The year 1972. Yura, a 12-year-old schoolboy from Lyubertsi, once having heard Robertino Loretti’s songs, starts singing himself. At first he gets embarrassed, as singing, according to his peers and some of the adults, is not something man should do. But, thanks to young music teacher Varvara’s mentoring, Yura develops his talent and decides to audition for Grachev’s choir. The choir director’s got only a month to expand the cast and prepare a new program for participating in the "Song of the Year" TV-festival. Neither the pressure of the officials, nor the intrigues of the rivals, nor the complex relationships between teachers, kids and their parents should interfere with the preparation for the show, as the future of the choir depends on this performance. Hard times are coming, full of dramatic events, which are going to change lives of every single one involved – both young and adults. (Марс Медиа)
