Mada Koi wa Hajimaranai

There were two reasons I've wanted to watch this series for a long time – Takenouchi Yutaka and a fateful love that survives 200 years of separation. In the end, it turned out to be a slow-burn "slice of life" series with a song that keeps me up at night: where the hell have I heard it before?! Yes, there's destiny in it, and it's very nice how it's clear from the start that the creators took it in stride, as confirmed by the narrator himself who guides us through the story. He's even mischievous, and his Oh My God shines through the slow series pacing. We have a lot of stereotypes and an incredible amount of destiny. And unfortunately, given the age of the series, some poor quality video as well. Let's just say it's more for the connoisseur than someone who has just gotten started with Asian series. A weak 3 stars. A mediocre series. (09.09.2013)
