English The initial half hour when Chappelle is running around his hood and rounding up people to come to his show is outstanding, as well as the part about the preparations with a visit to a gem of architecture inhabited by a post-hippie couple. But then the movie begins to focus fully on the party itself and, with respect to the style of music, I am pretty surprised that I survived watching it in good health. But then immediately after it ended, I had to put some Alice Cooper on the record player as detox; who can stand all that proclamation about suppression, (in)equality and (lack of) freedom from people with diamonds in their ears?
