Willie Sutton robbed banks during the Depression because, he explained, "That's where the money is." Former Indiana farmboy John Dillinger also knew where the money was. Engels It's not a particularly remarkable film; it doesn't stand out much in how the character of Dillinger is portrayed, but it's not shot poorly either, and it's watchable. It's somewhat straightforward, but the black-and-white camera work in this case does its job and has the right effect on the viewer. It feels more like a film noir. ()
