A good wedding present (or if needed, before that). It’s frighteningly easy to think that having children will solve existing problems. As Thelwell shows, it won’t. But with thought, much patience & an awful lot of unselfish love, the little darlings can bring untold reward.
Hard to pick a favourite cartoon her; but I think I’d plump for: “Much amusement may be created by making stilts out of old tin cans …. And from simple first aid.” p.126; as the two children enthusiastically set to bandaging Daddy’s legs in best Egyptian mummy style.

I found it on the bookshelf in the local pub, its sort of a comedy parenting manual. Single page, single sketch jokes a bit like the sort of thing you would see in news papers. I've ordered a 2nd hand copy to give to by brother.
