English Lionel Barrymore gives a very good performance here and manages to draw attention to himself, although admittedly he does it in a slightly theatrical way in places. For its time, the film contains a fairly interesting storyline and is not afraid of having some controversy, though of course it is more in the realm of words. But the topic is not bad. ()
