Fin Shepard (Ian Ziering) and his ex-wife April (Tara Reid) are flying to New York City when their plane enters the most unnatural of storms and is battered by airborne sharks. As blood is shed and passengers are maimed in the skies, New York awakens and people spill onto the streets, unaware of the peril descending rapidly towards them. Armed with weapons and explosives, Fin realises he must risk all to save his sister s family from the greatest of danger as floods and storms crash into the city. (Kaleidoscope Home Entertainment)

After the well-deserved success of the first installment, the filmmakers went down the well-trodden path again, that is, zero script or direction, disastrous effects and a lot of non-acting. I'm awarding one star again for the unintentional humor, but also for the beautiful celebration of New York City and its people, and the most romantic marriage proposal in movie history. I was amazed that Samuel L. Jackson didn't take part in this. After Snakes on a Plane, he could have starred in Sharks on a Plane, and that's a challenge! A line from the film that says it all: "These shark could be coming down at 2 inches an hour." ()
Sharknado 2: The Second One is another B-movie that I personally find very entertaining. It's over the top, it's hokey, but if you go into this thinking you're going to get a serious film, you're probably missing something. This movie is funny, has brilliant scenes, and being cliched and at times awkward is just expected. Moreover, in this case, it's certainly not to an otherwise great extent. I had a great time and I want a third film! ()
