Jeff Winger-t felfüggesztik az állásából, mert érvénytelennek ítélik a diplomáját. Az egyébként ügyvédként dolgozó pasinak így aztán vissza kell ülnie az iskolapadba, és újra lediplomáznia. Jeff beiratkozik a Greendale Communicity Főiskolára, ahol újra belecsöppen a diákéletbe. Új embereket ismer meg, többek között Britta Perry-t, akibe szerelmes is lesz, de a lány egy nála sokkal idősebb férfi, Pierce Hawthorne mellett gyűjt tapasztalatokat... (TV2 Come:dy)

This Greendale bunch is one of the tightest groups of friends that ever appeared in a sitcom. After having seen about 35 episodes, I could just go and watch them all over again, because they made me laugh so hard like no other series. Despite all the references that I probably didn’t catch because I haven’t seen enough movies and a lot of the jokes were intended for an American audience, I still laughed with every episode. All the characters are perfectly cast. Troy and Abed are clearly in the lead, but the others are great, too. And my favorite episodes? Modern Warfare - an undisputed highlight of the series (Disco Stu totally killed it) / Epidemiology - (“Jeff. Still cool as a zombie.”). / Contemporary American Poultry / Conspiracy Theories and Interior Design / Remedial Chaos Theory / Pillows and Blankets / S01: 9/10. S02: 9/10. S03: 9/10. S04: 9/10. S05: 7/10. ()
I saw the show's first three seasons at one time and I remember that I really liked it, but when I returned to it after years (and caught up with three missing seasons), the excitement wasn't there. It is true that Community contains episodes that almost made me burst with laughter and that I would gladly watch again, but there were far fewer of those episodes than I had hoped for. The writing took a nosedive, which I came to terms with, so I was surprised at how much I enjoyed the fifth season. However, it turned out that it was only the dying sparks. I couldn't believe the development... no, the degeneration the character of Britta Perry went through. Should I take it as a warning against using marijuana? On the other hand, Annie Edison was excellent. In my eyes, the show suffered greatly from (increasingly frequent in later seasons) recycled ideas and the associated loss of originality. / Lesson learned: Cabin fever can be prevented by changing the crew. Uncompromisingly versatile. Sometimes they are like an inseparable family, other times they destroy each other with dozens of sarcastic comments. Sometimes they have power in their dialogue, and other times in their countless pop culture references, since Abed has probably seen everything. But whether they are taking things seriously or much more often with the hardest caliber of humor, it works excellently either way. That additional touch of uniqueness is provided by the fact that thanks to the dean, the increasingly funnier Britta, and my favorite Jeff, the series gets an excellent sharpness thanks to its uncensored and completely unthreatening references to all social groups, beliefs, and orientations. In this student smorgasbord, such unexpected jokes are precisely measured sharp spices. And one can only marvel at the fact that the creators have yet to run out of ideas, even after zombies, documentaries, mobsters, cartoons, musicals, puppets, or paintball. But inspiration is one thing, the overall impression is another altogether. In the last two seasons the Greendale gang often struggles, surprisingly often in fact, given the increasing number of departures of regular faces, and your constant smile therefore changes into almost inconspicuous tension. Thanks to the definitive finale, which completely breaks the narrative boundaries in the spirit of those six years, I am still fully satisfied with Community. In the end, I feel like Dan Harmon wrote this episode for those fans whose whispers brought the series from inconspicuous waters to the position of a long-standing nerd cult. ()
I'm Batman :-D ()
For the first few episodes, it's clearly looking for a space in which to operate, then it turns out to be a likable cozy college series that conjures up one smile after another. In the last third, it definitely devolves into an endless quotation (and parody) of everything you can think of. Yes, Modern Warfare is undeniably great, but the chicken wing episode a la Goodfellas seems like it directed by Scorsese himself. This is a series I really enjoy that makes all the comedy stalwarts of today look like malnourished paupers. ()
