I'm finding this frustratingly slow and long. I'm about to finish the Stacey chapter (#2) and I'm thinking of skipping ahead to the last chapter (Lisa's). I know that may sound heretical, but do you think that could work?

I really admired Markley's writing but did find it long and slow. I am still not clear on the fate of Lisa. I know what happened to her but not why. Did I miss something somewhere in the book?

Jane Me too. But a friend says it was because Lisa had the rape video. Makes sense but the author should have written about that murder. That and the unhop…moreMe too.
