Born 1976 in Okayama, ODAGIRI received recognition for his acting in Kiyoshi KUROSAWA’s Bright Future when the film was entered In Competition at the Cannes Film Festival in 2003. He then made a strong impression as Takeshi KITANO’s son in Yoichi SAI’s Blood and Bones in 2004, which won him a number of awards.
