I didn't think this film would be any good. I saw both Bad Moms and A Bad Moms Christmas, so I expected the worst from Mila Kunis. I didn’t really think much of Kate McKinnon either. In the end, the film didn’t turn out to be a total disaster. It had a few funny moments, even though the script was affected by the authors’ likely dementia. Once again, there was plenty of the "crowd-pleasing" vomit and diarrhea humor. Kate McKinnon was in her usual role of a half-crazy suicidal bitch, which she had crafted to perfection. I really have no idea how the creators came up with the name Nadedja. Was it supposed to be Nadezhda? Just a guess. Two stars are as high as I can go in this case. ()
A typical American comedy about two clueless women who stumble into action in Europe. The humor is mostly lowbrow, with the highlights being moments when they're not resorting to fart jokes or puking, but instead trying to pronounce Hungarian or Czech town names. Surprisingly, the scenes in Prague were the most entertaining for me, even though the movie kicked off with a cringeworthy line about Eastern Europe being all about Gothic architecture. That grated on me, but the Czech cover of "These Boots Are Mady for Walkin'" playing over shots of Prague Castle made up for it. Overall, it's average fare, but if you're looking to kill some time, it's not the worst choice — especially for a Czech viewer who might get a kick out of the local references. ()
The flash drive that every agent in the world is after is hidden by Mila Kunis in a place only a gynecologist and Mr. Kutcher are allowed. Light up the sign that says "Applause!" Two things put me off. The over-the-top performance by Kate McKinnon, who could have been easily replaced by Schumer without any difference, and the strange disregard for violent acts, such as when they witness a taxi driver getting shot in the head and act as if they're in a movie... I'm trying not to think about where Melissa McCarthy would have hidden the flash drive in their place. ()
Fun action comedy, I had a good time despite the relatively long running time. Although I really like Mila Kunis and she is a very sexy actress, it must be acknowledged that this film was stolen by Kate McKinnon. She shines from start to finish. I enjoyed the classic pendulum between European metropolises, including Prague. And I had a lot of fun with the trains heading from Vienna to Prague and with the Czech license plates. It's worth three and a half stars, I'm in a good mood, I'm lifting up. ()
Mila Kunis and Kate McKinnon as two ordinary girls caught up in a spy war. There's plenty of surprisingly solid action, but there's also a lot of humour that doesn't quite click as well as it should. Kate McKinnon tries to steal the film for herself, unfortunately teetering on the edge of awkwardness quite often. With a shorter running time and a more cohesive cast, this could have been a fine comedy. As it is, it's just mediocre. ()
