Joake no uta

On stage, Noriko Midorikawa (Ruriko Asaoka) is the queen of musicals; but offstage, she is a composer's mistress. Engaged in a fruitless relationship, she lives a self-destructive lifestyle of luxury and decadence. One day, she receives a script that bears a striking resemblance to her personal life of secrecy and thus places her at the crossroads. (Nikkatsu)
