Le Dernier pour la route

The French know how to make films, no doubt about it. I'm often surprised by just how many movies come out of the country each year, and more often than not, I’m impressed. One for the Road is another one that grabbed my attention, especially because of its subject matter. The film feels incredibly real, telling the story of people you could easily run into at a bar any day. It’s relatable not just in France but anywhere because, let’s face it, society these days is slowly turning us all into alcoholics. (2012.05.02)
