angol Juraj Herz built the whole thing on the fact that the murderer from the van is never shown, not even when caught (just a funny cut with the "trimming" of wings), and the wacky character played by Veškrnová will systematically toilet the viewer. The stumbling in the plot structure and the socialist stench will make you pay attention to the details. For example, Augusta's cooking skills or the dismal sanitary conditions of hotel kitchens and bakeries. ()

angol The direction is acceptable, and the fresh-faced Dagmar Veškrnová, in her debut, brims with energy, but the screenplay is as weak as concentration camp soup. It's a typical stylistic piece without atmosphere, unable to evoke strong emotions in the viewer. Overall impression: 40%. ()

angol Dagmar Veškrnová was really hard to bear in places, and I didn't like the large number of characters who were useless, and I wouldn't even call the whole story a crime story. But on the other hand, A Girl Fit to Be Killed has a really sensational opening, great music, several funny moments and the impeccable Ilya Prachař, Karel Augusta and Vaclav Lohniský. ()

angol Dagmar Veškrnová has slayed another naive role. The movie is quite boring, but on the other hand, I have to admit that it managed to intrigue me at first glance, especially Dagmar. I stopped everything I was doing that Sunday afternoon and focused only on her. But eventually, I realized that this crime investigation movie was more about Dagmar herself rather than the murderer. But I’ve never seen a Czech movie taking place on the Sněžka Mountain and so I must applaud it in this regard. ()
