A Mexican slasher flick with a brutal zombie devil in the main role. On the one hand, it’s very atmospheric (graveyard, underground corridors, skeletons, spider webs, a small town at night, church, crypt), and on the other, it’s incredibly stupid in a 1980s kind of way. So it’s a weird blend of everything I like about the genre with everything that I hate. The result is a three-star rating, but satisfaction prevails. Brisk, screeching, atmospheric fun. ()
A Mexican slasher film that takes place at a cemetery, where a few people went, thinking that grave robbing is a great idea. Of course, it will backfire on them. The film is quite intense and ugly in places, which definitely adds to the overall impression. Ultimately, though, you'll feel like it doesn't really stand out that much. But it is bloody. ()
