Trigun Stampede Limited Edition Releases Next Week, And Preorders Are Steeply Discounted
At long last, the new adventures of Vash the Stampede will be available on Blu-ray this September, and you can save on the standard edition at Amazon.
Compared to its western counterparts, anime that has been CG-animated regularly pales in comparison. Trigun Stampede is one of the rare exceptions to that rule, and at long last, this masterpiece of cutting-edge animation is headed to Blu-ray. Preorders are now live for regular and limited edition sets. Trigun Stampede puts a new spin on the sci-fi western manga series that is well-worth watching, and the limited edition release, shown below, looks fantastic. Both versions are available to preorder now at Amazon ahead of Trigun Stampede's September 10 release, which happens to be the same day Trigun's Deluxe Edition manga arrives--and you can save on your preorder for that massive 704-page collection at Amazon, too.

Trigun Stampede was a big hit when it first debuted in 2023. A highly stylized retelling of the manga, the show takes place on an alien world where survivors of a colony fleet have built several cities in this harsh frontier. With an absurdly high bounty on his head, Vash the Stampede has to regularly deal with bandits looking to cash in while he searches for his malevolent brother, Millions Knives. Alongside investigative reporters Meryl Stryfe and Roberto De Niro, Vash continues his search while getting caught up in pure mayhem across the planet of Noman's Land.
Compared to the stiff and barebones animation of other CG anime series, Trigun Stampede looks fantastic in action. The new designs for Vash and Meryl look fantastic, the animation has a Looney Tunes level of energy in each frame, and every action scene sets the bar for what CG animation is capable of.
If you'd like to check out the print adventures of Vash, you can also read the manga. New oversized hardcover editions are available to preorder at Amazon. The Deluxe Edition of Trigun's original manga arrives the same day as Stampede. Deluxe Editions of Trigun Maximum will begin releasing next month. Preorders are discounted for all four upcoming books.
