In the case of Alice Klieg (Kristen Wiig), she quits her psychiatric meds and buys her own talk show. Inspired by the immortal Oprah, she broadcasts her dirty laundry as both a form of exhibitionism and a platform to share her peculiar views on everything from nutrition to relationships to neutering pets. inglês It is certainly commendable that one specific disease is being highlighted in this way. The fact that Kristen Wiig gives another of her great performances here is also a positive for the film. But that's about all that intrigued me about it. The story is quite inaccessible, and honestly, it's rather clichéd, just spiced up by the possibility that it could happen to someone. Or at least in a similar state of mind. ()

inglês The movie intrigued me mostly because Kirsten Wiig plays in it. Lately, she has been persuading me that she’s a brilliant actress and she really enjoyed this role. As far as the story goes, it’s a little worse, because they talk about Oprah, God, faith and these things, which I’m not exactly a fan of. But it’s certainly an interesting idea. ()
