Hi Martine! Thanks for reading my books. I'm glad you're enjoying them. If you read the Wings of War series, there is actually a part in the second book, GAIA, set in an Amish community. I plan to write a couple more books in Serenity's Plain Secrets and a fifth book in the Temptation series. When I've completed those series I have ideas for new stories. Enjoy the holiday season!

It's a regional thing here in the US. Some people refer to the word as a hat or sled. I grew up in upstate NY and use the word for both. Hello Karina! Sorry for the late response and thanks for the question. I love many aspects of the Amish lifestyle and dislike a lot more. But the one thing that I really enjoy the most are the horses. I'm a horse enthusiast and I appreciate the close working relationships the Amish have with their horses and how they're such a pivotal part of their culture.

Hi Shelley! Sorry for the late response. Your question is great. I'm currently working on the fourth and final book in the series, ETERNITY. The Wings of War is very much about the grey areas of everything, from human nature to biblical scripture. Ember can not take on God, nor does she want to. She's caught up in the end of times. You'll have to read ETERNITY to see how she handles the apocalypse, the reemergence of the angels and the evil spreading across the world. Look for ETERNITY in 2018!

Hello Susan! Sorry to get back to you so late! I've been busy moving and writing and haven't been on Goodreads in a while. There are a lot of websites to get information about therapy and rescue horses, but "hands on" experience is the best. See if there are any riding stables in your area that might let you volunteer. Your writing will be much more authentic if you interact with horses and horse people. Good luck!
