I absolutely adored the Out in College books, it’s my favorite series of yours. Will you be continuing it?? (I really hope you do!)

Is Sebastian from Starting from Zero and Starting from Scratch getting is ever after too? I hope so because I love the way he has been growing in the two books, and although he clearly blew is chances in the past I would really wanted him to meet his match too. Love your stories. Thank you for writing and sharing.

Lane Hayes Yes! Sebastian is definitely getting his own story! I think he deserves one! LOL His will be coming later this year or early 2021. Book 3 in Starting From should be released this summer. I'm so happy you're enjoying this series! Thank you! Lane xo

Hi, Lane! I've just read Starting from scratch and I loved it. However, I remember reading Declan's book, too, but I can't tell its title and I don't seem to find it anywhere. Am I wrong?

Lane Hayes Hi Irina- Declan's book is next! There are just two books in the series so far, Starting From Zero (Justin and Gray) and Starting From Scratch. Book 3 will out in early spring. Declan does appear in SFZ. Maybe that's where you remember him. I'm so happy you enjoyed Charlie and Ky's story! Thank you! Lane xo

Lane Hayes Hi Karla- Thanks so much for your lovely message. I appreciate it. I'm finishing Book 3 in Out in College. It's called Out in the Offense and it will be released January 2019. After that comes Book 1 in a new series that's loosely tied to the Out in College. Best wishes, Lane xo

Hello Ms. Hayes, I'm searching for your A Way with Words on Amazon Germany but can't find it there while of course it's available in the US. Did I do something wrong or is it just not available here?

Lane Hayes Hello- A Way with Words and A Way with You are Kindle World releases by Amazon so for now they're only available in the US. There is a way to access US Amazon. Lane Hayes Hi Jan- I'm sorry to report that A Way with Words is not available outside the US yet. It's a Kindle Worlds book and they haven't expanded their platform to include international customers. They will but it may be another month or two. Stop by Love Bytes blog or the MM Daily Grind (FB group) for a chance to win a copy. I feel terrible that it isn't available right away for everyone. Hopefully Amazon corrects this sooner rather than later!

Have you thought about publishing in pt/br? I loved better than, but it would be easier to read in pt :) Is always so hard to find good m/m books publish in Brazil, think about. ps: sorry for my english

I just finished Better than Safe and loved it! I have to ask, are there going to be more books in this series? I see a couple of titles listed on GR but no date beside them or any other info.

Lane Hayes Thank you Fani! Better Than Safe is #4 in the Better Than series. The other title names are from free short stories listed on my website. You can find them at www.lanehayes.wordpress.com. They're about Matt & Aaron specifically but I'm going to post a new short story in parts (not sure how many yet) that will feature all of the guys from the Better Than Stories series. Look for part one within the week. As for a new book in the series, I'm not sure. I love these guys so...maybe! I'll keep you posted! Thank you for your question. Lane xo

Book 1 in the new series should be out by January 2017. I'm not sure what the series will be called yet. I tend to name them at the last minute. LOL. I'll finalize it by December. Lane xo

Someone labeled this as the first of a series called (A Kind Of) but I can't find it listed anywhere like that. Is it correct?

Lane Hayes A Kind of Truth is book 1 in my new series. The second book will be out in late spring/early summer. The series is called A Kind of Stories. This series is a spin off of Better Than. If you read Better Than Safe, you may remember Rand is Seth's best friend. :-)

Will Better than Safe and The wrong man be availble on audio?

Lane Hayes Yes! I know for a fact that the narrator who worked on the first 3 Better Than audios has agreed to come back to do Better Than Safe. And since Dreamspinner Press is great about continuity with narrators reading series, I'm fairly certain they've asked Michael to come back to read the next two books in the Right & Wrong Stories series too! Lane!!!!! OMG!!! the Better Than series is great! I loved it! I just finished the Right and Wrong series! I couldn't get enough of these great men! The characters and their stories are fantastic!!!! Please tell me there will be stories for Derrick, Trevor, Lorenzo, and even Eli? I'm excited about the new better than book coming out in the fall, as well as, the new series! Best, mcqreader

Do you plan on writing any more for Zev and Adam?

Lane Hayes I'd like to eventually. I think Out in the Deep End would make a nice prequel to their story. Are you interested? :-)

Lane Hayes I think it's left to the reader's interpretation but in my mind, Nate would move to LA and move in to Alex's place (It's bigger than the one Nate is renting from Alex). They could use the Oxnard place as a 2nd home. The reason I think it's an LA move is family. Alex is very close with his family and I think it's part of what has been missing in Nate's life. By the end of the story, he spends quite a bit of time with the Reyes family.

But again... it's up to you! :-)

Have you ever considered participating in M/M Romance's Don't Read in the Closet event? With a new one right around the corner (literally), I was just curious. I'm also greedy and just want more by you, but I'm open about that.

Lane, I thoroughly enjoyed the Better Than series and now I'm on to Right/Wrong. Loved The Right Words. I've just started The Wrong Man and get the feeling I've read the scenario before (Bran doggy sitting for Jake's sweet Mack). Is The Wrong Man a re-release?
