Heaven dreamed of the day he would meet his mate and settle down. He had no idea that the bad luck he experienced his whole life was about to give its grand performance. How has the fairy tale romance he dreamed of turned from blissful wishing into the hell he would soon find himself in? Murdock has always been the playboy of the estate. With an endless supply of willing males, who needs a mate? Then Heaven walks into the bathroom at the club and sees something Murdock wishes he hadn't. Now Murdock has two weeks to convince his mate that he didn't know Heaven existed and win his love or Maverick will execute him. Talk about pressure. Heaven struggles to get past the images burned into his memory and find forgiveness in his heart before he loses his mate forever. The only wrench in that plan is the humans who have discovered their existence and are now out for blood. Each book in Lynn Hagen's Brac Pack collection features a different romantic couple. Each title stands alone and can be read in any order. However, we recommend reading the series in sequential order.
Lynn Hagen loves writing about the somewhat flawed, but lovable. She also loves a hero who can see past all the rough edges to find the shining diamond of a beautiful heart.
You can find her on any given day curled up with her laptop and a cup of hot java, letting the next set of characters tell their story.
This was book 13 in the "Brac Pack" series. Murdock Miller is the playboy of the house the manwhore he is hot, sexy and hung and knows how to use it. His hunting grounds is the club bathroom and he doesn't care who watches or joins in imagine his surprise when his mate walks in and catches him in full throttle with a twink bent over the sink. Heaven has always had bad luck he has always had this fantasy about meeting his mate and settling down with the white picket fence he was so shocked to see his mate with another man that he runs out of the club crying. When he gets home he tells his father what happened turns out Heaven is Tangee's cousin his father Windstorm convince him to go see his cousin. When he arrives in town he is early and he meets Cody and Keata in the park and goes to the diner where they tell him that they know Tangee and that he works their. Heaven and Tangee talk and Loco takes him to the den. Heaven is still having a hard time with seeing his mate with another man. Murdock is also feeling guilty about what happened and is very surprised when he goes to dinner and see his mate who curses him out Maverick is also pissed that Murdock cheated on his mate and he even warned Murdock that his manwhore ways would catch up with him. When Windstorm issues a death warrant he appoints Maverick to kill Murdock and Maverick gives Murdock 2 weeks to convince his mate to change is mind. Murdock goes gravelling and begging for Heaven to give him a chance and although Windstorm doesn't like it Heaven agrees. This was a really good book the odd thing was Heaven was kidnapped and taken to a lab where they operate on him giving him a womb. This book also introduced some new warriors three brother's and I am looking forward to reading there books. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.
This one was definitely - different. Probably the most implausible of the lot, and yet, I liked the unexpected twist. It puts the whole story more firmly into 'paranormal land'. I mean, we're reading about werewolves here already, right? Believing a medical procedure like the one performed on poor Heaven is only one more step. It will be interesting to see how this plays out - as we are not given the full story in this volume.
I really liked Heaven as a character, even though his reaction to finding his mate, Murdock, fucking another man was a tad over the top. They hadn't even met at that point, and Heaven should have realised there was a possibility his mate was not one of the few werewolves who wait for their mate to have sex. Initial shock - sure. But sustained anger? Murdock was a total asshole, and I never quite got why he changed his mind, but that's what the mate bond is, occasionally, for.
Overall, the emotional intensity between the two characters was one of the highest in this series, and I really liked that.
So fucking stupid. Zero development in the actual relationship other than saying that they spent time together. As far as the reader sees, things only got better between them because Murdock got shot.
What I didn't like: 1) Heaven said that Murdock "cheated" on him when they hadn't even met yet. 2) Murdock thought of Heaven as being immature and "acting his age" after their ages are revealed; he seemed almost patronizing after finding out. 3) The whole age thing. I get that they all live to be 1,000 years old (literally), so the author gives each character a specific age. That's understandable, but it does not translate well to the reader. Murdock is 150 and Heaven is 50, but that doesn't give me a good read on what their actual maturity levels are. And their "romance" is passed over, so I don't know how compatible they are despite the weird age-gap.
I could not believe that the author completely skipped over scenes or conversations with Murdock and Heaven getting to know each other. These kind of romance stories with second chances do not work if the reader is not shown how the MCs get familiar with each other and work things out. This was disappointing and seemed to jump all over the place towards the end.

I can't even read this story, damn it's so STUPID plotted. Jeez come on can this get any better ? Some mates are being so stupid it's annoying. This couple was so forced that it was painful.

Brac Pack 13 - Heaven's Hell by Lynn Hagen
Heaven's Hell is an extraordinary addition to the Brac Pack series, seamlessly blending the intense elements of paranormal romance with the unique and captivating dynamics of the Omegaverse. This M/M story is an insta-love masterpiece that pulled me in from the very first page, keeping me on the edge of my seat with its thrilling blend of romance and danger.
Heaven, who has always dreamed of meeting his mate and settling down, finds his life taking a dramatic turn for the worse. His encounter with Murdock, the estate's notorious playboy, kicks off an intense and emotional journey. Murdock's transformation from a carefree playboy to a devoted mate trying to win Heaven's forgiveness and love within a two-week deadline adds a gripping sense of urgency to their relationship. The insta-love between Heaven and Murdock is electrifying, filled with raw emotion and undeniable chemistry.
The Omegaverse elements in this story are brilliantly woven into the plot. Heaven's experience and the new MPREG twist add a fresh and exciting layer to the series. The fact that this series now includes male pregnancy is a thrilling development that deepens the emotional connection between the characters and expands the Brac Pack universe in fascinating ways. I was absolutely ecstatic to see this new direction, which adds even more depth and uniqueness to an already captivating series.
The conflicts Heaven faces, both internal and external, are portrayed with great sensitivity and depth. His struggle to overcome the haunting images and find forgiveness in his heart is both heart-wrenching and inspiring. The added threat from humans who have discovered their existence and are out for blood introduces an extra layer of danger and suspense that kept me hooked.
Each character in Heaven's Hell is well-crafted, their interactions genuine and filled with emotion. The writing is flawless, making the story flow effortlessly and immersing me completely in the world Lynn Hagen has created. The pacing is perfect, balancing the romantic development with the escalating tension and danger.
This book, like the rest of the Brac Pack series, can be read as a standalone, but reading it in order enhances the experience. If you're a fan of M/M paranormal romance with a touch of Omegaverse and MPREG, Heaven's Hell is a must-read.
If you’re wondering whether or not you should read Heaven's Hell, the answer is an emphatic YES‼️

Dive into the world of the Brac Pack and experience the magic, romance, and excitement that Lynn Hagen has masterfully created. Heaven's Hell is a shining example of the series' brilliance and a must-read for any fan of M/M paranormal romance.
I really liked this one because it started with an interesting proposition.... Can you forgive your intended mate infidelity if that act is carried out at the time of meeting. You walk in on the person who will be the love of your life while they are with someone else... then what?? This alone had me wanting to read this one and I have to say I really liked how it was handled.
Heaven is young and his response to what he see's is reflective of this, I am not sure the fathers response is particularly mature but it does set up the rest of the story very nicely. I really enjoyed watching Heaven grow up a little and Maverick working to make things right. The story does get a little complex at points but it is worth it!!
The whole man with a womb was a bit over the top in my eyes. But apart from that this book was much better than many others. Heaven was sweet, albeit a bit overdramatic, but Murdocks change was a bit fairy tale like and whether such a guy would make a good father… The book clearly showed how irrational these wolves are (demanding Murdock's death or attacking him before even knowing ten percent of what happened, and Heaven accusing Murdock of cheating when he knows exactly that this was not what happened). Drama Queens per excellence. And if Murdock wants to have sex but not get Heaven pregnant, then why doesn't he simply bottom? Has he such huge hemorrhoids that get in the way?
Haha! Karma Murdoch. Gee If i see the man destined for me screwing a twink in the bathroom I would run away from him too. Having him sentenced to death was pretty extreme though. One, he's never met you so it was not cheating but the fact he was such a pig and having sex where anyone can walk in and see and doing it often? Yuck watta pig.
Heaven and his father should have just made him grovel. Heaven's dad spoiled and overprotected Heaven too much. Death sentence for screwing someone before he met you? Come on! Maverick should not have agreed to that either.
Editing was better in this one. If you are reading this far in the series then you must find something you like in it. These aren't the most well written books but they are easy and relaxing. This book in particular is a bit...well out there but it's fun in it's own way:)

It seems a bit hasty to execute Murdock within such a short period, what if Heaven changes his mind 200 years down the line, they do live a lot longer than humans after all?
It disgusted him that the guy didn’t even mention condoms.
Hah! Well, at least they did get around to this at some point. Only took twelve volumes…
The initial premise and complication was resolved way too fast and I admit was horrifying. But then, ugh, no!
Man, just when I was warming up this series. Oh well, at least it’s not an endless repeat of the same. Even if we seem to be back to effeminate paired with manly huge.
2012 Re-read Project:
I went and did it. I re-read all the connected series by Lynn Hagen, this time in order of publication date, as recommended, which sadly does not ensure actual chronologicality. That’s twenty-nine books of moderate length, spanning three series (with more to spin off).
I’ll put my thoughts in spoiler tags since I plan to paste this into the end of each review covered here. There are no actual spoilers, so feel free to read this for a general idea of the series.
I have said in a previous review that I enjoy the Brac Pack novels from Lynn Hagen, even though, after the first one, they seemed to become formuleic – always following the same pattern. Although this bugs me a little, I have followed the series this far because the books are easy to read, and, for the most part, sweet and enjoyable. They may be full of obvious tropes but tropes tend to work for me, go figure.
Unfortunately, this last one really let the side down, in my opinion.
One more negative to note about the whole series: I feel if we’re going to be charged full price for these books, they should be edited correctly. The series as a whole has too many grammar and spelling errors. It’s just a tad off putting.
On the plus side, I do like the way the characters from previous novels make cameos in these stories. Seeing some of the ones I’ve liked from before is always touching and fun for me. I feel like Lynn could definitely write another story about Maverick and Cecil, the first pair.
Having said that, I’ll probably think twice about purchasing the next book in the series, rather than happily clicking away at the ‘pay now’ button.
I must say Heaven’s Hell was straight out of left field and took me by complete surprise. Ms. Hagen adds that special shock factor to all her stories and this one is no different. I applaud this author’s creative storytelling that feeds the imaginations of her readers and keeps them on the edge of their seats.
Heaven and Murdock’s relationship starts out rocky from the get go. As the reader you can’t blame Heaven’s reactions to finding his mate in the arms of another. But Heaven’s dramatics at times are a little over the top. For a grey wolf he’s is still considered young at fifty. Being young and naïve causes struggles that he and Murdock have to work through.
Murdock puts off the image that he wants to be a forever bachelor playing the field with no commitment to tie him down. It’s all a façade he puts out there so no one sees his fears. After all his years he believes he is destined to be alone until he dies. His and Heaven’s relationship starts off less than satisfactorily but with hard work and forgiveness these two men work toward their happy ever after.
As a devoted fan of this series have been waiting for the addition of humans who have discovered their secret and Ms. Hagen touches on this in Heaven’s Hell. Heaven is kidnapped and taken to a lab where the unexpected happens to him that will change his and Murdock’s lives forever.
This story is action packed to the max. So many things are going on with these two men it’s amazing they keep their sanity in check. There is an introduction of three new timber wolves to the pack that has me looking forward to reading their stories. Ms. Hagen has out done herself with Heaven’s Hell and it’s a must read for all Brac Pack fans.
This book has a recommended read attached to it. our highest rating at twolipsreviews.com
Heaven has always dreamed of finding his perfect mate. Unfortunately, Murdock has always been the playboy type. Never hanging on to one man too long or getting attached. When Heaven finds him screwing another man in a bathroom, Heaven runs off. He knows Murdock is his mate, and his mate has betrayed him with another. When Heaven tells his dad what he saw, his father demands justice for Murdock cheating on his mate. Murdock has two weeks to convince Heaven he loves him or Maverick will be forced to kill him. Just when it looks like Heaven will forgive him, another more dangerous man takes Heaven. Can Murdock save the mate he has come to love before it is too late?
Brac Pack 13: Heaven’s Hell by Lynn Hagen is a really emotional read. I found myself really feeling for Heaven. He is a man that believes in happily ever afters and he gets Murdock. At first Murdock comes off as a man willing to do it with anyone anytime anywhere cause, well, he can. Then we find he is really deeper than that. Then the new threat happens. This new threat was very emotional, and changes things forever. The books in this series should be read in order. All the Brac Pack Series builds on each other. I particularly like that, and always want more after I finish reading one of the stories. This one is no exception - the ending left me wanting to bang some heads together and get vengeance for Heaven. I really like the emotion turn this book took and hope to see more of the Alpha Brac Pack men and those they love in the future.
What to say about this book? Well, for starters I have to say I wasn't at all excited about reading it. And normally I do look forward to the following book in the series coming out every Friday. However, explicit sex scenes between one of the MC and 2 faceless twinks in a club are not my cup of tea. It wasn't even the fact that Murdock did it, after all, most of the wolves and the mates had sex with other people before each other. It was the fact that I had to read about it in detail and how much of an ass Murdock had been about “enjoying life with no mate to tie him down” in a previous book that put me off.
That said, the story wasn't at all what I was expecting. Heaven walking in on Murdock having sex with another guy and being distraught about it lasted for only so long before everything was forgiven and forgotten, and the crisis – aka Maverick having to terminate Murdock – was averted.
And actually, Murdoch wasn’t half the ass he made himself out to be, I actually rather liked him once he stopped being the pack slut. He was very loving towards his mate and very protective too. Heaven was really sweet. Only 50, which is young in wolf terms, he was cute and slightly immature, until he got a really big wake up call. And what a wake up call it was!
Fifty is considered young when you can live up to one thousand years, so some of Heaven's actions are completely understandable, especially when they involved the mate he'd spent his Gray Wolf shifter's short life dreaming about and making up plans for their wonderfully magical & romantic future.
When reality actually brought him his mate, he was devastated & betrayed beyond belief. How could this happen to him? He was so distraught he went to stay with his cousin. Home just held too many bad mate memories.
But Karma kicked him in the head again by leading him right back to the mate he swore he never wanted to see again. The hurt of betrayal so deeply painful. How would he ever be able to forgive someone who destroyed his life. His father had an old fashioned barbarous solution.
But before it could be carried out something worse happened. His mate saved his life twice yet the horrors did not stop be falling him. The Santiago brothers are introduced in this book.
Well, I delved into the Bracverse a 2nd time and now there are 121 books - yikes! I loved this Universe the first time I read it several years ago and now I love it more, I really do, but I've only been able to read these series (and I have expanded to all the books that are currently out in each): Brac Pack Christian's Coven Zeus's Pack Demon Warriors The Exiled
These are the series that start the Universe. Reading them in order is a must. Each book has it's own love story but there is an underlying story that plays out throughout them all. As you get towards the end of these series, other series come into play and I noticed that, since I did not read them, I missed some of the characters being mentioned (good and bad) but I was still able to follow because the main ones stay the same.
One day I WILL buy these and read them all!!! (For the correct order, just look on the Internet for Lynn Hagen Reading Order): Brac Village Shadow Tribe BPNG (Brac Pack Next Generation - Brac Pack kids) The Remus Brothers Wolves of Desire
