Louis Feuillade

Louis Feuillade is a prolific director of over 700 films, most of them short or medium-length. Feuillade began his career with "Gaumont". His first series was Le Film Esthétique in 1910, a financially unsuccessful attempt at highbrow cinema. More popular was La vie telle qu'elle est which moved from the costume pageantry to a more realistic depiction of contemporary life.
