Simen Alsvik

Simen Alsvik has directed more than 40 episodes of drama. He is the main director of the Netflix Original series Lilyhammer, which has been sold to 150 countries all around the world - twice winning the Golden Nymph at the International TV Festival in Monte Carlo, and has also picked up Best Drama Award at the Norwegian Television Festival.

His series Fallet, made for Swedish broadcaster SVT, was picked for Hollywood Reporter's list of the Top Ten TV-shows at MipCom Cannes 2017, and is nominated Best Comedy at Seoul International Drama Festival. Simen also co-created the dramedy Next Summer, which was the biggest TV-show on Discovery Channel Norway for four consecutive years. Simen has been show-running and directing the series, which was awarded Best Comedy at the Norwegian Television Festival 2016.

Simen has co-written and co-directed the animation feature Anchors Up, which was his first animation movie.
