Time Walker

Standard 1980s fare teasing the idea that the ancient Egyptians were visited by aliens, albeit in a slightly different way than in Stargate. Professor Douglas McCaden and his team discover a mysterious sarcophagus in Egypt and have it transported to a scientific institute in California, which includes a university. A student tasked with X-raying the mummy finds mysterious crystals and keeps them, but the mummy wants its crystals back. There’s also a strange fungus from outer space that kills. Of course, they could have done more with the effects and the gore, but there are still some nice shots, though the nudity is only behind plastic this time. The best part is of course the end, when the main villain gets involved... (02.11.2024)
