anglais After some serious and perfectly played roles, Jim Carrey once again went off to shoot one more crazy comedy. But, woefully, Carrey and the Friesian are the only positive things in the whole movie. Everything else from the direction to the screenplay to the unbearable length is terrible. There are a few (but only a few) hilarious scenes but they are not enough to save the movie. ()

anglais The crazy creations of an even crazier Jim Carrey, a trio of black men and an unusually thin Bridget Jones ... just add some really disgusting moments with the good ones and you get a pretty average American comedy with a huge concentration of derivatives of "fuck" and "bitch". In short, a film that, despite its flaws, still has a little something going for it. ()

anglais Carrey at his "face-making" best, i.e. there really are few actors with such brutally sophisticated facial expressions (Ryan Gosling is the opposite extreme). I'd leave the "seriousness" of the story completely aside and make do with the claim that this is a breezy comedy with some memorable moments and sometimes pretty killer lines. The trio of brothers was unbeatable in this regard. ()

anglais Jim Carrey and comedy films are truly an inseparable duo. This film was indeed incredibly funny and entertaining in several moments, and Jim Carrey is just a fantastic actor. The story is quite bland and simple, but it’s balanced out by Carrey’s hilarious antics. I must admit that the role of a schizophrenic is perfectly suited for him. Charlie and Hank complemented each other wonderfully. I also can’t forget to mention Renée Zellweger, who also performed well. While it doesn’t compare to Ace Ventura, it’s still a good comedy, and I give it 70%. ()

anglais I don't know why I always changed the channel when this movie was on TV, now I finally watched the whole thing and hats off to Jim Carrey for delivering another of his typical acting performances and its a shame because he’s a brilliant comedian and now he hardly does any filming at all. The idea of a schizophrenic with narcissistic symptoms was brilliant. 85%. ()
