Fernand, the naive bank employee, by the happenstance of his mere presence, fouls up the bank robbery plans of the tough-guy gangster Big J. When Fernand makes the front page of the local newspapers, the fair Renée, whom he's been courting in vain, finally takes notice. Renée's father, a police detective, has been on the trail of Big J. for a long time. But Big J. turns out to be none other than Fernand's own father. Father and son, girlfriend and father meet face to face... (official distributor synopsis)
