She is a wonderful storyteller and if you like Native American present and past woven in you will really love it. I like how she keeps you posted on all the different LaRoses throughout the book. It could get confusing but she recaps things nicely to remind you who she is writing about. It is not a quick easy read but those kind of books are usually the best, in my opinion. Hope you will give it a try or at least one of her other books.(less)
