The idea is very interesting, but the final form is terribly bloated, cluttered and not very imaginative. I wish Dinotopia had pushed Jurassic Park aside to become my childhood favourite. If it wasn't for David Thewlis, whom I was rooting for as the bad guy at the end, I would hardly have finished watching it at all.
