Pictures like Radostná událost are rare on the world film scene like saffron. I certainly repeat the statement that the French once again confirmed the complexity of genres they can boast of. For me personally, a very instructive film, quite unique in its processing. Louise Bourgoin impressed me immensely in the lead role and managed to break out of the "blond bimbo" stereotype. I never doubted Pio Marmay, I was convinced of his wider range earlier.
