15 year old Anastasia Adams has spent her entire life on run. She and her mother have never spent more than 18 months in any one location, often times leaving with just the clothes on their backs. Despite the havoc that this is wreaking on Ana's social and academic life, her mother offers no explanation as to why it is they're constantly moving, or even what it is they're running from. But that all changes one night in the woods of Pelion, SC--the night the terror catches up with them.
Fearing her mother is dead, and having barely escaped with her own life, Ana is whisked away to world of privilege and tradition. It’s a fairytale come to life. The poor girl used to living out of a suitcase is now a resident of one of the most exclusive addresses in the world. The people there adore her and she catches the eye of a young guardian who sees her as a refreshing change to the girls he’s grown up with.
If only they could find her mother. If only she knew the consequences of being born a “conjurer.” If only she knew who that green eyed stranger was, the stranger who’ll tell her about a past too romantic, and too tragic to be real. In the end, she’ll have to choose between the boy who has captured her heart and the stranger she can feel down in her soul, assuring at least one of them an almost certain death.
Where to begin with Grey Eyes? I don't believe I can actually add a synopsis, since I truly can't put my finger on the story or plot.
The idea behind the book, based on the description posted, was interesting... What girl doesn't appreciate a good paranormal romance-love triangle?
I downloaded the Kindle sample and was captured and intrigued by what I was reading, so I downloaded the full story.
Just about 30'ish% of the way through the book, however, things began scattering and the plot lines began blurring. When that happened, I started skimming pages... I was hoping for the story to regroup and realign, to return to a clear plot.
Then around 80'ish% of the way through the book, I seriously contemplated putting the Kindle down & walking away slowly... But, I just couldn't - I still had a slice of hope.
Now, I am 93% of the way through the book and I am putting the book down. There is yet another blur (maybe it's supposed to be a twist?) thrown into the mix and it's just one too many for me.
What I LIKED about this book: 1) The characters were defined pretty well 2) The concept of the initial journey of the story 3) The telling of how vampires came to be - that was really interesting, great job!
What I DIDN'T like about this book: 1) I didn't feel a huge connection between Ana and Darren 2) There was too much back and forth/hot and cold between Ana and Tristan 3) **Spoiler - do not read this point if you want a wee bit of a surprise when reading the book ** The whole reincarnation thing, I was on board UNTIL it went a little off course, her aunt actually kind of took over her sister's baby and then her mom knowing that it was her sister and then being so overly and readily accepting of everything 4) The fuzzy feeling that came while reading some parts of the book. Let me explain - it felt as though some parts were just hazed right over... I felt as though I needed a brain meld sometimes to fully understand what the author was trying to get at; I was just missing some things.
Looking at reviews for this book, it has been well received by quite a few, and for that I'm glad. I hate to see books overall poorly rated and unpopular... A lot of hard work goes into creating such a project, and I appreciate the time and effort authors put forth to entertain the masses. :o) I wish the author all the luck!
I wanted to love "Grey Eyes" with all my heart and soul. However, to be toally honest, the story is a "hot mess" even though the plot, the author's version of the origins of vampires and the characters had incredible potential.
15 year old Anastasia is on the road with her mother for most of her life. She does not know why nor does she understand her mother's strange behavior and requirements. Then after an intruder breaks into her home, kills her mother and attempts to kill her, Ana goes on the run. She is discovered and assisted by a guardian who takes her to her grandmother.
Ana discovers she is a princess witch and heir to the throne. Once she has her sixteenth birthday she will come into her powers. However, each night she receives mysterious messages from a stranger known as Tristan. When she finally meets him, she discovers she has been in love with time and time again during various lifetimes.
In the beginning, I really enjoyed this book but then, the plot was all over the place and began to unravel with the force of a tornado. At times, it seemed that the author began throwing all kind of different myths and stories to prolong the plot. Additionally in order for a story to maintain a good plot you need a strong protagonist and this story just didn't have one.
Towards the end, (approx. 88% of the book) I almost gave up in total disgust. I asked, "How could this book have gone so wrong?" Well, at this point, I do not care. I can tell you for certain I will not be reading the other books in the trilogy.
OMG! I LOVED THIS BOOK! Love triangles nowadays are seriously overdone. I mean it's usually some girl who thinks her life sucks because two insanely hot guys are after her. Seriously? But in this story, the love triangle seems more plausible, I could totally connect with what Ana's feeling. I don't want to give specifics, because it might ruin the surprise, you'll see what I mean when you read it for yourself.
Okay, now that I've talked about the boys [= )], I'll talk about the plot. Basically Ana and her mother have been on the run since she was a baby, only her mother won't tell her why they're running. Eventually, the thing they're running from catches up with them, and Ana's mom get's killed. She runs away but gets found by her guardians, who have kept their distance so that she and her mother don't know that they're watching them. They tell her that she's royalty, and take her home to Brighton, MA. That's where the witches are.
On her first night there she gets a visit from a mysterious stranger, who leaves a diary entry on her pillow. It's was written by her aunt, and as she begins to read it she finds that she can remember the boy it's about. Meanwhile, she meets a young guardian at her welcome party who she starts to like as well. As the story progresses, Ana begins to remember things from before her lifetime. All things dealing with the boy. Eventually, it comes down to the boy from this lifetimes vs. the boy from before her lifetime. She's put into the impossible situation of having to choose which one lives and which one dies. Good stuff!
Likes: Ana, the main character is funny and strong (though she does cry alot). I loved her best friend Taylor, she totally steals the scenes she's in. I especially love the twists. Every time you think you have a handle on whats going to happen, the author flips the script and you're like wow!
Dislikes: The final twist is something you're either going to love or hate. It sorta seems to come out of nowhere, but if you read carefully you'll see little hints. Ana goes back and forth with her decision which will make you want to throw your kindle out the window a few times. I almost did.
There was many things I truly loved about this book. In particular I loved the two boys who both love Ana. Darren is a boy with a bad reputation. He saw something different in Ana that made him want to be the man she deserves. He was smitten by her as soon as he saw her. He is sweet, thoughtful, and caring. but he is also fun and mischievous and wickedly handsome. He does his best to protect her and is there for her no matter how awful the circumstance is. I could definitely see what Ana sees in him.
Tristan on the other hand is everything she is supposed to hate. After all it is one of his own kind that attacked her mother. But he has loved her literally forever and she him. Their love has endured through many lifetimes. She feels it in her soul even though she does not have all the memories to tell her exactly why she feels this way. He loves her more than anything in this world. He lives only to be with her and nothing else matters to him. She brought back his humanity and he adores her for it.
Now normally I only truly like one boy in a love triangle. Sure, I can see the attractiveness of the other one and the reason why someone might have difficulty choosing, but it has never typically been hard for me to choose which one I would want to be with. I am a Team Peeta, Team Edward kind of girl. I guess because in real life my heart only belongs to one boy, I can't imagine wanting anything or anyone else. That is why this story threw me for a loop. I LOVE them BOTH!!!! Just like Ana I am drawn to both, but unlike Ana, she made a choice between them. I don't think I could.
Loved the story and can't wait to read the next one in the series.
Witches and Vampires! Good witches or evil witches? Good vampires or evil vampires? This is the dilemma you will face in this read. The author does an excellent job of creating colorful and distinct characters. You know just enough about them to understand who they are, what they want and what is in their way, yet your continually wondering if they will turn out to be good or bad. Poor Ana has been on the run all of her life and left entirely clueless about it until one day monsters show up on her doorstep. The monsters attack her mother, the same mother who is constantly uprooting her and moving her around the country to desolate places. Just when Ana believes she is destined to die a painful and gruesome death (for which she has no explanation) she is mysteriously whisked away by an unknown hero. This is where Ana's story begins, for her at least. Ana's mother has kept a tremendous secret from her all of her life. Now her mother may very well be dead and strangers tell her she must return to her home (something she has never know) to fulfill her destiny.
I absolutely loved this book. The characters and their relationships were very realistic and sincere. I enjoyed the different personalities and voices of the different characters, especially London and Taylor. The two girls are so drastically different it made their bonds with Ana more interesting. I also enjoyed the physical environment they lived in, the woods of NC, the mansions and well manicured landscapes of Old Brighton and the ordinariness of Old Brighton. This author is very clever with meaning. The tone of this books goes to great lengths to address the wrongness of prejudice, yet it does not feel judgmental or patronizing. This is a tricky thing to accomplish and I praise Alston for succeeding in doing so.
I really liked this book- it reminded me a bit of Amanda Hocking's Trylle Trilogy, but with witches and vampires instead of trolls. The mythology was pretty inventive, and I thought the romance was done well even if it did follow a now familiar YA formula: triangle between a forbidden but compelling immortal boy v. safer, sweeter more acceptable boy. That's part of this book's charm. It takes a solidly conventional YA framework and builds a compelling novel around it that still manages to throw in plot twists, interesting world building, and a strong first person narrator. Fans of YA paranormal romance will enjoy this; I can see why it has been so popular. There were some reviews about formatting issues, poor editing and grammar. I am pleased to say I did not have that experience. The only thing I will caution readers about is that things do become kind of muddled in the last third of the book or so, especially when compared to the rest, but it did not detract from my overall enjoyment. Will I read the second book? Most likely. Overall, a surprisingly good read.
The plot was very similar to other books I have read and I found the characters hard to relate to. I think there wasn't enough time spent on developing characters then the final reveal came at the end and happened so fast it was hard to process then suddenly the book just ended. Before the reveal it was hard to get into the story and understand the characters. I think some elements from the reveal should have been incorporated earlier in the book without giving too much away. The romance was very cheesy and I found that it was just stated and none of the emotions were explained thoroughly. Darren is breezed over yet he is supposed to be a main character and the man she's going to spend her future with. Shouldn't we get more info on him except for the basics? I think some of the ideas in the plot were good but were overshadowed by larger sections of the book that were very slow. Some of the things in the book also didn't need to happen for the book to flow and ended up prolonging the inevitable end of the book and these parts really didn't serve any purpose except to torture me. Overall this book was quite hard to get through and I almost lost my resolve to persevere a few times but managed to pull through. It does get an extra 0.5 star because some of the ideas were good but the writing was executed poorly.
Overall I would not recommend you read this book unless you want to cry from boredom and be left asking WHY?! WTF?!
First, I have to say I read all 3 books in the series and am probably rating them as a whole rather than individually. In that, I would consider some better than others, but it took me all of them to really decide how I felt. I give it 3.5 stars and I would recommend it to younger audiences who might appreciate a good guy/bad guy/silly teen love triangle.
I kept reading these books partially because I was hoping reading further would clarify some of the confusion. There was a lot going on and not all the plot or sub-plot lines made sense to me until I looked back. It was almost filled with too much.
Some of the story line was common at first with very unexpected twists. I couldn't really predict what was going to happen, and when I thought I could, I didn't have a great amount of certainty. This is a good thing in my opinion because there is nothing worse to me than a totally predictable ending.
It kept me reading to see how it would play out but was sort of a roller-coaster ride. There were a lot of great moments intermixed with times when it was rather slow getting to the point.
The author did a great job with the characters. For example, the young girl acted like a, well, young girl. I suppose it isn't fair of me to lower my rating because I get annoyed with teens who act like teens, especially teen girls...
With that said, the fact that I did like something I normally wouldn't care too much for says a lot to me. Therefore, I rounded up my rating on the first book because I think it's very much worth reading to find out for yourself. If you like the first, you will love the next two as well. You won't want to stop until you get the whole story.
I am kind of blown away by Grey Eyes. I began reading this novel with heavy skepticism, thinking that it would be much like many of the other self-published novels floating around out there-- under-developed and heavily flawed... Not a chance! It was nothing short of amazing with a storyline that is seriously unique, which is a feat in itself. I have to say, the ratings and reviews Grey Eyes has recieved is widely misleading. I divide my reading time between Indie and Mainstream, and this novel is top-notch by Indie standards-- yes, I judge the two differently! Anyway, the point is: Grey Eyes is an amazing novel that deserves recognition! Readers need to give props where they are due!
Grey Eyes begins with a social-deprived teen, Anastasia, finding out that she is more than just a girl on the worst side of poverty with a mom that is borderline manic. Tragedy strikes early on, forcing Ana into a life she could only ever dream of while moving from town-to-town with her mother. Ana's life has become a fairytale, complete with two beautiful boys-- one who captures her heart and the other who she has gifted her soul. But this is no run-of-the-mill love triangle and Ana is more than what she is percieved to be...
I know that was the lamest summary EVER, but I hate spoilers and if I write one more word, I'd be giving too much away. Grey Eyes is worth much more than it is selling for, and more importantly, the series is worth your time. Give it a try; you will not be disappointed.
If you are a Twilight fan you will love this series. Ana is a girl two months from her sixteenth birthday who has been on the run with her mom for longer than she remembers. She starts as a normal girl with her first friend she calls Jaz by the end of the first chapter her mother is believed to be dead and she's running from the strange man who attacked. A young boy, Nathan, meets her in the clearing and soon informs her that not only is she a witch but she is a princess of them and a vampire was what killed her mother. He and his grandfather, head of the Guardians, take her to Brighton Maine where she is now royalty in the witch world. Soon she makes a love interest names Darren and a mysterious person starts leaving her pieces of her aunt's diary on her bed, talking about a boy she loved. Not far in the story she finds out what her affinity with magic is "unnatural magic" or conjurer. She finds her mysterious visitor is another vampire, Tristan, who loved her in all her former lives, including the one where she was her own aunt. He tells her there is a "bad thing" that keeps them from being together. Finally, we find out what the bad thing is: she's an angel sent down from heaven to kill the "Source"- the first vampire Daemon and her son in the very first life she had as Merline who she brought back from the dead- and restore humanity and balance. This life is her very last time. I give it three stars because of the confusing turns in the story and the fact that she keeps changing her mind between her "soul mate" Tristan and Darren, her new love in this life.

Grey eyes was one of those books that I hated to love…or loved to hate. I’m not really sure which. The story is beautiful, and there are a lot of wonderful twists and turns, although not all of them completely believable at first. The love story in it, alone, was enough to captivate me. Add in a history of witches, vampires and angels and you have some of my favorite novel elements. I also felt that the author knew her characters very well and helped give me a glimpse of who they were.
Unfortunately, I was left very disappointed by Grey eyes. Because some of the twists and turns teetered on the edge of unbelievable, I felt a little thrown out of the book. To make matters worse, there were entire paragraphs that I couldn’t even understand because, while I’m sure the author knew what she was trying to say, she didn’t give me enough information or relayed it in a way that didn’t make sense to me. Typos and errors were found on nearly every page, which only further added to my frustration.
In the end, I don’t think I would have moved on to the second book, had I not already purchased it. But I did, and I’m glad for that. To find out why, check out my review for the sequel to Grey Eyes, Brown Eyes.
I think I would have given this book 2 1/2 stars if that were possible. The plot is good up to the part were she's not just a witch reicarnated but an angel. Pretty much lost me after that. Fortunatley that was at the end of the book. I hated how shallow and wimpy Ana was. She was proud of herself for yelling at her grandmother... Really? The love triangle is not as deep as I thought it would be. Tristan makes her mad so she decides to give Darren a chance? Not to impressed with this one.

It's a page turner that sucked me right in, it is an interesting take on witches, vampires and (spoiler alert) angels, but I feel stupid for having read it. I read all three, I had to know the ending, but after knowing the ending kind of wish I'd saved the money.
I read this as a quick plane ride source of entertainment. It did start out that way. However, became increasingly ridiculous. I now realize it was almost completely unoriginal. A not very good rewrite of another more popular story.
A character strength of Ana is bravery even though the vampires are hunting her she still is able to fight back. She is also scared but still listens to her guardians even if she is afraid.
I'm trying right now to focus on my review, but my eyes keep straying to the blurb. The extremely long blurb. There's a definite problem if you can't sum up your plot in two paragraphs. With Grey Eyes it wasn't so much that the plot was overly complex or even lacking an interesting concept. Witches at war with vampires seemed pretty interesting, especially considering who Ana turns out to be. It was just too much of, well, everything.
The story starts off with some great action and mystery. Then it shifts into a love triangle that just seems too forced. Ana discovers she's some kind of witch royalty, a princess of course and she immediately draws the attention of the hottest guy at school, all while having a secret relationship with a hot vampire. She's rich, has someone to turn her into a beautiful princess and even has a bunch of parties where she is the center of attention (even her mother's birthday party is all about Ana). It all became a bit too eye rolling worthy.
Ana doesn't have a stand out personality. She's okay. Her love interests are typical. Tristan, the vampire, is mysterious, constantly running hot and cold, the only unique things about him is, well nothing. The love story between them is straight out of Fallen by Lauren Kate only with a vamp thrown in, and then mixed with Twilight and Edward's obsession with Bella's soul. Darren is the local hot guy all the girls lust after that instantly falls for Ana, because she's not like the other girls he's been with. Gee, the fact that she's a princess and rich and powerful doesn't hurt does it? The best part of the love triangle are the choices Ana makes. There's a few twists and I actually liked her final choice and reasoning.
Secondary characters were actually a bit better. London is the popular girl who everyone thinks is a b****h but is really nice and I wish she'd had a bigger role. Then there's Taylor, oh how I wish Texans could be portrayed with something other than stereotypes. After living in Texas for almost ten years, I only ever saw young girls wear their cowboy hats to the rodeo. And most of the Texans I know do not have thick southern accents. It's like assuming all people from California are blond surfers who talk in slang.
Probably what I loved most was the origin stories behind witches and vampires. The explanation behind the vampires was especially interesting, and felt unique. The reasoning behind vampires not going into the sun actually made sense, something I think is pretty hard to do without making them sparkle.
The action really speeds up near the end, almost to the point that if I tried to skim a page, I'd be lost by the next. And it's at the end where it really feels like the authors went to far. Already the story had so many typical YA paranormal elements and then angels were added in and I became completely confused as to the point of the story. It was like the author's wanted to hit all of the YA trends at once, and POW! we're hit with it and are supposed to just go along with them. Which I feel is a real shame. I think if there had been more focus on the witch and vampire war things would have worked better.
This is the first in a series and even though there were things that bothered me about this book, I would be interested in continuing to read the series.
Oh. Where to start?! This book was a really great read. I loved the new take on the witches and the vampires, and oh dear, the love story behind it! This book had me in tears toward the end, and that is always a good sign that the book you just read, is going to be forever etched in your brain. From the action, to the dying questions you had about Ana, and the romance! I found it hard to put this book down once I picked it up.
I love it when a book can grab you from the first chapter. Not only does that let you know you are in for a great ride, but you waste no time falling in love/hate with the characters you are reading about. From Ana, a Grey Eye heir, which she knows nothing about until a horrible vampire comes to try and kill her and her mom. She is thrown into a life which she knows nothing about, and finding out she was a witch is the least of her problems.
Then, you have the wonderful men of this book. Darren, a warlock that is quite taken by Ana after she meets her for the first time, and she can't help but to feel the same about him after a few moments they share together. Then there is Tristan, a mysterious vampire who has a beyond deep love for Ana, but she has never met him before in her life, so why does she feel these feelings for him? There are so many burning questions, you will NOT want to stop reading.
The paranormal part of this book was just amazing. You had a few things all put together, and they worked perfectly so. Once you thought you had you head wrapped around it all, towards the end they throw a whole new aspect at you. It leaves your head spinning and your jaw on the floor. I totally did not see this ending coming, and I have to read the second and third books to find out what is going to happen next.
Overall, this book was a steal. At only 99 cents I felt like I was stealing. If you have the chance, buy this book. It will take you on an amazing journey that you will have to buckle up for. Trust me folks, this book is worth so much more than 99 cents.
WARNING MAY BE SPOILERS nothing major though****** WOW... Where to start. My feelings for this book are extremely mixed.(not really) The plot was a little messy in some places, and I often found myself lost while reading this.
However if I say I didn't love this book
I'd be lying
So much to the extent that angels might hunt me down.
While I was yelling at the Ana to make a decision( I had already made my decision, I'm not telling you which team I'm on) her reasoning was understandable. ( Wait did I just mention teams?) Jeez Bite Me I mentioned teams
My love for this book might be completely biased since I'm getting over my hormonal teenage years. Younger audiences will love this I often found myself either laughing or loosing control of my emotions. Adults might think Ana( the main character ) is just really stupid. Teens are all idiots myself included its not something to be hated for. It's the circle of life... Or lives.
I get it I'm not nearly as hilarious as I think I am.
On to serious business. The characters in this book are described quite thoroughly to the extent that you feel that you have a relationship with each of them. The idea of bringing so many supernatural creatures in to one book is genius and the humane way of thinking is exploited even in the supernatural. This book is not completely about a love triangle which was a relief.
I'm tired of being serious on to what the teenage girls have been looking forward too.
They boys in this book are completely and literally TO DIE FOR. I think my heart is tired from beating to fast and dramatically stopping often. The hardest part is figuring out which is your favorite.
I give this book four stars. I did adore this read however you might find yourself Rereading a few pages. But I'll let you in on a secret about the gist of this too long summary.
(read this book)
*now
The ending is caused me to hurl the book across the room in fury though. The reasoning for that is a secret for later.
I literally cannot read this anymore. It's so stupid, and not good reading material at all. The premise was pretty cool! I was kind of excited! But it was ruined.
For one thing, the main character, Ana? Yeah, she's an idiot. She thinks she's so smart and that she knows what's what but she just follows what she's told and doesn't question enough.
The there's the guys. Only 34% in, and I can already smell the love triangle. Darren isn't bad. He's a little odd, but not bad. Then Tristan. Tristan is a total creep. He admits to stalking and watching the girl's past self NIGHTLY, and we're expected to find that romantic? Uh, how about no. Ana should be calling her grandmother, or the cops, or someone, not following him!
I'm so frustrated, mostly with Tristan-the-creep. That is not an okay thing to portray as romantic to teenage girls. Not to mention the book is badly-written and rather boring.
I really wanted to like Grey Eyes which started out with a very promising plot. But then after a few chapters, the author started to throw all sort of different myths and stories into the mix: witches, conjurer, warlocks, vampires, angels, guardians, and reincarnation etc...It felt like the author just kept adding these random twists to the plot to keep the story going. And the love-triangle - what can I say - I was not captivated by it, in fact I was pretty tired of the whole love-triangle. One minute Ana was helplessly in love with the boy with strange green eyes and willing to leave everything behind to be with him; then the next moment she was falling for the other boy.
Like another reviewer, I'm wondering where the story line is going. I also agree with the one star reviewer that the second half becomes a mash of things happening that could be more smoothly explained. But it wasn't overall that bad. My only "problem" is that Ana is a witch, that I never see learning how to use her powers. I'm also a little annoyed with the constant back and forth love-triangle.
*spoiler* My theory: Daemon will die and the once vampires, depending on their strengths, will be "cured". And then Tristan won't die and we're right back to the love triangle. That or Darren will die protecting Ana. */end spoiler*
I wish I could comment primarily on the plot of the book, but, honestly, I was far too distracted by the horrible grammar and editing mistakes. There were plenty of little mistakes, but I have to say that the worst one for me was "... she excused herself from Darren and I's company..." I can't believe that at least ONE proofreader didn't spot that obvious mistake.
As far as the story goes, it just seemed like there was too much going on. It was like a hodgepodge of so many other popular types of YA novels: witches, vampires, angels, and reincarnation. The love triangle was far too wishy washy for me, too. The characters were fairly shallow and hard to relate to.
Some books are hard to put down long enough to get some sleep...this was one of those series for me. I'll admit, I have been a little book deprived but this series not only kept me interested, it had a satisfying ending as well. It had twists that I didn't see coming and without giving anything away...it truly had a little bit of everything in it. What can I say - I love, love. I'm a sucker for it. And gladly so.
Amazing! Loved this story..the history...the journey for Ana and Tristan to be together and apart. Ana's relationship with Darren...so sweet. You just want to cheer for Ana as she deals with so much in the span of a few months. I can't wait to see where this goes....so good! Did I mention I couldn't put it down?
I agree with the other reviewers. Good plot in the begining of book but not in the last 1/2. I think that the love triangle lacked depth. I also didn't understand why Anna wasn't more upset when Tristan was being tortured. I mean she realized that she was in Love with Darren while he was being tortured...wtf...

It made me want to scream "What the HELL are you doing!!" A few times, but whats a good book without that?? I loved the magic system they had figured out, and while the love triangle wasn;t the most original, I couldn't put this book down! Eagerly awaiting the next few in the series :D
This book SERIOUSLY needs an editor. The story has potential, but needs to be refined a bit plus corrected in terms of grammar and some spelling mistakes. Hopefully a revised and edited version of this story will be available in book stores in the future.
Really enjoyed this book! The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star rating was due to the many editing mistakes, it was a little hard to understand sometimes due to grammar errors. Other than that though the story was really intriguing. Can't wait to pick up the next one :D
I read this book in 2011, almost 13 years ago from writing this review, but parts of this book have lived rent free in my mind ever since. The lavish life, the grey eyes, the love triangle, the escape? Ugh.
Maybe it’s because I always want the female character to end up with the more secure and lovable male protagonist, but i loved the other one (you know it). Sorry this review is vague, I can picture the storyline but not many details. Probably will have to reread but not sure if I want to confront those emotions again.
Ana should be with the non-vampire guy. I said what I said.
