anglais The Vicious Circle, or as I like to call it, “Bizarre Adventures of Dr. Latimer.” That subtitle popped into my head early on, and it never really left. I honestly didn’t expect much from this fairly average 50s flick, but I ended up more entertained than I thought I’d be. Dr. Latimer gets thrown into a whirlwind of events, and the quirky approach of the Scotland Yard gentlemen made it clear that not everything was as it seemed. Sure, I’ve seen plenty of films where an unlucky guy gets tangled up in what seems like airtight evidence against him, but this one really pulled me into the story. Also, I have to mention Diana Lambert as the nurse—her mischievous smile definitely caught my eye. The weakest part? The inevitable fight scene, which was thankfully brief enough to not drag down my overall enjoyment. As I said, I had a good time watching this. Now, I just need to check if my relatives are really who they say they are... not that I’m paranoid, but better safe than sorry. / Lesson learned: Never walk home alone at night—always bring someone who can vouch for your alibi.
