Scandinavians have a knack for absurdity, and Fredrik Backman knows how to weave it into his stories. Swedish filmmakers eagerly embrace it, too. While Anxious People might not be the strongest adaptation of his work, its short episodes and brisk pacing make it worth the watch. It's got that classic Swedish charm. ()
