feeling somewhat peaceful for Patrick. Love that boy, he'd better at least get a novella to find his woman, no ringy no dingy. Not enough good words for this book. William and Bryn forever. <3

First thoughts:

WoW! OMG! I loved this book, I didn't even think it was possible to love this book as much as the first two. I read this in a mere of hours, not wanting to put the book down, needing to see the conclusion to the fate of the character's I love so much. And what supriesed me the most in the book was that I really fell in love with Patrick. He was such an asset in this book, he definately stole some limelight now and then. I was very much satisfied with the ending and thought the outcome was what needed to be. The feeling of the book was much lighter than the first two (I even found myself breathing more often in this book than the others). I loved the full transformation of the character and there were many, I really loved the fact that they were slower, more understandable( I mean people don't change over night, am I right?) I really enjoyed how this book was separated, I didn't feel out of sorts, being yanked from one scene to another, it was nice and steady, action here and there and a pause. I absolutely loved the flow of this book, the smoothness of it, it really was something you could sit back and read and be relaxed(though at times I was at the edge of my seat, cringing on the purposed outcome) But in overall view the plot was plucked and perected to the tee and every leaf was unturned.

Summary:

Bryn and William finally think they can have it all; the council has finally granted a union between Byrn and a Hayward. But soon rumors fly that It's Bryn and Patrick that's going to be engaged. While oblivious to the rumors William is on cloud nine but after not only hearing the newest rumors she learned of a secret Patrick has kept from Bryn.

Bryn is on the ride of a lifetime as she races against all odds and finds her way into Union with William. She will stop at nothing to have him with her and while the others are after her she will fight to the death to make what's wrong right. But will Bryn and William see the day they will finally be united? Will they lose it all just to have each other?

Last thoughts:

Really thought out, the ending was perfect, the whole story was beautiful. I hate to let go of this world, just being new to it all but all great things must come to an end; that I do realize. But I do hope to perhaps see a prequel to this series, because the masterful and creative world Nicole has created shouldn't be wasted. I definately wouldn't mind seeing this world again, even if it means being in the perspective of someone else. But in all I loved this entire series, I thought it was amazing and page gripping. It is an eye candy to me, something that will be sitting on my kindle's virtual bookshelf for some time to come. I can't wait to read more from this author because she is new and fresh and I believe her writing can be an asset to the literature world.

"We’d won the game of life. We were the rulers of our universe. And we’d spend the rest of our eternities settling for nothing less."

In this final installment of The Eternal Eden series Bryn and William are faced with the ultimate battle. As Bryn realizes that her intended is not the right Hayward brother she must learn to accept her fate. She must learn to ignore Patrick’s weird behavior, avoid Paul’s advances and live with not being able to be with William. Of course it is an epic fail. There is no one she wants more than William.

All of that though is put aside when she once more has to battle the Inheritors. As the Immortals come together to finally put to rest the Inheritors Bryn is shown just how much her life has changed. She isn’t the normal college girl anymore.

Will Bryn get her Happily Ever After? Or will she learn to live without William?

When I finished this book I could not stop smiling! This series was truly a story of true love and in every chapter you felt it. Williams and Bryn’s story is one that will forever be in everyone’s mind. My reaction at the Betrothal was Epic! :-) My husband thought I was losing my mind with all the shouting.

I have to say that I LOVE Patrick!! I was excited to learn that he would have his own series and waited patiently for it to come!

Throughout the whole book I found myself smiling, laughing, crying and smiling again! William and Bryn's story is a beautiful one and United Eden ended beautifully.

If you are a fan of romance and love that conquers all, PICK THIS UP!! You will not be disappointed.

What an awesome ending to this trilogy. I loved it! If I wasn't laughing I was crying and if I wasn't doing either of those I was on the edge of my chair.

Can I first start by saying I totally enjoyed the first 2 books and did not wait very patiently. I was left wondering if Bryn would be betrothed to Patrick and stressing about what would happen. Well, I shouldn't have. This book was perfect in every way. It was paced out brilliantly. There wasn't too much action, or too much Townsend, there was plenty of Hayward time and things just went along smoothly for a bit. I think I even fell a little more in love with Patrick. I had a little chuckle when he confessed his love for his sister in law to be. Talk about awkward with their first morning of being husband and wife.

I think what is totally worth a mention is that we got to live a little of the happily ever after along with them instead of getting only a few lines and having to imagine the rest. I just sat smiling as I read about their unity ceremony and honeymoon. It was such a perfect ending to an amazing trilogy.

Fantastic work by the author creating a world unlike those I have read and so completely reeled me in. I am hoping to hear more about Patrick :)

I will read more from this author for sure, and suggest you do the same!

You know how every now and then there is a book you just can't bring yourself to finish? This was that book for me.

After enduring the first two books, which weren't awful, I just couldn't finish this one. I think what did it in for me was the continual nauseating love between William and Bryn throughout the books to the point that by the third book, I literally just couldn't take it anymore. By the third book, I had had my fill of, "You're amazing and I don't deserve you." FROM BOTH SIDES. Over. And over. And over. I just simply couldn't stomach it anymore after rolling my eyes repeatedly because William, quite frankly, was just absolutely perfect in every way and always had the right thing to say in any situation, and apparently had no flaws.

I appreciate realism to a degree in writing, no matter what genre. Nothing about William was genuine or realistic to me at all. Patrick was funny to an extent, (and honestly, the way he beat a dead horse was extremely annoying) but him being in love with Bryn came out of left field when he just despised her in the last book. Again, not realistic. What about Bryn makes her so amazing that every guy falls over themselves in love with her after mere days of knowing her--OR LESS? The author, while I believe she is talented and do plan to read more from her, did her best to hammer into our brains how ordinary and unworthy Bryn was to be an Immortal. Yet every man's tongue wags out when she passes by. I know that's an exaggeration, but come on.

Happy conclusion to the series! I love William and Bryn definitely has grown so much throughout the series. I will reiterate it’s status as mind-candy, as there were many inconsistencies that I saw throughout the series. Although the choppiness became less of an issue in the second and third books. For instance, I was sure that Bryn would have some sort of power where she could predict future events – based on the two visions she has in the first book. But that is never really discussed in later books. I also felt like the huge “chosen one” prophecy and war was a bit underwhelming. I would have liked to see it affect things on a broader scale. I know John and his men were bullies, but it would have been nice to see more about how they were destroying the balance of the world, as opposed to just terrorizing the Hayward family.

I loved Bryn and Patrick’s banter, though I rolled my eyes at yet another guy who was in love with her. And I can't wait to read his story, because he deserves some happiness!

I thought this series was one of those series where each book gets better than the one before it. I thought since the second book was better than the first that the third book would be better than the second. Oh, boy was I gravely mistaken.

In this book Bryn and William become Betrothed and United. Williams’s brother, Patrick, declares his love for Bryn but knows he will not get anything in return. Bryn gets kidnapped by John and an Immortal war begins. This book was predictable and I literally forced myself to get through it. I will say one thing though - the author is good with humour. I found myself smiling and even laughing out loud on more than one occasion, mostly when Patrick was in the scene. He was just too funny. "Holy boobs!" That was my favourite part. Bryn and William went through the entire book saying, "You’re too good for me," "No you’re too good for me." Etc Etc. Get over it. I am glad the series is over. On to something that will hopefully be more interesting than these books.

This really was a great end to this trilogy. I would love it if there was a side book with either or both of William's and Patrick's POV. I suggest both since I have always loved Patrick and would love to get inside his head (he's more my type of man.. Sigh.. Patrick..). Patrick so fiercely devoted to those he loves while keeping it real and playful (insert far off dreamy look here). William, of course, is for obvious reasons! I got a taste of his POV in the Glassheart chronicles and loved it!!!

Well done Nicole! I will be sure to keep you as one of my favorite authors and grab whatever you write!

Yahoo Nicole!! First off, I must say that the ahem "bedroom" scenes were done so tastefully and seriously were so sweet to read. I felt that it was a wonderful ending to an otherwise crazy journey. And even though not all the characters received their "happily-ever-after" it was nice that they all could still joke about it (if you get what I mean). Once again Patrick plays a pivotal role and I am as pleased as ever with his character. I think even though I loved Bryn and William, I fell in love with Patrick. Well done. Take a bow and listen to the enormous raging of internet applause projecting from my review at this very moment!!!

I bought and read it today finished it in a few hours. It was well worth the wait, so many of my wishes for this book came true. It's another tear jerker, and I can't even say anything about this book that hasn't already been said but it was a great ending and I loved every second of it. Nicole did not let me down at all!

Great series! It was next to impossible to put down. I'm so attached to the characters I don't want the series to be over! Highly recommend this to any YA Fan - You won't be disappointed!
October 12, 2013
The book, "United Eden" by Nicole Williams was the last book in the in the Trilogy. Although it might be a little predictable, it kept you on the edge of your seat. The book is about Bryn, a college student girl turned immortal, who faces death with a smile. Her and the love of her life, William, battle to be betrothed to each other. The Council that they belong to would not allow Bryn to be betrothed to William until now. But, when William leaves for a month, rumors arise that Bryn will be betrothed to his brother Patrick.
I think it is pretty obvious who’s characters were their favorite, but as much as I loved Bryn and William, I’m going to have to pick Patrick and Cora. They are by far my favorite characters. Here is my reasoning:
Patrick: He is super funny and he loves to try and charm people. Yes, he is a player, but he is also really kind and sweet.
Cora: I think of her as a little ball of energy who you do not mess with. She always has everything ready for any type of problem or event and she is someone you do not want to mess with.
Both of them were very interesting and when they were interacting with each other in the story, it made it ten times more interesting. I think we can all agree that there was not a moment when those two were not captivating.
I honestly could not put the book he down. I was either laughing so hard that the people around me thought I was going crazy or I was about to cry because it was so beautifully written and it was such a great love story. My favorite part of the book was when Bryn and William were at the Betrothal Ball and their names were called and they were finally betrothed. I think I started crying because I was so happy that they were finally together. My least favorite part of the book was obviously when the book ended, but also when Bryn was captured by John Townshend and in that box. I was extremely mad that that happened and I knew William would come for her, but it was just a sad thought that they might kill her.
Overall, it was such a fantastic book and a great love story and I wish it didn’t have to end. I definitely recommend this book to anyone and everyone, definitely if you are looking for a love story. Why? Because it is the perfect love story and it has you not wanting to put down the book.

I wasn’t expecting United Eden by Nicole Williams to be released until November. So I was pleasantly surprised when I discovered I could read it two months earlier than I had originally expected!! It was a great conclusion to the Eden trilogy.

This book is basically broken down into three parts: Betrothal Ball, The Big Show Down & an Immortal Union. I won’t tell you who is betrothed, killed or united. You will have to read to discover that for yourself! :)

After reading the first two books in this series: Eternal Eden and Fallen Eden, I thought there were only a few routes this final book could take. I think it was obvious to everyone that read this series that there would be a showdown between the Inheritors and the Guardians. I also thought it was obvious that Bryn would be betrothed and united to either William or Patrick Hayward. That being said, I didn’t go into this book expecting to be completely surprised. This book was all about getting answers and finding closure. Who would win the ultimate battle between good v. evil? Who would Bryn be united with? The thing that was great about this novel was that Williams kept me guessing. From the first page until the name of Bryn’s betrothed is announced, I kept going back and forth. “It’s going to be William. No it’s definitely going to be Patrick. Is there a Hayward cousin we don’t know about yet?” I kept thinking these thoughts until the name was announced.

I am glad to report that I finally got my answers and I am pleased with the conclusion of this series.

I gave United Eden by Nicole Williams 4 STARS (3.5 STARS). I think this is a wonderful paranormal romance trilogy and I strongly recommend this trilogy to young adults.

-XOXO

I expected the heroine to do something unexpected, something that makes her special, the reason she is the main character instead of William. The reason we've been reading from her POV. I didn't get it.

Again, the unrequited love interest is thrown in again. It just wasn't executed well in my eyes. We already dealt with one love interest in book 2. It was tiring. Instead of feeling all sorry for the characters, it was more like, "Okay. The lot of you can just burn in your own personal hell for all I care."

I believe this trilogy would have been better expressed from William's POV, or at least 3rd person POV with multiple characters. It just isn't working in 1st POV. Or at least not from Bryn's. She seems to me more like a catalyst (an entity or substance that speeds up an event) than the one carrying the story forward (that would be William).

If the plot from this Trilogy was altered a bit differently, and told differently then yes, maybe Bryn's POV would have worked, but I'm sorry to say that it hasn't.

Last thing, I know I stated for book 1 that the plot was very Twilight, let me just mention that Cory was so much like Alice. (the part where she tries to dress an unwilling Bryn on multiple occasions to the height of fashion.) I wonder if Twilight wasn't an inspiration for this series.

Instead of being thrilled with this trilogy, I was kind of annoyed. I'm looking for strong lead characters, page-turning plot, realistic dialogue, and subtle execution of plot elements (not overkill where it repulses me instead of entices me).

What a beautiful ending to an epic love story...

Spoilers below...

I admit it, while reading the first 1/3 of this book I was teetering between fuming because I had it in my mind that this might be one of those "not so happy endings" kind of books, and knowing that the love between William and Bryn was too powerful to not result in a happily ever after ending... but then just as all is about to be revealed...yes Ms Williams you got me... I toppled over the fence and thought all was lost when Patrick pulled Bryn aside to confess his love. Which of course made the announcement of the Betrothal between Bryn and William that much more wonderful. I knew of course with Charles' suspense that it was William and Bryn's names about to be said but the roller coaster of tension leading up to that moment gave me the perfect feeling of joy as I read it.

This was a wonderful ending to a beautiful love story. Filled with emotion, love, and suspense...it wasn't hard to be lost in its pages and blissfully surrounded in the world of the Immortals. Of course it had no shortage of action as the Guardian's battle against odds to save the world...and Bryn :)... and most appreciatively filled perfectly with just the right amount of Patrick-esque quips and banter. The "united" night... well...let's just say Chemistry never sounded so fun :)

My one complaint would be that the wonderful lovable Patrick - that I most certainly fell in love with as a character - is left with out the love that he so greatly deserves...but perhaps...that's what a new series is for ;)

This series just keeps getting better, what a fabulous ending to a wonderful series. This book was fantastic – I was laughing out loud, a lot, at the inside family jokes, the love that has pulled this family together. The plot of this third and final Eden is gripping and keeps you turning pages.I absolutely loved it. I liked it more than the first two. It seems like in every book death was nipping at Bryn and Williams heals and it not only was nipping at them in this book, it caught up. Both of them are faced with a few life or death situations. Bryn is her usual self, throwing herself in deaths way to save her family any chance she can get. Then we have our William, he finally gets to take some revenge on certain people and that was really exciting. THEN there is Patrick Hayward, I fell in love with him all over again in this book. He is just the sweetest thing ever, I like the part he had to play in this book. It was really heart wrenching to have to see him sacrifice his feelings and put them aside to help Bryn and William. I found myself wanting to cry, laugh, and scream all at once after reading the last page.
All in all, this series was amazing and I'm so glad I decided to continue with it till the end.

Literally sighing over here, this is so bittersweet. I first started reading this series because the first book was free and at the time I had nothing else to read. After I finished Eternal Eden I had to have more, I'm a fan of Nicole Williams Crash and so I'm familiar with her writing. She never fails to make a good love story. This last book was perfect to me, I liked it more than the last two which is weird but whatever. Oh, Patrick my love. Patrick Hayward is my new book boyfriend. If he was real I'd go kidnap him or something. He was just so perfect, every time I laughed it had to do with Patrick. He was by far my favorite character in the book. We finally get an answer to the big question, do Bryn and William get a happily ever after? You'll find out. If you've read both you should obviously read this one and if you haven't, go read the first two and the come back to this amazing book.

I waited until I finished the trilogy before I decided to write a review. This story was AMAZING! I can't fathom the depth of William and Bryn's love for each other. It's the kind that transcends everything in the literal sense. Theirs is the kind of love that somehow seems all-consuming, but who among us can deny that such a love is possible? I know I can say that it's possible to love someone with that fierceness and intensity, enough to make you put your own life at risk to save the other, even if I've never experienced it myself. After everything they've been through, I'm just glad that they have an eternity to keep showing their love for one another.

What I wasn't expecting, though, was that thing with Patrick. I was literally on the edge of my seat as I read through those chapters. Nevertheless, I have to say that if I loved Patrick in the first two books, I grew to love him even more in this last installment. That was self-sacrificing love to the hilt. I can't wait to read his story, so I would be starting with Fissure ASAP. After all that's been said and done, Patrick deserves a happy ending.

Props to Ms. Williams for such coming up with such a remarkable story.

The finally book in this series and boy was it ever exciting!

I really loved how everything is tied up nicely. At the beginning of the book I felt so much emotion!!! My heart could not take it anymore! It had to go this way or else I was done with the book. Luckily the author knows how to really work up the reader to a great ending.

The love interest, well ...lets just say more things come out and its get pretty interesting!! I'm a little shocked certain aspects played out that way but, even more excited to read bout Patrick's story. Don't worry, in the end, the reader will be wholly satisfied of how it all goes down. After finishing it, I had a big smile on my face.

If I say anymore, I will give away more that what I intend too. Just know, that when you read this story it's soo awesome! Don't worry and keep reading. It's gets better with lots of plot twist that give you a heart attack :)

United Eden is an awesome story! The approach of such a powerful ending, blows me away! Impressive and thrilling, United Eden is an daring plot that you can't miss!

Another book worth staying up until 4am for, so thank you Ms Williams!

Throughout this book, I cried, I laughed, I cried a bit more, I was angry and I was happy!

So to say this book is a mix of emotions is an understatement, so beware!

I HAVE NEVER WANTED A SEX SCENE MORE IN MY LIFE THAN I DID THROUGHOUT THE DURATION OF THIS TRILOGY!!

...But for waiting so long for one, I was sooooo disappointed, I believe the actual sex was about two lines? Not very happy!

The fact that Bryn sacrificed herself, I was expecting more torture than her sitting in a small room, like what the fuck?

However, I was left with a smile on my face by the end of it! & a broken heart with Patrick's name on it!

I loved the Eden trilogy! I loved the characters and the plot, but I was left pretty much heartbroken upon finishing the last book. I wish i'd been given more closure, I wish i'd known what would happen to the rest of the characters (namely Paul and Patrick) because they deserve their own happy ending instead of

I love love love Patrick to death and I seriously hope Nicole Williams writes a spinoff novel just for him because

1. I NEED for him to have a real happy ending
2. I need for this story to continue somehow. I need more.

Major fan energy aside, I recommend this book to absolutely everyone.

You when you read something and it keeps getting emphasised that the baby will be a boy or that the girl will end up with that guy and it turns out to be the complete opposite? Well, that's what happened at the beginning of this book.

I cannot explain in words what I am feeling inside about this book. Words like love, joy, and shock aren't even enough to tell you guys just how much I loved this book. It was the perfect ending to the trilogy.

I am so happy that when I saw that Eternal Eden was free on my Kindle, I decided to read the book. At first, it seemed interesting. Name, it's a trilogy that I have fallen in love with and I will definitely read it again.

So sad to finish this series, but a great way to end it! I was so worried Bryn was going to be betrothed to Patrick, and she and William wouldn't have happiness, but I was wrong. I LOVED when they pranked Patrick. I was laughing along with them! Sad to say goodbye to these characters, but looking forward to what else will come from Nicole Williams. Over the course of the last few months, she has become one of my favorite authors of all time.

I think I must have waited too long between reading the first two books and reading this one, which seems to be the conclusion of the series. The first two just swept me away, but this one, while a very good read, just didn't have the same energy and "I can't put it down" kind of vibe. Like I said, I think I waited too long between reading the first two and reading this one. I definitely enjoyed it, though, and look forward to whatever this author puts her mind to writing in the future!

Definitely the best book of the series!

The writing was even better, the plot was stronger, and I was pleased with the never-questioned love story ending. I think Williams did a good job with villain development - I really did have some animosity there. The emotions all felt real, if just a little too intense sometimes. I mean, if I had a guy longing for me for 200 years, maybe emotions would be that intense too.

Fair warning, if you're expecting any spice from anticipated sex scenes... don't. It's very sweet, and you can tell there is a lot of passion there from some ~dirty~ references, but there is no play-by-play.

Overall, a good series! Twilight-like with a nice immortal twist and genuine characters. Not a book to take too seriously, more of a happy, low-key read.
