Walt Disney Picturesin elokuva ENCHANTED yhdistää Disneyn klassiset animaatiosadut ja nykyaikaisen näytellyn romanttisen komedian.Tarinan pääosassa on kaunis prinsessa Giselle (AMY ADAMS), jonka ilkeä kuningatar (SUSAN SARANDON) karkottaa taianomaisesta ja lempeästä animaatiomaailmasta karuun todellisuuteen nykypäivän Manhattanin kaduille. Järkyttyneenä uudesta oudosta ympäristöstään, joka ei kumma kyllä toimikaan onnellisten loppujen periaatteella, Giselle joutuu toteamaan olevansa keskellä kaoottista maailmaa, joka kaipaa kipeästi uutta lumoa. Kun Giselle sitten ihastuu hurmaavan kömpelöön asianajajaan (PATRICK DEMPSEY), joka ryhtyy auttamaan häntä – vaikka Giselle onkin jo kotipuolessa lupautunut täydelliselle satuprinssilleen (JAMES MARSDEN) – hän joutuu pohtimaan, onko satukirjojen romanttisilla käsityksillä mitään sijaa oikeassa maailmassa. englanti Transitions between different time periods abound and it was about time to stage the equivalent of Space Jam, and this time the (almost) princess is transported from fairyland to bustling New York. The whole story is like the fairy tales themselves - simple, plain, naive and unbelievable. "They lived happily ever after!". The cast is perfect, Amy Adams is lovely as the naive fairy girl, Timothy Spall is great in negative roles, and Susan Sarandon never disappoints. And then, of course, there's the wonderful squirrel Pip. In short, a beautiful fairy tale set in modern times about a fairy tale "princess" from a land where Little Red Riding Hood chases the wolf with an axe (that really got me) and a modern day "prince". The quotation marks alone mean they belong together. ()

englanti It's a pretty fairytale, and the integration with animation here is better than anywhere else. It's charming and very visually appealing at first glance, but Amy Adams manages to irritate me so much that I don't even enjoy watching it. James Marsden is great though because he's essentially playing a dimwit, which is quite funny compared to animated princes. ()

englanti It was a romantic fairy tale so the ending was a given, but it didn't bother me at all in this case. What annoyed me was the singing which I hate in fairy tales (except for the Happy Working Song – I did enjoy that one). Otherwise, it was great fun and it put me in a cheerful mood. Princess Giselle was incredibly adorable, Prince Edward was incredibly.....valiant. I was amused by Giselle's ability to transform any fabric into a great-looking item of clothing. When she met her new animal friends, I giggled like a little kid. To sum it up; I had a great time, the film wasn’t spoiled by a melodramatic ending, and even though it was an undemanding watch, it put me in a good mood, and that's what counts. / Lesson learned: Don't underestimate rodents. englanti Enchanted fully corresponds to the traditions of the Disney studio focused on producing commercially successful family films with fairytale themes in the most conventionally imaginable way. It is desperately cluttered, colorful, romantic, emotional, and above all, extremely saccharine. It's like eating four large chocolates at once. Not that I, with my notorious sweet tooth, wouldn't try that, but the result would be a ruined stomach - and that's how it is with this film. It is an adorably kitschy work that many can swoon over, but it simply doesn't sit well with me. Just like the artistic style of classic Disney movies doesn't sit well with me. Overall impression: 40%. The only thing worth mentioning is the visually remarkable closing credits that imitate the style of books painted by medieval monks. ()

englanti For a long time, it remained a mystery to me which jewel had nested in the expanding silent fan base, and after the first twenty minutes, I felt like I had lost myself. The sweet tones, hair curls, dress ruffles, and life truths started rolling in a bit too much, and I began to hide from them. But as soon as you open your sensors to this romance even just halfway, it rushes to you so forcefully that you won't let it go back. Amy Adams is so sweet that you would immediately take her home, sing with her, and something like the dance interlude from the ball is so romantic that it shook the foundations of my tear ducts. This movie was exactly for me from the beginning. I just realized it a bit later. ()
