She's, a.) super talented. b.) pretty damn talented c.) more talented than I am d.) able to speak spanish which is pretty cool e.) a very friendly and helpful gal f.) just neat all around. Amanda, I could talk about your work forever. You are a huge inspiration to me. I feel close to you through your work and I treasure that. Your work never feels contrived or forced, it has such a natural spontaneous quality to it. The way you see the world around you and translate it to photos and art is very unique and mature. Your work has beautiful romantic influences in it and your portrayal of nature and light show your attention to delicate pieces of our reality that are often passed over. One of my favorite things I've seen consistently in your work is the juxtaposition of the calm and ethereal mood in your nature, landscape, and candid portraiture photos with the dynamic scattered feeling in your self portraits. You really are one of my favorite photographers on this earth, I am in love with your work. Your ongoing exploration of the world around you and the ways to capture it will always be something i admire. Please don't ever stop.
