The Beast of Beauty

Kristin is extremely preoccupied with bodies and appearances, and she tries to pass this fixation on to Vendela, and by-and-by to Lotte as well. Kristins ambition is that Vendela becomes Little Miss Norway at a beauty contest for children. This is a fairy tale movie in a Roald Dahl setting, with elements from horror movies. Here we find the motherless girl, the evil stepmother, a magic ointment that will make the world a more evil place if the good forces are not victorious, and good old love and deceit.
